  • The good:Check in was fast and the beautiful woman working the desk was pleasant. The room was clean and large contrary to what I heard about New York hotel rooms being a closet. It was one of the best rooms I have stayed in. It is European style where you feel like you at someone?s home, a very nice home! The bad:NOISE!I have never had problems sleeping anywhere but this was the first time. I was on the Madison Avenue corner, 4th floor and every time a bus went by and hit the gas I woke up. It was brutal. It was mostly due to the in-window AC unit. It was like having the window wide open to the street. I ran it to drown out the noise. The continental breakfast was a bit lame but oh well. I just prefer a full breakfast. Also I could not get on the WIFI and tech support just gave up on me. They happily refunded my money for it though. There were some teens tying up the guest computers so I never got to check my work email. All in all this was an extremely nice hotel as long as you don?t get a room near Madison. I would stay again if given the chance, very close to where I needed to do business.

  • We had a corner suite that had a mini kitchen. The rate was high due to the holidays, but the location is quite and one block from Central Park. Many terrific restaurants close by.

  • I enjoyed the hotel. The room was very nice and not too small. I had to wait at check out a little longer than necessary - only 1 person works the desk and there was not an invoice in my room or a speed checkout option. The staff was extremely nice.

  • I booked a ""Love of Dog"" room. The room was supposed to come with special food, treats and dog toys. NONE were provided. I was not even given a dish for the dogs water. Nonetheless, I was billed for full price this ""special"" room. When I checked out the hotel desk clerk stated that the manager would conatct me regarding my complaint. This person was never heard from. The room was very small and not anything that could be considered luxury. The stay was a disappointment This hotel is overpriced and absolutely failed to deliver the promised service.
