  • My Wife and I spent our Anniversery with some close friends who had never been to Las Vegas. We chose Ballys becasue its location. However, we discovered what a great place it was to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and accomadating. You have Bellagios, Mirage, Ceasers and Paris Hotel within a short walking disstance. In fact, Paris is connected to Ballys and you stroll by cool shops and restaurants before getting to main casino. There is also a shuttle that will take you to the Rio Hotel. We recommend you request the North Tower as it is newer. Service was wonderful and the staff could not have been any friendlier. I say Ballys is the best value on the strip.

  • Wow from the very beginning of our stay at Ballys we were pleasantly surprised...First we were able to check in an hour early...then when the customer service rep said we would be getting an "" up-grade"" she didnt dissapoint us the way we have been so many times in the past...We got a room over looking the pool/Eiffel Tower at Paris and half of the Fountians of Bellagio..The room was very nice and QUIET--looked updated and VERY clean!!!! I love a room with an in-room safe... then we went to the pool to relax!!!! WOW what a great place!!! The music was not blaring and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There was just enough shaded areas for those who need it and plenty of full sun for those of us who wanted that option...There wasnt a bad time to go either its big enough thats it doesnt ever feel crowed.Ballys location is the best!!!! I usually try to stay somewhere different each trip I take to Vegas--but I think I have found a keeper!!! They say you get what you pay for---well I think I just had the best hotel experience for the least amount of money in all my 14 trips to Vegas!!! If you are wondering if Ballys is a good deal---Why pay a premium price for a different hotel when you will get a premium hotel when you stay at Ballys...at a price thats a STEAL!!!! Thanks Ballys for a FANTASTIC trip!!!!

Room very clean; great mattress!When I checked it the desk gave me an upgrade to a fantastic suite and I appreciated that.

  • The hotel and casino is showing its age. The smell of cigarette smoke is everywhere and the gaming area looks tired. Our room was fine, nothing fancy with a good TV and an assortment of bath lotions and soaps , but no refrigerator (they will bring you one, for $$) and it cost $ a day if you want to use the room safe or $ if you want the 24 oz bottle of room temperature Aqufina water that is sitting on the bathroom counter. Our climate control in our room would decide for its self what temperature we wanted, any where between 60 & 80 degrees. Many things you would expect to be good, werent. A Reuben sandwich in the cafe was $, it was very poorly made, cold and served with the worst potato salad I have ever tasted. THe Ham and Eggs ($) at breakfast was better, but they charge $ for coffee and its NOT Starbucks! The show, Jubilee needs revamping. The main acts are the same as they were 10 years ago. The 3 acts that do change were great, but only last about 5 minutes each, We spent more time in the sister property, Paris and the Flamingo which is just down the street. As they are all part of the same casino group, your player card works at their casinos. Lunch at the Paris buffet was very good and at $ included beverages and dessert.Ballys has a great location and a good staff, the hotel needs to work on upgrading to the standards of near by properties.

  • I CHECKED IN AT THE AIRPORT, WHICH IS BETTER THAN WAITING IN THE CHECKOUT LINES.THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE A LITTLE DATED BUT IT WAS NICE.THEY HAVE A SAFE BLOWDRYER LOTS OF TOWELS IRON IRONBOARD, THE AIR CONDITIONING WORKED GREAT,BED WAS SOFT.I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN THE LOCATION IS GREAT FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE A CARENTAL.   • We had a wonderful time. The room was great. The casino was right downstairs. We had a great time. The hotel is much larger that I thought. But I had a wonderful time. I barely left the hotel.

  • We had a wonderful time. The room was great. The casino was right downstairs. We had a great time. The hotel is much larger that I thought. But I had a wonderful time. I barely left the hotel.

  • We got a room where the bed could be folded into the wall, it scared me, and it was a smoking room when we requested non smoking. The sink/bar area in the room was never cleaned and looked dirty. I was a little afraid of the room.

  • It was our first time to vegas and we had read many many reviews about different hotels in the area.We finally came to Ballys as our choice and booked it. We arrived right aroung 11:15 on a Sat, and there was a substanial line to check in, which we braved. We were probably in line for about 20mins until we got to check-in. I asked if they had a ""north tower room"" like all the reviews Id read said to, and was given a room with a king bed in it.Our room was not quite ready, but we were told that the bell hop would store our luggaage, and we could come back and see if the room was ready.We stowed our luggage with the bell hops and then decided to go for a walk.We came back about 2 from our walk to the close by Miracle Mall, the Bellagio, Paris, and Ceasers, got our room keys and headed upthe room was GORGEOUS. More then enough room for 2 people, very large bathroom, with tiled floors and ample lighting. A second sink and counters outside the bathroom with chairs and a large mirror, and a closet with ironing board, and extra pillows and blankets.Our bed was a very comfortable king size, there was a loung chair, lamp, table desk with phone and internet ports, and large TV and dresser.The TV reception was a little limited, and staticy, but who goes to Vegas to watch tv?the a/c was fabulous, the service was awesome, and the room was always neat and clean.what more can you ask for!

  • My finace and I loved every second of our trip. Everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. Ballys is centrally located which makes it easy to get to anywhere on the strip. Large, clean rooms, with a small but very relaxing pool area. Casino is very classy but fun for the casual gambler.

  • My finace and I loved every second of our trip. Everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. Ballys is centrally located which makes it easy to get to anywhere on the strip. Large, clean rooms, with a small but very relaxing pool area. Casino is very classy but fun for the casual gambler.

  • We really enjoyed our stay there. For a small fee we upgraded to the South Tower. It was worth every penney. Huge room, sunken tub, his and her vanity setups on both sides of the room. It even had a Bidet...which I had to explain to my partner on how its used. The room had a large window that faced the Bellagio and the Paris Hotels. You could watch the water show at the Bellagio from the room.Only downside was that you could hear the show somewhat when you were trying to sleep.Valet service was slow...understaffed. But it was a holiday weekend.The free bands at their cocktail lounge were great. Very entertaining. If you have the opportunity to see the band JAMM there...I strongly recommend them.Room service was great!

  • furniture was old had tears in chairs.carpet was awful,it smelled.small tv .no desk,one table two chairs ,and a dresserno frig,no micorwave, for the money it should have been alot nicer.bathroom was ok. i will never stay there again. my friend that went stayed there also.hated it! the casion service was real bad. had to go else where to gamble.and i doubt i will ever use travel website again either

  • We loved staying at Ballys. Our room was great. I had requested a refrigerator for my insulin and that was no problem, and they didnt even charge me for it, which they usually do. Great time.

  • From our first experience to our last, the staff was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and extremely friendly. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. My husband & I were married while in Vegas and the overall experience with Ballys was wonderful. i couldnt have asked for a better place to stay, especially for the money. It was in the perfect location on the strip and there was no need for us to rent a car. They even held our luggage on the day we checked out since our flight wasnt leaving until 10 that night. I also called to see if we could check out a little late and they let us check out 3 hours after we were suppose to at no additional charge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going toVegas and I would definitely stay there again.

  • Vacationed with friends who are students in their mid-20s, which means were poor. This hotel had the cheapest room rates for the weekend and it turned out to be the best hotel experience Ive had in Vegas. Staff was friendly and had great senses of humor. The dealers on the floor were also personable and had fun with us. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The pool was old (chipping paint, etc) but still warm and enjoyable. Also, its quite a trek to get to the pool, but its worth the walk. I definitely suggest this hotel for students who want to have fun and dont want to deal with stuffy dealers at tables.

  • Vacationed with friends who are students in their mid-20s, which means were poor. This hotel had the cheapest room rates for the weekend and it turned out to be the best hotel experience Ive had in Vegas. Staff was friendly and had great senses of humor.   • This is the perfect location for anyone who doesnt want to spend huge amounts of money to stay in a luxury hotel. I had a great view of Bellagio and the fountains from my window. Paris is directly connected to Ballys which made the walk next door so much cooler: literally, you could walk to a different hotel/casino in the air conditioning. Bellagio, Cesars Palace and Flamingo were easily accessible via the walkways/escalators. Also, Ballys is a monorail station so its super easy to get to other hotels along the strip.My only rant is that my room didnt have a mini-fridge.

  • My wife and I have settled into Ballys after staying at at least 10 other facilites over the years. We know the waiters in the Steakhouse, the wonderful ladies at the coffee kiosk have been their for many years, and many of the staff recognize us upon our visits. We stay no where else. Dont change anything - love the suites and we are already booked for July 2007

  • We were very happy with Ballys. The room & bathroom were big. In the middle of the strip. Good connect to Paris. If we go back to Vegas, we would absolutly stay there again!!!

  • Checked in sooner and room was ready. Since it was New Years, room had a welcome stack package with 5 boxes of various goodies, topped with a bottle of champagne. Exquisite view of the strip, very clean and spacious. Great indoor connection with shops to hotel Paris. Hotel has the monorail stop downstairs making that a great feature for traveling around the strip. Security was plentiful New Years Eve and you could not access the area to get to your room without your room card. Lots of gambling, but the tables are a little pricey $15 min. Has the best old time Vegas show, Jubliee right in house. A must see ! Friendly and courtious staff, lots of dining places and room service was equisite and cheaper than eating out at most restuarants. Highly recommend this hotel, and will stay there again on my next trip to Vegas. Rate this hotel A+

  • Checked in sooner and room was ready. Since it was New Years, room had a welcome stack package with 5 boxes of various goodies, topped with a bottle of champagne. Exquisite view of the strip, very clean and spacious. Great indoor connection with shops to hotel Paris. Hotel has the monorail stop downstairs making that a great feature for traveling around the strip.   • This was our first time visiting Las Vegas. We checked in at about 11:30 p.m. on a Friday night and the check-in line was very short. The lady at the front desk was friendly and we received an upgrade to a suite by simply asking. The suite was VERY NICE (the works - jacuzzi, steam room, wet bar) and we had half of a view of the Bellagio water show (the other half of our view overlooked the pool at the Paris Las Vegas hotel). It was great! My husband ordered sub sandwiches from a cafe in the lobby and brought them up to our suite. The meal was very good and reasonably priced. The casino was not overly crowded and didnt seem smoky like some of the other casinos that we visited. It was also pretty close (maybe 3 buildings over) to the heart of the strip. Id like to sample some of the other hotels just to get a feel for other hotels on the strip, but I would definetely stay at Ballys again.

  • Stayed here over the weekend and what a terrible experience. This one should be the next hotel scheduled for tear down because it was in awful shape. I am amazed that people are still staying here with the awful conditions. We reserved two rooms and both were in the same condition: old, dirty and worn carpet (wear your shoes carpet) filthy windows that have not been cleaned, the furniture was all scraped and very old, the beds were, I believe original and very uncomfortable. My pillow cases actually had been torn in many places. I just could not believe it. The shower head was pulsating where hardly any water came out due to the water being restricted. Could hardly take a shower. There was rust around all of the shower head. The towels were very very old and thin. And the television was a very old model. Looked to me and the persons I was staying with that it too was original. My advice is dont stay here no matter the price. This place is in very bad shape and it looks like they are unwilling to upgrade the property. If you elect to stay here, I am very confident that you will experience the same thing. Enjoy your stay at Las Vegas by going somewhere else!

  • This was my first time staying at Ballys and I must say that I was very impressed. I went to Las Vegas for my honeymoon and everyone there was very friendly. The location is perfect to everything that I wanted to do. So therefore to all the future travelocity customers Bally is truly the way to go and the value is excellent as well. See you in the spring Ballys
