  • A clean and quiet hotel near subways. The beds are comfortable, but wish they have queen beds instead of double beds as standards. The air conditioning is quiet, which is much better than some other hotel we stayed in at the same star level. The staff are helpful. They give out good information in terms of nearby restaurants and fruit market. The nearby Adams Garden Farmers Market is great, will recommend to travelers who are fresh fruits lovers. We had a good time in New York.Anything for improvement?: I would like microwaves in the room, laundry facility on site, and the best if they have continential breakfast.

  • Im a native New Yorker who recently relocated so when I go home and stay overnight Im really particular. After a night or two in the Marriott Im sold on it forever. Its a great hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed - clean, simple and tasteful and they smell of lemon -- all the time. The beds were amazingly plush and comfortable and topped with lots of pillows, the way I like it. The bathrooms were very clean and even the accessories and gels were top notch. We had brunch on a Sunday and the food was well prepared and the service very attentive. I think its a great hotel for a getaway as you are sort of secluded in Brooklyn but its close enough to all the subways and downtown Brooklyn so tourists can get a feel for the city.

  • Rooms very nice, clean, but beds were way too hard. And they had two big huge hard pillows along with two small very soft pillows. Was hard to get adjusted at first. Service was very very good there. Food in dinning room very good and clean.

  • The hotel was very nice, located in a very safe part of the city with restaurants and a subway stop only minutes away. The room was comfortable, the staff very nice.My only complaint is the pool services. For such a large hotel youd expect they could keep it open a little longer but on Friday it closed at 10:00 and Saturday by 7:00. So we actually never got to use it and after days of serious walking it would have been really nice to cool off in.

  • The hotel was very nice, located in a very safe part of the city with restaurants and a subway stop only minutes away. The room was comfortable, the staff very nice.My only complaint is the pool services.   • I was very pleased with this Marriot. The subway is just across the street so I would jump on the 2 or 3 line and be in Manhattan 2 stops later. Very quick! The hotal was huge and quiet. The room was clean and the beds were AWESOME! I slept like a log all 4 nights. The check-in and check out were super smooth. I asked for a taxi to the airport(LaGuardia) and the Doorman suggested I take the car service out front at $30 dollars as it was cheaper. He was right. I spent $40 on the cab to the hotel when I flew in. The neighborhood felt secure even as I returned sometimes close to Midnight from the theater. Lots of people around. Im planning on staying there again in a few months.

  • This was a terrific hotel! It was in great, convenient, safe location. Hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. Subway stop with easy connections to almost anywhere youd want to go was right across the street. Montague St, with lots of great restaurants is just a block away.

  • My wife and I loved the hotel. Easy walk to the Subway. Great food in the area. We spent most of our time on Montaque St. at Eamons. Great burgers and a really great bartender Brien, we will comming back hopefully in Sep.

  • It was a nice hotel. I do not agree with the parking. If people are going to pay almost $* to stay there parking should be free.

  • This hotel was perfect! We went away for a romantic weekend for my wifes birthday and found it very convenient to everything in brooklyn and manhattan! We walked and traveled by subway exclusively and had no problems. We ordered roomservice after midnight on a saturday night and it arrived hot, fresh and delicious! Food was expensive, but roomservice always is. We had the most comfortable bed weve ever slept in. It was quiet and clean and the room was huge! Concierge was helpful and pleasant and even called around to indian restaraunts to see if anyone could deliver for us! The only bummer for us was a 5$ charge to have any toiletries etc. brought up to the room.We will come back here again and again!!

  • Checked into the Marriott exhausted and was immediately refreshed by the attentive service at the front desk which was extended throughout our stay whenever I requested assistance from an employee. Things that stood out: The reservation staff when we missed our flight and had late checkin; held our room and prechecked us in so we would still have accommodations when we arrived; C and S at the front desk gave us personalized, attentive service that effortlessly changed a single King into a double and made recommendations that made our stay more enjoyable and restful; M at the front door who saw to our welfare and safety by arranging private car transfers for us and instructing the drivers not to scare us to death and who also got lemons on a silver tray for my daughters throat at 6am when the dining rooms were all closed; staff in the bar who kindly served us dinner at 1am despite being officially closed; overall cleanliness of the hotel, wonderful comfortable beds with nice linens; quiet, Quiet! No noise in the hallways or adjoining rooms so we actually slept well all night; unobtrusive and efficient room service kept us well stocked with Bath and Body products; sercurity in sight throughout the hotel; and being greeted whenever we returned by staff at front door in a friendly yet professional manner. All our business was on the upper west side and a 20 minute drive by car. I much prefer the cleanliness and spaciousness of the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge to the properties we saw in Midtown and Upper West side. We felt very safe walking at night in the neighborhood and will stay here again when we return to the city.
