  • Myself and my two Children stayed in this wonderful hotel for 5 nights it was a pleasure.We could not find a fault with it. It was in walking distance to everythin. Rockerfella center was just Around the corner Broadway was in walking distance. I choose this hotel from reviews I read on this page and everyone had good comments to say.The staff were excelent the whole experence was so relaxing for us. I have told my friends and family to use this hotel and time they stay in New York. The Bell Hop Samuel was such a Pleasant man

  • A perfect location to stay and see the sights. The hotel was very clean, very courteous, staffed well and very informative. Frest fruit everyday. Hot breakfast every morning. The room was very clean and adequate. Maids were very sweet. I would definately stay here again as it was located in just the perfect spot. You could go out your door and go up and down very easily. The theatres were close to walk to.and Central Park was also close that you could easily walk there. If you wanted to use the subway, it was just across the street. All the tram touring busses were across the street and down 1/4 block. We didnt hear any traffic from our room which I hear people say was bothersome to them. I would highly recommend this perfectly located hotel.

  • Our stay was wonderful!! We did not realize how close we were to everything involving the action of New York until we stepped outside. We saved so much cab fare staying so close. The hotel was so clean and we enjoyed the breakfast everyday. We would load up on food in the morning and head out for the day. The hotel was so close, we could return to the hotel for a break before we headed out again. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a great place to stay.

  • Our stay was wonderful!! We did not realize how close we were to everything involving the action of New York until we stepped outside. We saved so much cab fare staying so close. The hotel was so clean and we enjoyed the breakfast everyday. We would load up on food in the morning and head out for the day. The hotel was so close, we could return to the hotel for a break before we headed out again. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a great place to stay.

  • This location is awesome, near Times Square, only a few blocks from Central Park - quick to get on the subway to museums or down to Battery Park. Very convenient and great restaurants within walking distance too!! We would definitely stay here again -- lovely hotel, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. My daughter and I were there and we both felt very safe and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this hotel!

  • For our major family trip to New York, we insisted on a clean neat hotel within close proximity to the action. This hotel meet that criteria. The room was clean and tidy. Reception/staff were very helpful and always smiling. Breakfast, while not ""tiffanys"", filled the gap with plenty of fruit, toast, cereals and juices. The hotel has nice personal touches such as freshly baked cookies M-F around 3pm, free breakfast packs for breaky on the run, self-serve hot chocolate/tea/coffeeWhile a little pricey, i really recommend this hotel

  • Booked this hotel online not knowing what I would be getting. I couldnt have been more pleased.The location is ideal, close to the theaters and subway,found many restaurants well within walking distance. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Our room had two queen beds which were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We were quite close to the elevator which we definitely could hear, but very quickly got used to the sound and didnt mind at all. Never once did we hear any street noise. The complimentary breakfast alone is worth the stay, plenty of variiety, the staff was always friendly and really kept on top of things as far as keeping the food replenished and cleaning up. If I ever get back to New York, I definitely will be stayihg in thiis hotel.

  • Its getting really hard to finding anything affordable in Manhattan, but this was a really good deal for the price--comfortable room, free breakfast, and courteous service. At night a staffer stood by the elevator asking for ID--a nice extra security touch you dont get at every place. And the location! Since we had tickets to several shows being able to walk to the Theater District was a boon. Subway stations and many dining options in Hells Kitchen are a short walk away as well. Highly recommended.

  • We 5 siblings took our 72 year-old mother for her first New York trip. The Hampton Inn was excellent. The location was perfect for access to tour bus, subway, theatres, and dining. The hotel was what we expected from a Hampton Inn. Clean, safe, friendly, efficient. The same Hampton hotel you would find in any city or suburb. It is also one of the more reasonably priced hotels in Times Square. When I return to New York, I will certainly stay here. (There are several excellent small restaurants as you circle the block on which the Hampton Inn sits.)

  • This hotel is in the pefect location. Brought my mother and aunt to NY for their first time. They have a hard time walking far distances, which you tend to do a lot of in NY. This hotel is just steps from all of the theatres, Central Park, Times Square, etc... Subway stop across the street. Greyline Bus Tour office located one block away. Rooms were BIG for NY. Very clean. Had 2 queen sized beds, which is rare in NY. All rooms were renovated in 2007/2008 and include new duvet bedding and nice pillows. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well. A hot breakfast is included in the room price...GREAT value and makes up for the fact that this hotel might be priced a little higher than some others. The convenience of inexpensive on-site parking and free breakfast make this the perfect hotel. This will be our first pick for the next trip to NY.

  • This was a great hotel!!! The room was very large and the bed one of the most comfortable ever. Location was perfect. Full buffet breakfast was great each morning and free coffee and tea 24hrs was also a plus. The icecream truck at the corner has the best soft serve ever! Avoid diner across the street!! Go down to Little Italy for the best Italian food ever at great prices!!

The Hampton Inn had large rooms that were clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff were very friendly and willing to provide anything needed. The front desk staff answered all questions and really helped my wife and I get around the city. Breakfast was very good and being included in the price was just great. As you will learn, NYC is not cheap in any area. However, this hotel and location could not have been any greater. I highly recommend it to anyone going to the city. The hotel was remodeled recently and it shows. Again, it was close to the Theaters, Sight-Seeing buses, and ""bright-lights"" of Times Square. I would stay there again without any second thoughts.

  • First trip to New York and very pleased with my stay here. Very close to Times Square. Probably the best parts were hot breakfast and large, comfortable rooms. The employees were very friendly and very helpful.

  • Hotel was close to all the plays and Times Square. Breakfast was good. Liked the fact that we could get two Queen Beds instead of two Doubles. Clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

  • Great location. Great room. Great service! Everthig is within walking distance. The subway staion, broadway, times sqaure are all within reach in minutes. Dont forget to go to Cosmic Diner, prices and food were great there.

  • We come to NYC fairly often, Probably 20 trips in 15 years. We usually stay at a nice little place on the Upper West Side, but wanted to be mid-town as we went to see Les Paul at the Iridium Club half a block away. This hotel will now be the only place we stay in NYC!! I am amazed at the value and quality, coupled with the curteous staff! The room was giant for any city, let alone, New York!! It was clean and well maintained! It is very easy to get to from the turnpike, out of the Holland Tunnel, left on eighth ave and up to 51st on the left. This hotel is close to everything!! Enough restaurants to please anyone, including Pizza, Thai and Brazilian food very close by. Skip the breakfast. No need to stand in a long line for a bagel when $15.00 bucks will get you a very nice breakfast and dining experience nearby.... I took a five mile run in Central Park on Christmas morning. Its only a few blocks north past Columbus Circle! I stopped by the exercise room to stretch a little after run. There are a few decent machines, but really, dont waste your time inside when youre in New York. New York is all about being outside!

  • There were 6 of us girls that came to NY for fun and shopping. This hotel puts you right where you want to be. Close to subways (right across the street) and the theater district. Went to see ""Hairspray"" and it was less than a block away. The beds are soooo comfy. R%ooms with 2 queen beds were large enough for 4 of us late sleepers and all of our stuff. The only negative thing was the carpet could have used a shampoo in our room. Other than that the hotel staff,free breakfast. location, etc is wonderful. Will stay there again and just keep my socks on.

  • This was our second visit to this hotel and it is a great location in NYC-within walking distance of alot of attractions. Great service, rooms, etc...Our only disappointment was finding out we would not receive any perk points for our trip since we paid thru Travelocity. So despite our satisfaction with the trip, we wouldnt book flights & hotel together in the future.

  • Excellent Place to Stay: My husband and one of my grandchildren (8 y) stayed in this hotel- Hampton Inn Manhattan time sq. Rooms are confortable, great size and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, variable, and a lot to eat. Staff is very quick to help and assist us with any needs. Great price, AARP. Great location one block from subway, close to Broadway shows and Times Square. Centrally located. We will come back. Very, very good experience. Highly recommend for family and all.We give 5 (five) starts.

  • After staying in many Manhattan hotels, we were EXTREMELY impressed from the second we walked in the door. Everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. The room was huge compared to most NYC rooms, perfectly spotless, and a perfect location. Would stay here again in a heartbeat...it was such a treasure compared to other hotels. The price was reasonable, parking directly next door with the parking being only $50 for 2 days !

  • I was worried about not booking a ""fancier hotel"" for the New York Times Square area. As it turns out, I couldnt have been happier with our selection! I read many reviews prior to booking that said this was a great place to stay. I completely agree. The location was awesome... subway right across the street or one block over. One block off Broadway. Right near to the Gershwin Theater (Wicked). We walked EVERYWHERE from here.The free breakfast was a definite perk since this was a family vacation.... saved time and money. Breakfast (the best that I can recall) consisted of a couple of hot items plus cereals, bagels, toast, pastries, yogurt and fruit. Coffee pots were in the room, but it was just as easy to run to the lobby and grab a cup of coffee at any time. The kids (and I) loved the hot chocolate that was always available when we came in from the cold weather. The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfy, iron & ironing board in the room, safe, and coffee pot. Nice TV. We didnt spend tons of time in the room, but I couldnt have been happier with the quality. I did notice when researching hotels, that this was one of the few locations that had 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles. That was one of my deciding factors in selecting this hotel. Staff was great and very helpful. Final Verdict - 2 thumbs up!!!! Oh - and be sure and check out Rays pizza across the street. It was the best pizza Ive ever had.
