- First room looked like someone just got out of the bed. Half empty glass on night stand and dark curly hairs on pillow and tousled sheets. Creepy. Next room very small, but better. They charged extra $10/day to use Internet without my approval. They would not refund. Crooked garage around the block lied about the charges. We stayed Sunday morning to Tuesday morning. We were told Sunday was $10 then $12 for every 12 hours. 2 day bill was $96 and no one could produce itemized bill or explain how they came up with that number. I would not pay more than $200 for this hotel, especially since its still being renovated.

- We loved our stay at the Parker House. It is centrally located and an easy walk to the Park St.""T"", Boston Common, Quincy Market & waterfront and South Station. The hotel has an age old charm with friendly and very helpful staff. Our 7th floor corner room was quiet, clean, spacious, and had a view of the Old City Hall. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The restaurants served delicious and reasonably priced food. We will definitely stay there again.

- The Parker Hotel was home to several famous guest, including Charles Dickens. Even if you are not famous, you might want to stay here. You can walk to the Common, to downtown crossing, and even to Fanueil Hall with no problem. My room was a bit noisy, due to street noise, but that was my only negative reaction to it. The price with a package deal was good. The service at the desk was excellent.

- We had a wonderful experience here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled up to the curb! The valet and bell hops were extremely friendly and the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I just cant say enough good things about our experience at this hotel! We ate in the restaurant the first evening and the food and service were great. We would come back in a heart beat... what a great location, too!

- The Omni Parker was a wonderful hotel. It has the best location in Boston, right on the Freedom trail, and 2 blocks the subway. You are walking distance from everywhere downtown. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable to things to do in the area, and the best days to do certain activities. They help you get tickets to great shows, make sure you know exactly where you are going. The hotel itself is wonderfully renovated. It has very rustic beauty, with a modern touch. The beds were comfortable and plush and the shower had great water pressure. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

- We loved staying at the Omni Parker House. We picked this location because of the 3 night deluxe king offer and also because of the reviews we read on your website. The beds are absolutely heavenly. We ate in two of the three restaurants and they were delicious, loaded with atmosphere. Old world feel about the place. Location, location, location! We just stepped out of the door and we were on the Freedom Trail. It was a 12 min walk to the ocean, and within 15 minutes to almost all of the historic sites.

- The Boston Parker Omni was the best location we could have had on our first trip to Boston. WE are already talking of going back, taking our children with families and definately staying at the Omni. It was ON THE FREEDOM TRAIL, 1/2 block from boston common, 1/2 block from downtoin crossing. , less than a block from subway, a few short blocks to Quincy market and Fanuil hall. We had so much fun and the staff helped navigate us anywhere we were going. WE arrived earlier than check in, they stored our bags and when we came back to leave our jackets in a half hour our room was ready. They were very accomodating. The front desk was professional and courteous every time we called. They delivered 2 drinks free every morning because we signed up for their special status. IT was all bran new, bedding, carpet, newly remodeled Plush beds. great stay

- The location of this hotel is extremely convienent for downtown boston. The rooms were much smaller than I expected. We are a family of 4 and the room was very cramped for all of us. We had a lot of trouble using the hotel internet from the lobby. The hotel promised a rolling suitcase with games and puzzles for the kids but they could never produce it when we asked. My children are ages 10 and 7 so it wasnt such a big deal but if you stay here with kids, ask a lot of questions first.

- We booked a double and checked ahead with the hotel to be sure of the bedding. When we arrived, we were told that bedding could not be arranged ahead of time!! I slept on a lumpy cot for 4 nights. I was told that because I had a ""special rate"" ($250 per night), they could not give me choice of bedding and would not inconvenience other guests by changing their reservations. Front desk staff turned me down for every request, including frequent flier miles which we were guaranteed by joining their preferred customer club ahead of our stay. I gather that if you dont book directly with the hotel, you go to the bottom of the list. Needless to say, I did not feel valued as a customer. Beware of booking with this hotel unless you call them directly for the reservations and you pay top price. Dont even bother joining their club.

- Beautiful old world hotel, complete with extremely friendly and helpful staff; however, showing its age. While our room was lovely, the curtains were dusty and would not close so that we could block out the light. Frankly, they could have used a good cleaning. The beds were nicely made up, but the bed skirt on our bed was completely stained with spilled coffee. The carpet was stained too, and was torn up. Our air/heating unit was on the fritz. My sister-in-laws room had a trick toilet that kept overflowing. We had a full length mirror, but she did not. This is not an inexpensive hotel, and I feel that it should be better maintained, given the cost.

- This is hands down one of the nicest hotels Ive ever stayed in. Between the history of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff, to the incredible food in the Parker House restaurant, it was well worth the $$$... Now while not a ""budget"" hotel, I was able to get a room for 2 nights for almost 40% less than the Hilton Garden Inn outside of town. Walking the Freedom Trail and knowing the history of the hotel is a must for anyone.. One big tip.. as stated in other reviews, the cost of parking is ""insane"" at $39 per night and if youre checking in before 2PM, itll run $59 for the first night and checking out after 2PM, $59 for the last night.. There is a parking garage a block away thatll get that down to ~$20 per day or $12 for just the night (if youre traveling to and from a work site like I was).. Its a block walk, but well worth the price difference.. From Ulysses S. Grant to ""Dubya"", every president has stayed in this hotel.. Yes, the rooms can be quite small, but thats to be expected for a hotel that was built in 1855..Food was top notch in the restaurant. Best New England Clam Chowder I had ever eaten.. Just down the street from ""everything""Ill be staying here again next time Im in Boston..

- We noticed that this hotel has alot of history featured before arriving but being there really put it all into perspective. This is the most genuine historic exeperience of American history that we can not only learn but feel and touch first hand. What a gem for America and Boston that is preserved for generations. We had all the comforts of a luxury hotel but a real deal with the best location to see what Boston has to offer. We especially liked the Breakfast,Concerige Services,Beds to die for and how could we forget the Boston Creme Pie for desert which the hotel actually invented. We enjoyed our trip to Boston and found that the Omni provided the best value and personal experience that we can remember for quite some time. We will stay again as there is so much in Boston to see. Planning to return to see the Red sox as the hotel has a package with tickets and we look foward to seeing more.

The room wasnt cleaned until the 3rd day of our vacation and we had no desk but were promised one. This is just a few things. But the beds are very comfortable

- The hotel is going through renovation. The entry carpet and furniture is in need of replacement. It has a dingy atmosphere in the lobby. When you enter the hallway of your floor, it is not air conditioned and the walls are in need of paint. You have to keep telling yourself that this hotel is over 150 years old. We got a good price on our room, only to find out why. We got the standard room. The standard room has a large bathroom, which is nice because there isnt any where else to put your keys or wallet down in the room because this room isnt much bigger than the full size bed in the corner. The bed takes up most of the room. The only other furniture is a chair next to the corner TV stand and a night stand that is about half the size of one at super 8. The phone and light take up the rest of the room on the night stand. In the early evening to the early morning, there are lots and lots of transients that are bumming for money just about a block to the East toward the Quincy Market. On a good note, Quincy Market is awesome, just go North for two or three blocks before taking a right and heading toward the Market in the Morning or Evening. They are gone during the day.

On a good note, Quincy Market is awesome, just go North for two or three blocks before taking a right and heading toward the Market in the Morning or Evening. They are gone during the day.

- I was there to visit my step-daughter who is going to BU. We had dinner in the more formal restaurant in the hotel and she said it was the best filet mignon she has ever had...and let me tell you she has had many! The hotel service was great! Centrally located and only 1 1/2 blocks from the "T" (metro tranportation)

- We stayed at the Omni for 4 nights and loved it. The staff was courteous and helpful. We were upgraded to a nicer room than we had originally reserved and had a great view of the Boston skyline. Parkers bar is a great place to unwind and have a drink and the food in the restaurants was very good. Youre in the middle of historic Boston so within walking distance of most sights or the T. Great Place to stay and well be back!

- The hotel is old...and I understand that...We are not used to that small ( tiny) room. When we go there, the hotel was over bocked...I pay for a bigger room, and they put us in a small room because that all they have. They offer to change us to a bigger room two days later...I did npt know what to do because we already paid for...I only like the location. Also, the hotel was cover with a mosquito cover , ALL outside the hotel...was ugly ( some kind of constrution done outside the hotel)

- Beautiful old (restored) hotel in excellent location. Step outside and you are on the Freedom Trail. Subway just a few blocks down. You can walk to just about everything you want to see in the area (Fannueil Hall, Pubs, Wharf, North End, even Fenway if youre up for the trek along Newbury Ave.) The beds are incredible!!! So soft and marshmallowy that you fall asleep immediately as your head hits the pillow. The staff was so friendly and accomodating all around. I would stay here again and recommend it highly!!!

- This hotel is near the city center, so everything is within a short walk (6 blocks to Boston Common; 2 blocks to Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market; 6 blocks to harbor or Boston Garden (sports), and about a half mile to Science Museum). ""T"" stations are nearby, as well as lots of coffee/doughnut/bagel shops (and a huge Borders bookstore).Pleasant, helpful staff at Front Desk and Concierge.Rooms are QUITE SMALL - but, hey, all we did there was sleep (etc).Definitely recommend this place for the active tourist

- My family and I stayed here because we were in town for a wedding. I travel quite a bit and I have to say that this hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The doorman was rude, every time I asked for something from the concierge they could not accomodate me nor did they try to accomodate me. The hotel was under construction and there was a man on a scaffold who could look directly in to the room. The closets had a very musty odor and as a result the clothes I wore to the wedding stunk horribly. I called and complained to the hotel and I received a voicemail from the manager saying he was sorry and the doormans behavior was not how Omni Parker wants their guests to feel. All in all it was a costly lesson and I would not stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone. There are a lot nicer places to stay in Boston for the same money.

- My husband and I were in Boston on business. The room was very nice walk-in closet! I cant deny that the hotel was clean and updated nicely, but the rooms were too small. We even changed rooms 3 times trying to find a larger room. No luck! Maybe 1 person would be ok, but 2 people cant enjoy this room!

- The hotel was amazing and the staff was fantasic. The room was a bit small, however our view overlooked the original Boston City Hall. The staff was incredibly attentive, our room was clean, and they were always willing to give directions, grab a cab, or find a place for us to eat or visit. The location is amazing, its right on the Freedom Trail, we were able to walk to pretty much everywhere we wanted to visit. Highly reccommended!

- The location was great, but the hotel was overpriced and didnt offer any amenities. For almost $* a night we expect at least a decent sized room. What we recieved is full size bed (for me, my 63 husband and our 3 mo. old baby!), a bathroom not big enought for us to both brush our teeth at the same time and the room service was horrible. The boston cream pie was supposedly invented there so we had to try it. Two (very) small pieces cost us $25 and was worse than your average supermarket sells. We had breakfast the next morning (for $60) and it was cold and greasy. If you stay here dont eat here! Besides that there were no amenities, not even Wi-Fi in the rooms and parking is an extra $40 bucks per night (plus tips for the valets). I felt like we shelled out alot of money to stay in a closet sized room where my husband couldnt even sleep with his feet on the bed.

- Right smack in center of all Boston attractions. Walk out the door and be on the Freedom Trail. Couple blocks from Boston Common, Quincy Market, Charles River, Boston Harbor. Its perfect for walking all over downtown areas. No taxi or rental car needed if your seeing the sights downtown. Room was very clean, service was wonderful, beds were comfy, staff was friendly. A great stay for my family. Smaller rooms, but was plenty of space for my family of three.
