  • Pros: Excellent Location, Extremely helpful and friendly staff, Comfy beds. Cons: VERY SMALL ROOMS!!! Paper thin walls (can hear everything), tiny bathroom with paint peeling off ceiling above tub/shower. We had 2 adults and 2 children on our trip. We had to crawl over one of the beds to get to the bathroom and out the door. There is a useless built in desk that gets in the way of looking out the window (have to crawl up and sit on it to look outside). Charge way too much money for that tiny of a room. Television was fuzzy. Called front desk and it was fixed immediately.

  • This is a very nice hotel and the staff was excellent. Courteous and professional. For the rate we paid the room was a bit of a dissappointment yet it was less than other hotels at this time of year.   • This is a very nice hotel and the staff was excellent. Courteous and professional. For the rate we paid the room was a bit of a dissappointment yet it was less than other hotels at this time of year. Still, they need to attend to their rooms a bit more- bathroom especially was dated and looked like it hadnt been updated in some time. Otherwise, great location, walking distance to the Broadway and very comfortable bed.

  • For the price it just wasnt worth it. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely small and the beds are really bad and too soft. The rooms and bathrooms were not very clean. Beyond that the service was decent and the location was good but I was very disappointed with the rooms.

  • The hotel was in an ideal location in midtown. The subway was right outside and easy to get anywhere in NYC. Great restaurants and bar within walking distance. This is a very clean hotel with helpful staff. Will certainly stay here again when returning to New York!

  • Very big hotel in the heart of Manhattan. A short walk to Times Square and 5th Avenue. We had very good views from our 40th floor room. The rooms aren?t very big but they are very clean and with free coffee, water and newspaper everyday. Good service and personal very kind.Would stay there again if i am travelling to New York.

  • My wife decided to take a spur of the moment spring-break trip to New York. Neither one of us had ever been to the city. We wanted to make sure we stayed in a good area at a good price. This hotel had everything we were looking for. Very close to Time Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Broadway. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a wifi issue and they went out of there way to resolve it. The only complaint I have is with the parking fee, but its New York and you have to pay it everywhere. I look forward to our next trip to NYC and we will stay at this hotel again.

Charge way too much money for a room that small. The beds are comfortable though. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in the tiny bathroom above the tub/shower.

The reasons the staff gave me about that were simply ridicolous. I was very disgusted by that. The quality of my room and bathroom fornitures were old and poor.... not to mention the tv set...   • It was the first hotel that I have ever stayed at that charged to gain access to the Internet ($32.00/hour). I was shocked that a hotel of this caliber would do so. I have stayed at hotels all over the country, and they always provided free computer accessin the hotel lobby. This hotel had a HUGE Business Center with multiple computers. I neversaw anyone using the computers.They also charged you to print your Boarding Pass, after allowing you free accessto a computer in the lobby. Once you went to the Business Center to retireve the copy, you weretold it would cost $1.00.I would prefer they ""hide"" the charge in the room rate, and let me think these amenities were free.

  • I would stay at this hotel again. I was on business and stayed only for one night, but it was very comfortable. The bed was awesome and the location (being originally from NY) was in the heart of the city practically. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

  • We expected to hear some of the sounds of NYC in our room, but NOT the neighbors crying baby and late night/early morning teenage partyers! Surprisingly, the city noises were not that bad, but the neighbors were. The room walls seemed paper thin, and the hotel staff was not helpful about doing anything about the noise. We didnt sleep much either night of our stay, and wont be back, even though its a great location and hotel!

  • If all you need a room for is to sleep this is the place for you. There is nowhere to sit except one small desk chair. Gaping hole where the refrigerator should be but costs extra!! Staff is nice but no one could find me an envelope. The business center was having ""computer issues"" and the ATM machines were not working while I was there. Clean, Yes, Attractive Yes, View Nice, Location Great. Can do better for the money.

  • We had an overall great stay in this hotel. Front desk and the rest of the staff was very friendly. We were given a std. room on the 33rd floor which was great, because it was high enough up so that the street noise wasnt too much of a problem. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious (for nyc) and clean. The lobby has computers and free internet access as well - which was great. The best part was the location. Youre about 4 blocks north from Times Square and 4 blocks south from Central Park. So perfect walking distance either way you go. You do NOT want to be staying right smack in the middle of Times Square! We went during the slow season and it was still Sensory Overload 24/7 -- so, unless thats your thing...The only thing I would not do at this hotel is their daily breakfast brunch.They charge you $35 / person. Lonis / Loris restaurant next door was expensive too.For 1 bagel + 1 muffin and 2 coffees = $30.00.Not to be a cheapskate or anything, but its an obvious tourist trap when you can -literally- just cross the street and get the same thing, at the many cafes, for less than half the price.Overall, would definitely come back and stay at this hotel.

  • When we arrived at the hotel, check in was quick n easy. Went to the room on the 24th floor. It was very lovely. Clean, neat, extremely comfy beds. Air conditioning froze me a bit at night, but I slept pretty well. Staff friendly, from reception desk to security by elevators. Hotel is at a great location in the Manhattan/Time Square area. They had always answered all my questions. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, whom enjoys comfort and great hospitality.

Air conditioning froze me a bit at night, but I slept pretty well. Staff friendly, from reception desk to security by elevators. Hotel is at a great location in the Manhattan/Time Square area. They had always answered all my questions. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, whom enjoys comfort and great hospitality.

  • I stayed at the hotel the week of christmas. The lobby was decorated beautifully and I was welcomed by friendly staff. I was originally given a room that smelled of smoke, and returned immediately to the front desk to request a new room. They were generous and apologetic and gave me a room with a view (since I was a starwood guest). The room wasnt as described and I felt that it was a bit small compared to the other hotels in the area (I have been to NY a few times). Room service is TOO PRICEY!!! I highly recommend eating elsewhere while staying at this hotel. The location is perfect and all sites are within walking distance of the hotel.Be prepared to carry baggage up a few stairs as there is no ramp in front of the lobby to wheel luggage. I found that a bit of a hassel as everyone was pulling their luggage up and down the stairs in front of the hotel. Also, there is a constant gathering of smokers outside the front lobby, so for those that dont like (dont inhale as you approach the hotel!)Overall great service, GREAT location, beautiful hotel, rooms are a bit small, and somewhat pricey.

The plumbing backed up in our bathtub, but the maintenance staff responded quickly and resolved the situation. The lobby is bustling and fun too. Dont visit Libbys diner next door....too expensive, plain food.

  • This hotel looks great in the photos but the rooms are extremely small and WOW, the floors are dirty. The AC unit was incredibly dirty. I had to clean it myself. The furniture is worn and appears old and the bathrooms are also aged and dirty. This hotel could use some remodeling and definite improvements in the decor. The staff is friendly and apologetic for the unclean room. They did credit me for a portion of my stay out of embarrasment.The fitness room was nice and the location was great!
