  • Friendly folks in an econo setting. This hotel is EAST of I-4, on the North side of US 192, and very near Disney. Map Quest will have you looking on the South side of US 192, West of the Disney Entrance. Rodeway is toward Old Town, but only one or two lights in. Just past Arabian Nights. The lobby is in a building with a sovenier shop. There was a fridge in our room, even though the specs didn't say so. Breakfast is blueberry and banana bread, juice and coffee. There is a welcome packet and a Dollar Rent a Car place in the lobby.

  • Friendly folks in an econo setting. This hotel is EAST of I-4, on the North side of US 192, and very near Disney.   • I had made my reservations through AARP. Which I guess the Hotel wanted to make up for the money they lost. My daughter and her children checked in and the employee wanted $20 cash from her because she didnt have the credit card that placed the order for the rooms...Which they should not have known anyway. I called after she checked out and wanted to book one more day because we didnt have time to look for another hotel and book somewhere else. I had to fax over all my credit card information and they charged me $43 even though they said they were going to charge me $36. When my daughter checked out, they said they credited my account for $20 for the cash they required. They never credited my account. Someone needed extra money.

  • My family lives in Florida and spends alot of time visiting Orlando. Most the time we stay there in hotels, so when I say this is the worst hotel ever, I MEAN IT!! When I booked the room I realized I was most likely going to get what I paid for, but I had NO idea it would be this bad! Before I even steped into the room I could smell the mold in the A/C... thank God it was nice out so I didnt have to run it. Once I got into the room the first thing I noticed that it was VERY small and the beds were too! I had a party of 3 adults and a 2 year old and we had to order a cot! To actully fit the cot in, we had to move the chairs and table in the room to the bathroom/ vanity area, blocking the bathroom door. We also had to block the front door with the cot becuase of the A/C unit. Mind you by our selfs with not even an offer of help from the staff. Forgeting all that the bathroom was worn out, Im honestly surprised the tile held to the walls and the toilet flushed. Despite not having to run the molded A/C the room still had a horrible smell. The beds were made with a flat sheet on the bottom so if you rolled over youre sleeping on the mattress, that I can only guess is older than me. I was to afraid to even look at the sheets, although they did smell like they had just been cleaned, which is the only reason we didnt pack up and leave, even though half my party barely spoke all night they were so angry!

  • Our stay itself was pleasant enough and the room was okay for the money. But the hotel advertises for a free continential breakfast, a mini refrigerator in the room, and free internet access. None of those were actually true. We came down to get the ""free continental breakfast"" about fifteen minutes before the scheduled allowed time would expire and the staff was very nasty about the whole thing and kept hissing that the breakfast station was closed. Not having anything the previous night we grabbed the tiny loaf that they had yet to put away and left to go down the street for breakfast. Also there was no refrigerator in our room at all and when we asked the desk about it they just shrugged thier shoulders and looked away. For internet access may I suggest that you bring your own comuter. There is no computer in the lobby and when you ask the front desk they say, ""We have no internet access, but you can go next door to use thiers."" (By the way thats a charge of $5 for fifteen minutes next door). The maid did clean the room everyday but I wonder how well as there were dead ""love"" bugs on the wall the entire time we were there. At the end when we were checking out they charged a miscellaneous fee that I asked them to explain as we had prepaid for our stay of 10 days ahead of our arrival. The lady would not tell me and just said as she shrugged, ""Its a miscellaneous charge."" A $* miscellaneous charge. The hotel is really close to everything and in a good location but just be aware!!We did swim in the pool and had a great time; FYI it is without a lifeguard.

  • What a horrible experience!!! We were first given the wrong room upon arrival, not the deluxe room with microfridge. We were moved to another room with a fridge that didnt work and had dead roaches inside. The carpet was wet and had a terrible odor. We was moved to a third room with the same odor. By then, we were too tired to move again and with the no refund policy we opted to stay. The staff was nice and helpful and could only offer what was available in this dump of a hotel. Please save yourself the effort and spend the extra money to stay somewhere else....

  • The location was great.The service was okay.The worst part of my experience was the room, the bed was stiff and I was getting bit by bugs. The remote in the room didnt work and the bathroom fan was so loud I couldnt hear myself think. Overall, I would never stay there again. Lesson learned.

  • The proximity to Disney was wonderful, the landscaping lush and kept...But the room left a lot to be desired. The bath surround had two gaping holes, the drain was covered with a """"screen"""" - I woke up with ants in my bed and had a TV that would not turn on -front desk said they could send someone tomorrow to look at it! Continental breakfast was great coffee and stale cakes. Had a micro/fridge but could not use microwave becuase it was unplugged and the only outlet was behind the TV armoire that could not be reached - also charged additional charges at hotel for """"resort fees""""

  • This hotel is crawling with problems literally. I had to change rooms 3 times first because the door lock did not work, and then the top of the door could be pushed in with your hand with very little effort. The third thing took the cake when i was awaken from getting bitten by BEDBUGS!! The water also goes from hot to cold then back to scolding hot without ever touching the knob. I have a 3 year old daughter and that does not sit well with me. Then when i made them put me in another hotel next door a howard x, which is owned by them as well i had to pay a $1*upgrade fee. This hotel is awefull and if you know what is good for you you would not book there.

I had to change rooms 3 times first because the door lock did not work, and then the top of the door could be pushed in with your hand with very little effort. The third thing took the cake when i was awaken from getting bitten by BEDBUGS!! The water also goes from hot to cold then back to scolding hot without ever touching the knob.   • THIS HOTEL IS OK, THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT, JUST AT TEN MINUTES FROM THE PARKS. ALL KIND OF RESTAURANTS AROUND.ONLY $$ BY NIGHT. MY ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THEY HAVE A SUBCHARGE OF $ DAILY WHEN YOU GET THERE. ALSO IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO RENT A CAR IN ORLANDO, RENT A GPS SYSTEM TOO, YOU WILL REMEMBER ME. :)

  • We decided to add another day to our vacation so we wanted a cheap room. The room was clean. The hotel is right in the middle of Kissimmees main street. We walked to a near by resturant from the hotel. You can only see the front lobby from the road. Therest of the hotel is off the road behind the front lobby. The pool is as shown on the photos. Not bad for the price.

  • The rooms we got were clean, the pool was very clean and sparkling. Hardly anyone in there and it was plenty big. No slide or extras like that but they were not needed for us. The beds were less comfortable than I would have preferred but after a day in the parks, we didnt notice too much. Coffeemaker in room didnt work right but maintenance had a slip ready for it when we left the next day. The tv was larger than you get in some Disney hotels and this place was much quieter! Saw a reviewer who said the receptionist was very unfriendly-well, we got there at shift change and both our receptionists were super friendly! Not a single problem there. IHop and Waffle House within walking distance-even to super tired park feet. Some of the rooms have mini fridges and micros so if thats important to you, ask for one of those. Even with too hard bed, we would stay there again.

  • Not really withing walking distance to parks! """"Free breakfast"""" was pre-wrapped stale muffins, coffee and orange juice. The """"handicapped-accessible"""" room had a large bathroom but no hand rails to get off the toilet or the tub. The place is getting run down and dirty and doesnt look like the beautiful pictures on the web site, but it serves its purpose as a cheap a place to crash when you get home from a long day in the parks.

  • Not really withing walking distance to parks! """"Free breakfast"""" was pre-wrapped stale muffins, coffee and orange juice. The """"handicapped-accessible"""" room had a large bathroom but no hand rails to get off the toilet or the tub. The place is getting run down and dirty and doesnt look like the beautiful pictures on the web site, but it serves its purpose as a cheap a place to crash when you get home from a long day in the parks.

  • the rooms were clean and service was wonderful. Will return next year with family. Continental breakfast needs alot of help.

  • It is really close to Disney and very cheap! There was nothing luxurious about the hotel, but it was perfect and much cheaper to spend the night while going to Disney. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We had no problems.

  • we were hesitate about this hotel, but we were very pleased. The staff was always working on the premises. The pool was well maintained. For the price we paid, the location, staff, and the condition of the rooms were well worth it. Would stay there again.

  • Great Hotel for the $. Cheap. Close to Disney. Close to Old Towne. Lots to do. Clean. Very nice at the counter. Added another day while we were there at only $2 more per night. Perfect for Orlando Disney Goers! Will definetly stay again.

  • After reading the reviews on this hotel I packed accordingly. ALL food and food products were in zip loc bags. Anything ants could get in was put is plastic grocery store bags and hung on hangers. We did not feed the ants. for the price great hotel would stay again.

  • You get what you pay. Not a bad deal for the money you pay. I accidentally put the Do Not Disturb sign when I left to spend the day outside. Ofcourse the room wasnt made when I came back at night. I called the front desk and asked for some clean towels,coffee . They sent it promptly.

  • This hotel was fine for the money. The pool is open until 12 midnight, which was great, although no lifeguard is on duty, its swim at you own risk. The staff was great, very friendly. My daughter accidentally left her stuffed dog there, and they found it and were able to ship it back to us, which I thought was great. I worried that they would loose it or something, but they didnt.My only complaint is the Continental Breakfast...there really isnt one. (Barely). It consisted of mini donuts in the packages of 4, orange juice, and coffee, and thats it. No ceral, no muffins, nothing. But the all you can eat Ponderosa Breakfast Buffet for $* made up for it! That was great.

  • The pictures that the travel website has posted on this motel are very misleading! Im not the type of person who feels they need a palace to stay in, however, I do want to feel at home in a hotel when staying there for a while. Our room was a pit! Our entry door was on crooked, which left a gap on one side, and had to be slammed shut. The room was much smaller than pictured, much older (rust on door jams, warped walls, massive crack in wall), and the worst thing of all...the beds!!! Every night we tossed and turned, and woke up with back pain. I also dont want to leave out the continental breakfast. It was instant coffee, and a package of mini-dounuts. The pool was nice, but other than that this place had no redeeming qualities.-Extremely Dissapointed
