  • the hotel we stayed at was wonderful. All the employees were friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you, with directions or dining places. One thing that we were not told was the great and easy private back entrance to the Wharf right from our hotel. The sleep number bed was so great that we actually came home and bought one. This hotel is in the best location in San Francisco. Look out your hotel room and see the beautiful Wharf water front or the other side has a breath taking view of the city. I recommend this hotel for anyone!! Sit back and enjoy this establishment.

  • the hotel we stayed at was wonderful. All the employees were friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you, with directions or dining places. One thing that we were not told was the great and easy private back entrance to the Wharf right from our hotel. The sleep number bed was so great that we actually came home and bought one. This hotel is in the best location in San Francisco. Look out your hotel room and see the beautiful Wharf water front or the other side has a breath taking view of the city. I recommend this hotel for anyone!! Sit back and enjoy this establishment.

  • We didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel, there was so much to do in the area. The staff were wonderful, as were the accomidations.   • We didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel, there was so much to do in the area. The staff were wonderful, as were the accomidations.   • Because it was a Tuesday night we were treated to an upgrade. As far as I could tell, we had the best room in the hotel. Absolutely beautiful views of the Bay area. Room was very clean and neat.

  • Excellent hotel, great location, front desk the BEST. Rooms are clean, big, and everything top notch. Only negative is that the 4th floor hallways smell badly of smoke. Rooms do not but cannot comment on first 3 floor. If you want a great place, location (and I have stayed at 7-8 others in San Fran) then you will be wise to choose the Radisson on the Wharf>

  • You step out the back door of the hotel and you are right on the Embarcadero. It is two blocks in one direction to Pier 39 and about 6 blocks in the other direction to Ghiradelli Square. The trolley cars are close by and also the Muni which will take you almost anywhere you want to go. Customer Service was exemplary at the Radisson. Check in and check out were both quick, convenient and friendly. Parking ($30.00 per day) was less than other hotels in the area. The concierge was helpful and gave excellent recommendations. I will always try to rebook at this hotel.

  • No where in making the reservation was anything said about the cost of parking a car while staying at this hotel. Ive stayed in SFO many times before and have paid on avg of about $12 to $18 a night but hardly ever free parking. But at this hotel the cost was $40 a night !!! I think that is excessive !! Raise the rates on the hotel rooms and say parking is free or at least something reasonable. The hotel itself is ok, clean rooms but very small in a good location. But will not stay there again because of underhanded method for parking expense.

  • Excellent location, right next to IHOP and Johnny Rockets. Cable cars, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square all within walking distance. We had a great view of the pier from our balcony. My only complaint was the smell in the hallway leading to Fisherman's Wharf. I strongly recommend getting a City Pass!

  • nice location, big room. nice staff ,very helpful security guard .24 hour ihop next door .pier39 just steps away .close to all the action ,i would stay here again.when i ran out of coffee the security guard got it for me. that was very nice of him .

  • We were very satisfied with the hotel and staff. The location is excellent. Close to the Wharf and close to public transporation. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptionally pleasant. The only complaint is that they charge too much for parking although we at least new it before we booked. Parking is tuff in the area but there were places within a block or two that were half the price.

  • When I first stepped into the Lobby I was slightly disappointed. I like staying at Raddissons (they are one of my favorite) This one was missing some of the grandeur that you usually see at all Radissons Hotels.But I can not complain about anything else. The staff was above and beyond friendly. I talked with 3 different concierges and they were all exceptionally helpful!The Hotel was perfectly located on the Wharf. Within seconds of pier 39, where you could find so many different places to eat, shop and take sightseeing tours. My favorites were ~ Hard Rock Cafe ~ Bubba Gumps ~ and if you take the #47 bus ride (about 15 min) and get off at ""Eddy or Turk"" St, walk 1/2 block to ~ Chevys (Mexican ) It will make your day. Absolutely the BEST Mexican food I have found in the US. And reasonably priced too! (And Ive been to Mexico 5 times) I really like ""Chevys"" We ate there twice on our 6 day trip.I would differently like to go back and stay at the Raddison if I make it back to San Fransisco in the future. It wasnt overpriced and it was so convenient to everything!P. S. There is also a Mc Donalds on the back side of the Hotel facing the water. And a I HOP right around the front on the corner. Excellent food even if youre not on a budget.

  • This was our first trip to California and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Front desk staff was friendly and attentive. We didnt use room service as the Radisson location is perfect to walk everywhere for food and tours. We did use the Concierge and they were also very informative. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  • This was our first trip to California and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Front desk staff was friendly and attentive. We didnt use room service as the Radisson location is perfect to walk everywhere for food and tours. We did use the Concierge and they were also very informative. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  • I wasnt overly impressed with the hotel. When I think of the name ""Radisson"" I think of an upscale hotel. We were greeted by a very helpful registration desk employee by the name of X and he was very informative. There was a miscommunication between online travel website and the hotel. They had us having (1) queen size bed yet our confirmation showed (2). We have four people in our party I dont see where they thought the (2) other people were going to sleep. Due to this mixup Brian found us a room that had a wonderful view of the bay from our balcony. We were on the ""non-smoking"" floor yet our room had to be aired out because it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was in dire need of being remodeled. The only real good thing about the hotel was that it was located on Fishermans Wharf and all of the employees were very helpful. My family and I would stay there again only because of the location.

The only real good thing about the hotel was that it was located on Fishermans Wharf and all of the employees were very helpful. My family and I would stay there again only because of the location.

  • We stayed here May 5-9, the hotel is old, but clean and well kept. The only food on the premisis is an Ihop and a hamburger stand, but you can order delivery from a delivery company. Parking very pricey and the rooms are small, however the location for public transportation and Fishermans Wharf more than make up for any short comings.We had a room with a balcony, overlooking part of the bay as well as the swimming pool, on the third floor, and it can be rather noisy till about 10:00pm. We would stay here again, just for the convenience of parking the car, walking and location.

  • This hotel is in a great location to see all that Fishermans Wharf has to offer. The concierge was very helpful and assisted us with booking a nice anniversary dinner as well as some local haunts that not all the tourists found. The hotel rooms are a bit small, especially for a week or longer vacation; however, the beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were clean, and overall the place worked well.

  • Excellent location, right next to IHOP and Johnny Rockets. Cable cars, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square all within walking distance. We had a great view of the pier from our balcony. My only complaint was the smell in the hallway leading to Fishermans Wharf. I strongly recommend getting a City Pass!

Would have been even better if a continental breakfast was offered as the restaurants nearby are pricey. It is next to IHOP, but didnt want to eat somewhere we could eat everyday at home. The only downside was that the remote control in our room was very filthy, like it hadnt been cleaned in ages, and it didnt work well, and channels on tv very limited. But otherwise, good deal for price we got thru travel website.
