  • Stayed at this hotel off and on for about 6 years, only because of the location. The rooms are small, tubs have a short piece of glass (no shower curtain) so if you take a shower water goes everywhere, the phones on the desk are so high tech they are impossible to use. They wont call a taxi for guests until they come to the lobby, and then they have to walk a distance to the street to flag on one as they will not call. Getting a taxi takes an average of 10 to 15 minutes. The cost of a room is above average for the area and room size and amenities. Speaking of amenities, internet is sporadic and slow, the ""gym"" is about the size of the bathroom, and room service is an average of 30 minutes. Do not arrive later in the day or your room will be facing the alley which has all kinds of noise late at night, and very early morning trash trucks. I do not stay there any longer. Great location but with other hotels being nearly as good a location for less and with better service and amenities, I stopped staying there last year and now stay elsewhere, with no regrets. Used to treat repeat guests very well but not since the remodel about 2 years ago.

I had a non-smoking room that smelled like fresh smoke and when I called the front desk they said it must be coming from the vents...so much for non-smoking room. Being on the square is a great plus with one main downside: no quick access to taxis! On my last trip, I stayed at the Halkin and both the service and the room were 10 times better at the same price.

  • This location of this hotel is unbeatable (located in Leceister Square), the facilities are everything youd expect of a 5 star hotel in London, and the business facilities are excellent. But what really sets this hotel apart is the fantastic staff. General Manager Atanas Botev does an amazing job leading his team to deliver exemplary customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They will make your trip!
