  • Stayed 6 days and 5 nights with a 4 and 5 yr old and two teenagers 16. The hotel is a great place to stay and would stay again. The pool offers great down time for parents while offering great pool activities for the kids or you can sit back watch a movie @ the theatre in the hotel shown 8am to 10pm with a different movie each time and each day. The hotel restaurant is good place to eat breakfast but not worth the money for dinner, the food is not all that great. You may want to rent a car because there not that many choices of restaurants near the hotel but there are a few. If you plan on going to any of the disney parks the hotel offers a shuttle bus but may have to stand they do pick up from another hotel. Cabs are little expensive so i advise you use the shuttle.

Stay here and save your money for Disney World. Only thing I didnt like was the bus ride it took about 30 minutes depending on which park. But it is FREE!

  • We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pool area was fun, especially when the staff played games with the children. We visited during Spring Break and there werent as many childrens activities available, but there were enough to keep our boys busy. Well be back in 07!

  • I've watched the customer service in a steady decline. The latest example is when I booked, I requested a certain room. I was told that the room was unavailable due to a rehab. Fine, I took a smaller room facing the parking lot. (same price). Found out from housekeeping that the room was not rehabed, I went to the front desk to complain. The real reason was it was blocked out halfway through my stay. I could understand this, but after being lied to, I was upset. They ended up giving me that room, but not without a verbal dressing-down.

  • Yes we travel with our dog, so it does limit our choices for choosing hotels in Orlando. Although this is not my husband and Is first choice, our kids couldnt disagree with us more. If you are traveling with kids in tow, I would recommend that you stay here. The first thing that I like is the security guard gate at the front of the hotel. If you dont have the 2 identifiers the front desk gives you, you will get stopped. The next thing is the room layout. My husband and I like the fact that the kids sleeping area is blocked off by a half wall. Our kids like the fact they get their own area in the room to put their stuff, although both boys complained about the mattresses. They were somewhat stiff. I guess for little kids its okay, but not really for 10-13 yr olds. As fas as hotel amenities, they have a decent gameroom, a movie room for kids that plays movies all day long, a kids program (we didnt use it, but its there) and a nice pool area with hot tubs. I like that they put pool toys out for the kids. They also have a little bar (kinda quiet which is nice after a day at the parks) and a restaurant. We didnt eat there as Landrys Seafood is right next door. The only small complaint we had was... Their dog walk area is NOT a dog walk area. Its about 12 inches worth of dirt around the parking lot. Our poor little dog refused to go on it and looked up at us if we were nuts for putting her on the dirt. We did find a nice patch of grass at 7-11 which is right next door. Thanks 7-11!

  • ive never had a vacation where the hotel was PART of the fun. pool is huge - tons of deck chairs. tip: bring your own goggles/floaties because they are for sale on site at $7 - 9 each and the kids will want/need them if participating in the pool activities. saturday night movie poolside was relaxing. pool open til 11 which even after a long day at a park, my kids still had energy to swim and wore themselves out each night. they loved it. pool was also very clean - nothing ""scary"" looking floating around - never got the ick sensation about it at all.loved breakfast buffet - extensive assortment that pleased each of my three extremely picky eaters. we thought it was a great value: including beverages, tax and tip, it was $26. yes, you can get a few biscuits at the fast food for cheaper but for the convenience of NOT having to drive somewhere to eat plus the incredible selection, it was the high light of our day, especially considering we ate essentially junk food in the parks all day. omelette guy rocks and definitely worth the extra 5 minute or so wait for custom eggs!! for the volume of people the small restaurant has to handle, the staff are all amazingly efficient and quite pleasant. we never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated.the kid suite room was less private than i would have liked but lets face it: this was a kid vacation, not an adult one. bathroom was extremely roomy so you can bathe/dress several at once. never been more pleased with a hotel.

  • Starting to show its age could use paint. Rooms nice inside. Resturant is a nightmare. Food is just plain awfull!!!! Could go to any resturant in the area for the same price. Dont get sucked in by the kids eat free pay for your kids elsewhere trust me.

  • We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of our Spring Break trip to Disney. We were very pleased with our accommodations and the courteous staff. The kids suites were perfect for our family of five. It was a nice atmosphere and the pool was perfect. Also, a very secure hotel.

The rooms are large enough for us to fit comfortably. My husband and I forgot the boys pack and play but when we called the front desk they had two portable cribs brought to our room with in the half hour.The pool area is great for the kids and my daughter found the poolside activities fun. Though we didnt try it out we were pleasantly surprised to find a nicely kept playground.This hotel is also conveniently located to Disney.

  • I stayed here in August 2008 with my husband, and 2 kids (ages 6,7). Overall the hotel was great for the kids, the pool was excellent and since it stayed open till 11 the kids loved diving in after a long day at the parks and gave us time to relax. The rooms were large but very poorly distributed, there were only 3 drawers to use for 4 people, in the kids suites I had to put my kids clothes in the desk drawers since we were there for 7 days, the room needed more drawers. The room was big enough but dont really know why they did not put more furniture in the room. The halls and the stairs were really dirty and the Kids Club is a joke they were only open 2 days a week for 5 hours, so since we went during the week we were never able to leave the kids there and go to Pleasure Island or anything like that. The cleaning staff was excellent, one day we left around 9 and for some reason we had to go back to the room at 10 and it was already cleaned, I was so surprised. The location is excellent, very close to every park possible and near great restaurants and stores. I will stay at this hotel everytime we go to Disney, hopefully they will add more furniture for the drawer space.

The walls in our room were paper thin; the noise from the couple in the next room woke us up at 1 a.m. (I prayed our children werent awake.) The room came equipped with one small bottle of shampoo for 4 people and we had to walk down six flights of stairs to dredge up another one because the elevator was broken.

As this was our girls trip, we were delighted that the outlet Premium mall was 2 minutes away by car. The mall closed at midnight, and we stopped by for shopping after our disney days. Great deals, and great brand names. It was one of our hightlights.

  • We stay in Orlando 3 to 5 times a year. We will not stay at this Hotel again. With the exception of the people at the front desk the staff didnt seem very helpful or that they even wanted to be there. The fitness room had 1 treadmill and 1 bike with a weight station but on the website it looks like there is a lot more. The pool was good. Most of the snack bars and the ice cream shop seemed to be closed much of the weekend and they were out of soft serve ice cream,pretty bad considering it was Spring break and the weekend. The line for Breakfast was ridiculous. The rooms were okay,but could use some TLC. There are a lot better places to stay in the area and we have and will be staying at them from now on.   • Hotel is close to Disney parks. Our family has 4 kids (12, 9, 8, and 4). The bunk beds were adequate for the kids, and the king bed for the adults was comfortable. The room was clean, but was starting to show its age. The pool was warm and inviting. Overall, a great value for a larger family. We did not spend too much time in the room except for sleeping, so this place was perfect for our family. Did not try the restaurant in the hotel.

  • Have kids? This place is perfect. Rooms are large and come with bunkbeds (if requested). I think resort may be a strong word for this place, but it does have a lot of things to do for kids. Small movie theater, playground, great pool, etc. Its also close to the theme parks! If you are on a budget, this is certainly the BEST you will find.

  • Stayed here 2 yrs ago and it was great. This time was terrible. Stayed here mainly for the kids club which was almost non existant. I called the week before to check the hours of the kids club- was told hours varied daily. Found out it was only open 2 nights a week for 5 hrs a night after we checked in. The ammenities actualy got worse during our stay. They quit giving free newspapers in the middle of the week. They discontinued lunch room service in the middle of the week. They doubled the price of the almost non-existant kids club. Only half of the elevators in our wing worked and we were on the 6th floor. I had to request the room be cleaned twice because they just never showed up to do it during the day. The attraction shuttles were reduced to needing 24 hour notice instead of every day on demand. I tried to rebook through Travelocity but was not happy with their respose to our problem. They wanted us to check out immediately with no guaranty they could rebook us in a comparable hotel. We may have had to stay somewhere at twice the price or been forced to take credit for our unused nights an find a new hotel on our own. Ill never stay here again and will wait for Travelocitys respose to see if I will ever use their services again- probably not.

  • The rooms were great, an area for our daughter. The hotel had movies for kids and arcade. But Transportation is awful. No transport from airport, to disney you either go before 11am or wait til 6pm. You also can not return until 6pm or 8 or 9. By the time it picks you up and everyone else it is an hr later. Dont let them talk you into visiting their other hotel for disney ticket discount. We were told an hr. We got stuck with a 3 hr speech and pushing to buy a $25,000 a week a year room. We declined. Overall, loved the room but lost fun time.

  • I Travelled with a 3Yr old an a 15 yr old they both loved it the pool was very spacious an clean. The room was a comfortable size for my family an very clean the people at the hotel were very friendly an helpful. There were lots of activities in the hotel an at the pool for the kids. the parks were very close by an the shuttle bus was fine the driver was very friendly an also helpful. There was a variety of places to eat at walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.Already planning for next years vacation.
