  • this hotel is wonderful! my kids and i loved everything here...they treat you very well, have a beautiful pool, great location and use of dolphin is a big plus too...

  • The Swan is all about location. Boardwalk,Epcot,MGM & Yacht & Beach are all within walking distance. The pool area is great. We spent a lot of time at the pool/beach area during the hot parts of the summer days.

  • The Swan is all about location. Boardwalk,Epcot,MGM & Yacht & Beach are all within walking distance. The pool area is great. We spent a lot of time at the pool/beach area during the hot parts of the summer days.

  • The Swan was the most wonderful place to stay. The staff was great and helpful in everyway. First nite, we had buffet and met Timon at character dining. My girls love it and set off a beautiful memory at Disney. The buses and boat was so convenience. I will be coming back next time.

  • The Swan was the most wonderful place to stay. The staff was great and helpful in everyway. First nite, we had buffet and met Timon at character dining. My girls love it and set off a beautiful memory at Disney. The buses and boat was so convenience. I will be coming back next time.

  • Every time we go to WDW (at least one time per year), we stay at the Swan. They treat us like royalty there and always try to accomodate our requests. The value for the location cannot be beat.

  • Every time we go to WDW (at least one time per year), we stay at the Swan. They treat us like royalty there and always try to accomodate our requests. The value for the location cannot be beat.

  • Over all the Swan was a great place to stay. The staff was verry kind. The activities to do there were great. The location is prefect for a nice walk to Epcot or a boat ride to Disneys Hollywood studios. There was a great pool perfect for getting out of the sun on a hot day. The Kimono restraunt was an exelent place to eat.Thanks,Eun D

  • Visited with my husband for convention. Its very crowded but the location is great! Food is expensive as well. But the hotel is awesome, the beds are heaven and the pool area is great. I liked it so much we are going back again this year! The room we had was perfect, no smell and good view, and we didnt even ask for one! Even though """"Disney"""" is not in your face 24/7, it was nice to get away for the night and relax.

  • I was extremely disappointed in our stay at the Swan. It is listed as a deluxe resort and I have stayed at Super 8s that were nicer. The room we stayed in was dirty and they were doing remodeling/construction work on the room next to ours and the two rooms directly across from ours. We were not told upon check-in that construction was happening, nor given the option of moving. It appears that the Dolphin is a nicer hotel and the Swan and Dolphin share all of the amentities with each other. Dirty drinking glasses were left day after day until we said something and there was a smushed grape that was hidden behind the curtains that housekeeping missed - upon our arrival! Everything is very expensive - one breakfast for three people to eat cost $*. Everything in the hotel is dated. The lobby is extremely deceiving because it looks so nice when you walk in, but it is a huge disappointment when you get to the rooms. In fact, on our first full day at the hotel, we had to have housekeeping come at 5 p.m. because they completely skipped our room! There is just no excuse. There is nothing for kids to do at the hotel - you would be better served staying at another hotel that caters to kids. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone - in fact, I have an entire sheet of paper that lists all of my grievences that I am going to pass on to the general manager.

  • We arrived the Friday before Labor day and the weekend was great. Then Tuesday came and the remodeling with it. I had done my research and this hotel was remodeled 3 yrs ago, so thought would be ok. Understand it was slow season, but they were remodeling right next door to our room, and many rooms on our floor. No relaxing in the afternoon for us! Other problems, bugs in our coffee carafe, lost room services orders, air conditioner issues the last night of our stay, did I mention the remodeling??? On arrival we inquired about an upgrade and were told we could upgrade to a suite w/ a balcony for $* a day. Great, except it turned out to be a regular room w/ a pullout sofa and a balcony. Not worthy of the extra $$. The staff were only ok, the front desk clerk, friendly enough, but then she was working on that extra * for the upgrade. When I contacted room service about the but, I was met with disbelief. When they brought up another and saw the bug, he was very apoligetic, however, we were still charged for the coffee! They did credit us for a room service charge when they lost our order, but it was too little too late. I did speak with the front desk manager and GM, but niether offered anything except to educate thier staff. Thought they may have offered some incentive to make this right. On the positive side, the beds were awesome, the buses/boats to the parks were great. Dont be fooled, this is not a Disney owned hotel! I think if I had understood this, I may have chosen differently. At the very least I would choose the Dolphin but definately look at Disney hotels.

  • Wonderful hotel...great beds, great transportation, very clean and friendly staff. I loved where the hotel was located. Very convienent boat to disney holywood studios and epcot. Very short walk to the boardwalk. Great pool/beach area. I loved the beds they were so comfortable to sleep in. No complaints! Even though there is a business confrence center in the hotel it is still very kid friendly. I have a seven and two year old and it was great. Do not hesitate to book your stay here!

  • The Swan is definitely a good place to stay for several reasons: easy/pleasant transportation to Epcot/MGM, clean & comfortable beds, beachy area w/pool, close to boardwalk, close to Dolphin (which has lots of restaurants/great milkshakes), putt-putt course nearby, and discounts that are sometimes available (i.e. travel website/medical prof). Disadv: Sometimes too crowded, and we couldn't count on concierge--told us things were sold out when they were not! Dining is a little pricey overall. Longer stays--you'll have to request linen change.

  • Room was spotless, didnt have any odor that I could tell. Rooms quite small, and carpets were a bit worn. Never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator, best Ive ever seen. Quiet at night, and great pool area for the kids. Asked Bell staff for a taxi twice, got a limo twice instead, at 2 or 3 times the price, a rip-off

  • Our trip to the Swan was great. The beds were ""heavenly"" but we were unable to score a king size. The room was simple standard, quiet and clean. The towels were plentiful. Carpets were new and there were no smells as others have noted here before. We never waited for an elevator! Despite the # of rooms, we never felt a crowd. It was a place to de-Mouse yourself after a hectic day at the parks. The pools were beautiful and not busy (October).I cant say enough about the location. It is attached by causeway to the Dolphin and is back door to the convenient water shuttle (7 minute ride) and walkways to Boardwalk, Disney Yatch Club, Epcot & Hollywood studios. Their 1 mile jogging trail loops around the beautiful 4 hotel area & lagoon. Boardwalk is a fun place to just hang out at night. We never needed to rent a car and the trip to Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom was about 15 minutes by bus. The return trips were longer, but no problem.The Garden Grove breakfast buffet was great but it was awfully noisy with the high ceilings. Goofy and Pluto were there on Sunday.My husband & I would make a recommendation for the Swan, and Disney in general: Change to Dunkin Donuts coffee! Tip: We & houskeeping had a hard time coordinating... so when you leave your room, call to ask for your room to be done prior to your return. (Our unwind time interferred with their schedule so our room was not done until 5:30PM)The best Mom-ism I heard on the trip was when a mother said to her children:""This is the happiest place on earth, theres no whinning allowed here."" LOL

  • I loved our stay in the Swan! The hotel is located right in the park and the complimentary transportation is a major plus! Service was good, though our late-night phone call for room service went un-answered. There were more children than we expected but it was still a romantic place to stay.   • Came with my husband, who was here for conference. Convenient for him. Not so great for me. They nickel and dime you to death on everything. Food is outrageously priced. Room was below average--but bed was comfortable and room clean. If its warm out, be ready because it will be FREEZING in public areas (lobby, restaurants, etc.). So much for being green and saving resources! Funny smell, too. Had to rent a car one day at least to GET OUT of the Disney universe. You are basically stuck in Disney and all their overpriced options without a car. I have stayed at much better places for half the price with great continental breakfasts and FREE amenities. Wont be returning.

  • Came with my husband, who was here for conference. Convenient for him. Not so great for me. They nickel and dime you to death on everything. Food is outrageously priced. Room was below average--but bed was comfortable and room clean. If its warm out, be ready because it will be FREEZING in public areas (lobby, restaurants, etc.). So much for being green and saving resources! Funny smell, too. Had to rent a car one day at least to GET OUT of the Disney universe. You are basically stuck in Disney and all their overpriced options without a car. I have stayed at much better places for half the price with great continental breakfasts and FREE amenities. Wont be returning.

  • We stayed at this hotel thinking that it would have been much nicer for the price we paid. The rooms were no better than a 2 star hotel. My five year old was told she would be receiving a special gift, since we were here celebrating her birthday. This never happened, and ulitimately she was upset. The room smelled of must and mildew so we were forced to only go back to it when we were exhausted and needed to go to bed. We will never waste our money here again. Ive stayed at far nicer hotels for less.

  • Thought we were getting a good deal because of discounts, but they nickle and dime you for EVERYTHING. $3.50 for a bottle of water; $9 + tax each time you left the parking lot and came back; overpriced food; $8 to use the gym. These are just a few examples. Would never stay here again because there are nicer properties with free parking, breakfast included, etc. Our room was nice, didn't smell, comfy bed.

  • This is not a vacation hotel. It is overpriced and should not be associated with Disney. The atmosphere is too rigid. This hotel looks great from the outside but looks like a dump on the inside. The exhaust fan didnt work in one of my rooms the artwork is atrocious in the rooms.

  • STAYED TWICE, IN JUNE 07 STAYED AT SISTER HOTEL (DOLPHIN) ROOM SMELLED REALLY BAD AND CARPET WAS SOAKED, SWITCHED TO ANOTHER ROOM AND HAD BUGS IN BATHROOM AND DRESSER AREA IN BEDROOM. COMPLAINED WHEN I RETURNED HOME, GOT A CREDIT AND NOW TRIED THE SWAN IN Aug. 07, THE ROOM WAS SMALLER THAN THE DOLPHIN AND SMELLED REALLY BAD AGAIN. EVEN THE ELEVATOR SMELLED REALLY BAD. COMPLAINED AT THE FRONT DESK AND SAID DIDNT HAVE ANY ROOMS TO SWITCH ME TO (PROBABLY BLACK LISTED FROM COMPLAINING IN JUNE) TRIED TO STAY AWAY FROM ROOM AS LONG AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE SMELL REALLY WAS MAKING US SICK. GOING AGAIN THIS AUG (08) BECAUSE WAS TOLD THE ROOMS AT THE SWAN HAD BEEN ALL UP-DATED. I LOVE THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL (MY SISTER HAS THE VACATION CLUB AROUND THE CORNER) AND BEING A FLORIDA RESIDENT I GET OKAY RATES OTHERWISE WOULD STAY ELSEWHERE.

  • We had a wonderful time at Disney World. Everything at the Swan was excellent. The staff, the room, the restaurants at the Dolphin, were perfect. The location was great with easy access to the parks and Downtown Disney. We had a great time and hopefully will be able to return and stay at the Swan again.

  • We had a wonderful time at Disney World. Everything at the Swan was excellent. The staff, the room, the restaurants at the Dolphin, were perfect.   • Room was spotless, didn't have any odor that I could tell. Rooms quite small, and carpets were a bit worn. Never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator, best I've ever seen. Quiet at night, and great pool area for the kids. Asked Bell staff for a taxi twice, got a limo twice instead, at 2 or 3 times the price, a rip-off

  • Stayed there Oct 29-Nov 2nd. Wonderful hotel with great location, beds, superb transportation, very clean and friendly staff. Very convienent boat to Disney MGM studios and Epcot. Very short walk to the boardwalk. Great pool/beach area. I loved the 2 Queen beds they were so comfortable to sleep in, but rooms are MUCH smaller than the advertisement photos as they used a Macro Lens camera for advertising. Crowded with 3 adults and a child, no couch or seating room. Bathroom area adequate, but small.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Swan. We were given a lovely room with balcony. The combined grounds (with Dolphin) are beautifully maintained and landscaped. The location was perfect for access to Epcot, MGM and the Boardwalk. My husband enjoyed the reasonably priced breakfast buffet.   • The convenient location within DisneyWorld made staying at the Swan an overall success. It was just a hop, skip & a jump by bus, water taxi or walking from the Boardwalk, Downtown Disney or all of the Disney parks. The only long journey is Magic Kingdom which was fine for a family of all adults who only did that park once; if you have small children you might want to think about staying at an on site hotel closer in proximity.The staff, especially the conscierge, were very helpful. We found them very accomodating and ready to assist whenever possible. The only exception were the staff at the Mulino Trattoia, a hotel restaurant. While the food was okay at that restaurant it was overpriced for the poor service they rendered. It was the least favorite of any of the restaurants we visited over our six day stay.We would recommend the Swan for your vacation getaway.

  • Overall hotel good, however we requested and were told we could have a roll away bed but when we registered they told us we could not have the bed because it was a fire hazzard. Had we known this we would have selected a different hotel.
