  • Hello, I just returned from the hotel and I will have to say that I was totally impressed. I am a professional traveler and I am in and out of hotels all year round. The staff was always willing to help with anything and so where the locals (very surprising)! The primary languages are the local, the dutch, spanish, and english. I will go back the rooms were large and I cant express enough all much fun and r&r I had there! Recommended to EVERYONE!

With the price for the room it should have been included. Free shuttle to downtown but no shuttle to/from airport. You must take a taxi to go anywhere but cost of taxi was acceptable.

  • For anyone looking for hotel in Curacao, the Marriott Beach Resort is an excellent option. When my new wife and I decided to go to Curacao one of our initial problems was picking a hotel. The reviews on other websites like tripadvisor were helpful, and we decided to stay at two hotels the Marriott and Floris Suite. Would recomend both equally. As far as Marriott is concerned it is a more American hotel style and has more hotel rooms and resturaunts. Marriott has excellent food options, rooms were clean, pool was beautiful. Additoinally, Marriott has a lot of activity options including available watersports. Service was good, and much better than some reviews has led us to believe. Marriott close enough to Willemstad to make quick morning, afternoon, or night trips into town. Again would recommend.

  • My husband and I visited on our honeymoon for 13 days. At first, our room was not desirable because we requested a ground level room. I mentioned it to the front desk and within 30min found a room and us (by the pool) with a new room. We had the best view and acess to the beach from our room. The staff at Seabreezes and the emerald lounge were exceptional . Hooks Hut (near the hotel) had wonderful food and ambience. We went there twice. Portifinos (at the hotel) had excellent risotto. The salon was also top notch. but, pricey.

  • We just got back last night from a weekend away at the Mariott Curacao. We were upgraded to a suite room, it sleeps four (4) and the big balcony and jacuzzi tub would make it worth while for a family or honeymoon.We heard, and know, there is an all-inclusive option for this hotel. If you are considering this hotel, ask your travel agent about it. The rack rate for the all inlcusive is in the hundreds per night no matter what room. The food is soooo good; NY strip at Portofinos, green asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, the rack of lamb, the lobster is a little small, the champagne brunch on Sundays is deliciously decadent. If you can get it included, great!! The drinks at the pool bar are a little weird, they serve great A brand vodka but have no Malibu or other brand liquers, and the rums are generics. The beach looks OK again. Half of it washed away with tropical storm Omar (right before it became a hurricane it hit Curacao) and the wave breakers are pretty much under water now, but its cleaned up and this week the beach bar opened up again.The beds are incredible, nice and fluffy. The free toiletries have a citrus ginger/mint smell, bring your own shower gel, it smells like you are using cleaning spray.Other than that...awfully relaxing, nice breeze, on the beach, fantastic views and sunsets, so worth it.

  • We stayed at the gorgeous Marriott for our week long honeymoon in Curacao and loved it! The hotel is gorgeous! The views are amazing, the beaches are gorgeous and the food is wonderful! Its perfect!

  • We stayed at the gorgeous Marriott for our week long honeymoon in Curacao and loved it! The hotel is gorgeous! The views are amazing, the beaches are gorgeous and the food is wonderful! Its perfect!

  • My wife and I honeymooned @the Marriott Curacao. We found the beaches wonderful. We were in Curacao in the off season, so there were fewer people there. The water is wonderfully blue and the palm tree lined pool was clean and a refreshing place to relax. You can rent snorkeling gear and see fish, coral, etc only 100 ft from the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Room Service was prompt with a varied menu. Breakfast was a very good deal, tasty and filling for the money spent. We ate at two of the three resturaunts located at the Marriott. They were both very good, though the menus were somewhat limited. The staff were very helpful, prompt with their service, and friendly to boot. The Marriott is a 10 minute cab ride from the Capitol, where you will do most of your shopping and observe the Curacaoan culture. The grounds of the Marriott are beautiful and well kept. My wife and I are dreaming of the day when we can return!

  • The Curacao Marriot was surprisingly outstanding, it met or exceeded all my expectations. On a previous trip to Curacao in 1998, alot of customer service personnel were extremely lacking in hospitaility and service but not here at the Marriot, every single employee was friendly, courtious and provided outstanding service and attended to our every need! From the first minute we checked into the hotel until the very last minute departing each and every contact with every employee was excellent. The staff should all be complimented on how well they are doing from the front desk, concierge, porters, maids, pool attendants, and all the restraunt/bar/store attendants; this level of service simply blew us away! one person who notibly deserves to be highlighted is the Porter/Baggage/Concierge Attendant, Roland Pet, who took service to the next level and ensured our satisfaction. As for the hotel property, this was just as outstadning as the service; dutch colonial styling, extremely clean and well-maintained property, rooms were very nice and comfortable and an extremely attentive and vigilant security staff who never was needed but were always around! We enjoyed all the bars and restraunts, the service was just as good and the food was excellent. Thank you and we couldnt be more pleased with teh overall experience at the Curacao Marriot Beach Resort.

  • My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the Marriott (his pick) and two nights at another hotel. The Marriott looks EXACTLY like it does in the pictures online, which is very surprising. Most hotels keep the new pictures online and never update the facility (in our experience)The Marriott is very upscale. This is the first posh hotel we have stayed in while in the Carribean. Staff very friendly, food at Portofino EXCELLENT!!! I have read many reviews about the meals being expensive, its the Carribean EVERYTHING is expensive. Best mixed drinks of either hotel. If you want to on the resort, youll be more than comfortable.
