  • Excellent stay! Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was right outside, or if you prefer, the pool was always a great place to hang out. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Any complaints I would have would be minor. All in all, everytime I stay in Miami, Ill be back here again, no question about it!

  • Excellent stay! Room was clean and comfortable. Beach was right outside, or if you prefer, the pool was always a great place to hang out. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Any complaints I would have would be minor. All in all, everytime I stay in Miami, Ill be back here again, no question about it!

  • rented a car. easy 20 minute drive from miami airport. able to find parking at the side street for entire stay. no tickets. p.s. dont park where the yellow markings are on the sidewalk. didnt need valet. staff was eager to assist entering and exiting the hotel front. got an upgrade to an oceanview room after one request at check in. view was peaceful, even during the storm. room was small with king size bed. just 2 of us, so it was intimate. bathroom was spacious. breakfast was tasty. outdoor seating available and we took advantage. beware of the pigeons on the outside deck. large pool with plenty of space for seating. about 200 yards to the beach. beach was wide and clean. not crowded. water was so clear i could see my feet at about chest level and im 6 foot. the sand bar broke the waves so no body surfing or boogey boarding. cab stand in front of hotel. went to Larios?, Gloria Estefans restaurant. delictable cuisine. good mojito. excellent service. from hotel about 45 minute stroll along the beach to 7th st in south beach. unpleasant experience: my fiancee asked the front desk for directions to the miami/oakland game on sunday am. they gave her directions to the orange bowl and insisted that they were correct. we already acquired directions to the game before we left DC. went to the orange bowl - NO GAME!!!! luckily we started out early and still made the game.wouldnt stay with more than 2 people - rooms too small.

  • We would normally stay at another hotel in Miami Beach but due to renovations we were forced to look elsewhere. The Courtyard Marriott was a great hotel for its size and location. It provided amzing service, its facility was very accomadating, and the location was great with great views. Anyone looking for a medium sized hotel at a great price should look into this hotel.

  • We would normally stay at another hotel in Miami Beach but due to renovations we were forced to look elsewhere. The Courtyard Marriott was a great hotel for its size and location.   • The boardwalk was fantastic, beautiful scenery and great exercise. Parking was an issue, if you dont use the hotel valet ($* per night) it is up to you to get lucky and find a spot on one of the side roads. Be careful, you will get a ticket if you are illegally parked.

  • Nice, refurbished hotel by the ocean. Clean room and linens; excellent breakfast buffet; very nice and shady pool area with clean pool towels and deck furniture. Easy access to the beach; beautiful and warm ocean. Quiet at night. Long walk to South Beach, but we felt safe. Very friendly hotel employees. Had to pay Valet Parking, since it was not available on the street. Would recommend and would come back!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party and had so much fun...The hotel provided free computer access in the hotel lobby, which was a plus for checking email. At the time I was taking an online class in which I needed to write a discussion by certain time. The computers would not let me logon since it was a restricted site for the hotel. I approached the staff about my problem and they let me use their employee computer. I was very happy and relieved! I could not believe that they accomodated me with their computer. Thank you!!!!

  • Check in was swift and smooth. Room clean and comfy. Pool was average size but clean. Front Desk friendly even was going to assist us in securing room for additional evening since return flight was delayed or reasons of inclimate weather. Boardwalk is right in back of the hotel great for casual evening stroll to heart of south beach. Buffet breakfast worth the additional cost. Food was constantly replenished.Area continually cleaned.

  • I just returned home from Miami Beach and would explore other options before committing to this hotel.I stay at Courtyard a lot for work, and had high expectations for this premise based on other Courtyard experiences, and these expectations were not met.First of all, the internet was not working in the room so after 2 hours of being on the phone with tech support, I finally could get online.I ordered room service, which never came. Upon calling about it I was told my order was not on file, and the kitchen was closed so I went without eating.I also had a few other minor service issues with the hotel, and while the hotel is very clean, and has a great location, there are other places right next door I would consider before checking back into this location

  • I just got back from my vacation (October 5-15 2008) and we stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are nicely update with flat screen LCDs and very clean. The swimming pool is right next to an outdoor restaurant with GREAT food and drinks. It has beach front access with a wonderful boardwalk if you like to jog or just have a romantic walk. My kids 14 and 9 loved the swimming pool and the beach. Everyone from the valet to the front staff, especially X and X make you feel like family. If you are visiting south beach you must stay here. I am look forward to returning next year. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation! Mr. Morales

  • Beautifully landscaped! Best hotel landscape on the boardwalk on Collins avenue. People were walking off the boardwalk from other hotels to our Tiki Bar; great music, drinks and food.Very clean hotel rooms, courteous staff.Only 5-10 minute taki ride to South Beach.Only complaint was the small, poorly ventilated fitness room.

  • Great hotel for families or couples. Upon request our room was upgraded to an oceanview. Room was fantastic, modern, comfortable bed and a perfect view! We were concerned about the amount of traffic and people during a holiday weekend . . . no need to worry. The hotel location is just far enough from the constant noise and (people) traffic, Its very congested on Collins Avenue Saturday evening from 5th Street up to 18th Street; but close enough to enjoy everything Miami has to offer. Valet parking is $25.00 but worth the cost with in and out service available - parking is hard to find on the streets during a busy holiday weekend. The staff was great, always courteous and attended to our every need. You have everything at your feet: pool, oceanside Tiki Bar, direct beach access, and Carrabbas restaurant at your service. The gates around the hotel requires your room key to access hotel property - great for security. I would suggest renting a car so you can explore other areas of Miami - Bal Harbour, Coconut Grove and my personal favorite Bayside Market -visit Bubba Gump Shrimp Company - great seafood at a reasonable price. This one is best choice for the money and stylish accommodations for a South Beach experience to remember.

  • Beautiful hotel right on the ocean. Easy access to beach and convenience store across the street with a great bakery, yogurts, salads and sandwiches. Many beach supplies there as well. A great place to stay if you wnat to be removed from the downtown south beach atmosphere yet close enough to visit. Taxis were expensive but it was very easy to take the bus to visit the downtown area. Also recommended is the mall in Miami, a short ride across the causeway. Many restaurannts and activities including boat rides.The only fault of this hotel is that there were never any empty pool chairs. Plenty of room for the hotel to purchase more but they are lacking in number of chairs. Could not sit by the pool unless it was very early morn or late afternoon.Great bar.

  • We stayed during the busy winter holiday season. The hotel is immaculate. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Comfortable, clean room. Internet access, morning Miami Herald delivered to your room. Beach chair and towel service. Fitness facility a bit small - but not really needed if you take advantage of the ocean front boardwalk - great for morning walk/run. Good location - just slightly north of busy South Beach - but close enough to the action if thats what you are looking for. Onsight restaurants were good, a little pricey for the type of food, but - convenient and nice to have tropical drinks on the deck! Be aware that tip is included in all the bills! Front desk will provide you with a list of good restaurants in various price ranges. A deli is located directly across the street - coffee, bagels, pastries, salads and sandwiches.

  • We stayed during the busy winter holiday season. The hotel is immaculate. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Comfortable, clean room. Internet access, morning Miami Herald delivered to your room. Beach chair and towel service. Fitness facility a bit small - but not really needed if you take advantage of the ocean front boardwalk - great for morning walk/run. Good location - just slightly north of busy South Beach - but close enough to the action if thats what you are looking for. Onsight restaurants were good, a little pricey for the type of food, but - convenient and nice to have tropical drinks on the deck! Be aware that tip is included in all the bills! Front desk will provide you with a list of good restaurants in various price ranges. A deli is located directly across the street - coffee, bagels, pastries, salads and sandwiches.

  • Very clean, very nice staff. Beautiful landscape & pool. My husband and I walked the boardwalk. This was the best hotel, even better than the Fountainbleu, from the outside. People from other hotels were walking off the boardwalk to get into our Tiki bar. Great music, drinks, and food!!My only complaint was the exercise room, which was very small. It had low ceilings and poor air circulation and antiquated equipment, but you can get an uncomfortable workout.Overall would stay here again!
