  • We arrived in Miami from Zurich, Switzerland. We were tired, jet lagged and hungry. The Hilton shutle was immediatley there and in 5 minutes we were in a gorgeous hotel, with views of water, water, water. The gift shop was open (where I managed to spend $100 on various pieces of exquisite costume jewlery). We ordered room service (not bad) and went to bed. We were of course up early, and the staff was too. Unf. we did not spend much time there, but if you are just looking for a one or 2 night stay, it is great. You should choose someplace closer to downtown Miami if you plan to stay longer.

  • After experiencing a hotel arrangement nightmare, our Miami family helped us in securing a room at the Miami Airport Hilton. From the minute we steped into the hotel till we left, the experience was fantastic. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast we had in the resturant was superb.   • This was my first booking with the Hilton. I loved this hotel! It was close to my meeting places, yet it felt like I was on a little vacation at the end of each day. Very nice, big elegance, clean, well air conditioned, great service and great food (chicken tortilla soup, yum!) The only bad thing was when the large airplanes took off close to the hotel in the middle of the night. This happened only once or twice a night (that it woke me up). Im sure most of the population sleeps heavier than I do. Im a lite sleeper, so I just put cotton in my ears, and sweet dreams... Next time I am in Miami, I will definately book the Hilton Airport West for my entire stay! It was beautiful and relaxing at the end of each hectic day.

It was also near enough to the airport and shopping that made it the ideal place to be.

  • The room was very comfortable after a long overseas flight. We were delighted that the cafe served a fabulous buffet that was continuously restocked with fresh food until 10 PM. The shuttle service was efficient. It was a perfect choice.

  • The stay began by waiting for a second shuttle after almost 40 mins because the first one was too full. The bus stank of rotten egg gas and was overcroweded. Upon arriving I had to get my own bags and check in. The process took close to another 40 mins. I then get to the 11th Floor. So I am standing in the room and the lights dont work. I call a technician to the room and he explains that yeah the lights dont work in this room so you have to turn on lamps. So for the remainder of the stay I have to walk around turning half broken lamps on and off. Then the best part. Try the club lounge appropriately located on floor 13. Sheesh, I am sure that the roaches get served before you do. Upon checking out I told the girl that it was my third stay there in three years and the hotel was the tiredest and worst I had seen it. She agreed and said they hope to start renovations in a year. It was the worst Hilton I have stayed at... closely followed by the Hilton in Tucson, AZ.

  • The hotel was very busy. Not prepared for our check in. Did not put dining coupons in check in packet. Rude staff at front desk. Dinner at the restaurant in the hotel was the worst. Slow and non-existent service, food that had sat under a heat lamp too long, shrimp that was hard as a rock. Parking was a nightmare. We paid for long term parking ahead of time, when we returned from the cruise the parking lot attendant would not let us leave. She said that we had not paid for parking, when the charges were clearly listed on the receipt. This whole stay was an embarrassing mess.

  • My wife and I stayed here for one night after our cruise. We called the morning of check in to see if we could get early check in and it was no problem. 11 amChecked in Concierge took our bags and we were checked in in less than 5 minutes. We were pleased with the service and the room (although we requested a smoking and got a non on the 3rd floor on the otherside of the hotel from the elevator bank) the room was very large, its not the newest hotel and does show signs of wear. They were also upgrading the fire system.Grounds were wonderful there is a private peninsula out into the man made blue lagoon, very nice little path plants benches and piped in music - we did not see the Manatee (there are some we were told). We ate a great buffet lunch (pricey but no more than a Holiday in) and went out to the pool side bar. (Have X make you a Miami Vice or fresh Mojito) it was a cool day but the pool was nice plenty of seats and the drinks were great. Room Service for the price was lacking, for $20 a plate of angel hair should be more than a half cup! but was good non the less.we enjoyed this hotel and would return maybe with a 2 full night to enjoy the pool area more.

  • by all means, this was a wonderful stay, from the valet parking gang (extremely attentive) through the crew at the restaurant. me and my wife were celebrating our honeymoon, this was my little surprise to her, a little gateaway from the city. I have to say that restaurant staff, from the manager up to the bus boys were wonderful (wasnt expecting that someone will be able to explain my wife (who is french) the entirely menu on ther native language. always will be recommended.

  • Everything about the hotel was fine except for the rooms in which I stayed. The first room I was given was too warm and had a musty smell. The situation hadnt improved after an hour, so I asked for another room. The staff (who were very curteous) immediately gave me a new one. The new room was better, but it was not very clean. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and sink. As Ive said, everything else about the hotel was very good. The staff were very professional, the shuttle to and from the airport was convenient, and the restaurants seemed nice (although I did not eat in them). Even so, this wasnt enough to make up for a room that didnt seem entirely clean. I only rarely write negative reviews. In this case, however, I felt it was necessary. Since the rest of the hotel is so nice, it might be easy to get the wrong impression about the quality of the rooms. And since I had more than one room, I felt that the poor room quality was not a fluke. On the other hand, other travelers may not be as off-put by hairs in the bathroom. In that case, it might not be such a bad deal.

  • Average stay, was a good value for the money. Room was clean however, the work space was small. Cabs wait for you outside the Hotel, which was nice not to have to wait on them. The one thing to stay away from is the severly overpriced late night room sevice. The food we ordered was otten and we had to throw it away.

  • Average stay, was a good value for the money. Room was clean however, the work space was small. Cabs wait for you outside the Hotel, which was nice not to have to wait on them. The one thing to stay away from is the severly overpriced late night room sevice. The food we ordered was otten and we had to throw it away.

  • The view of the lagoon is peaceful and relaxing. The Sunday buffet was pricy, but very nice. There was a problem with bugs ALL OVER the balcony. You cant go outside. They are only on the balcony though. And most active in the AM.
