  • The hotel was not expensive, we had two rooms for only $$$ ! A fantastic rate! The beds were comfortable and the room was pleasant. We enjoyed the balconies and the amazing beauty of the property. The only complaint we had is that you needed a GPS to find your room. In most hotels if your room number is 51XX you would expect to push the 5 on the elevator to go to the 5th floor, not here! You go down one corridor, take the elevator to another floor, go down another corridor, take a second elevator then walk about a quarter mile down winding halls to find the room. If the gals at the front desk had a less concentrated accent, we might have had an easier time finding the room, but I did not wish to go on a hike first. The concierge was very helpful with assisting us in transportation aswe did travel in a group of 7. They were also able to find us a carseat for the 2 year-old.

  • The hotel was not expensive, we had two rooms for only $$$ ! A fantastic rate! The beds were comfortable and the room was pleasant. We enjoyed the balconies and the amazing beauty of the property. The only complaint we had is that you needed a GPS to find your room. In most hotels if your room number is 51XX you would expect to push the 5 on the elevator to go to the 5th floor, not here! You go down one corridor, take the elevator to another floor, go down another corridor, take a second elevator then walk about a quarter mile down winding halls to find the room. If the gals at the front desk had a less concentrated accent, we might have had an easier time finding the room, but I did not wish to go on a hike first.   • Checked in at 11:30 pm and was given a room with dirty towls on floor and an unmade bed that seen recent """"action!"""" Dirty glasses IN the sink. Front desk acted as if I put them out req they clean the room. Will never go back, there are too many other hotels in the area to tolerate that.

The restaurant was ok. The bar was fun at night with live music. We went to the coffee bar in the A.M. and they had starbucks lattes, made me happy. We took a free shuttle to the mall.   • The beds were the best. 5 big feather pillows and pillow top beds. The most comfortable I have had at a hotel by far. More comfortable than my own bed. The standard room in one of the wing parts of the hotel is about 1.5 times larger than any other typical standard hotel room. We received two cookies at check in. Hot cookies. That was very nice and unexpected. The room was very clean and up to date. The only down fall to the room was the towels are like sand paper. Not soft. Otherwise very nice. I liked that we had a balcony and the door actually opens to let you out. I wish they had flat screen tvs, but it was the typical old school tube tv. I also had my Rottweiler with me and they had no problems. They treated her very nice and even offered her a cookie. She couldnt have one because chocolate is bad for doggies, but nice however. The parking is stupid. I always get mad about getting charged 17.00 to park my car as a guest. I think that is the worst move hotels have ever made. I am handicapped, so I parked outside the gates in handicapped. I would have had about 100.00 in parking for the week. Anyway, the restaurant was good. I think the hours were fine. Open to 11 p.m. I think. I thought room service was a little expensive, but the food was good and hot when I got it. Other wise I would ask for a room in one of the wing part of the hotel. The hotel is very nicely decorated with an Alaskan feel! Stay here, I think you will like it!

  • The hotel appears to be a nice place to stay at first. Then you are hit with a 14.00 parking fee per day, Then the room was tiny,the bathroom was not clean,the hallaways were cold and my key did not open the outside door by my room making me take the long way around. The staff for the most part was rude or not helpfull from the front desk to the lounge. Better and cleaner places to stay.

  • A large sprawling complex. Parking was $17 with tax. Room was a delux extra large with two queen beds but seemed small and felt cramped. The room was dark and gloomy with ugly green carpeting that was stained. The room contained mis-matched furniture and a broken chair. The beds had nice linens but the mattress were cheap and uncomfortable. The bathtub didnt drain properly while taking a shower. However, the room was quiet and the view was OK. They give you a warm cookie when checking in at the front desk, probably to soften the blow of the parking fee. My wife and I stayed one night and it was over $200. We could have gotten a much better rate by NOT booking in advance. All things considered, not a good value and there are a lot of other hotels and motels in the area.

  • I must admit that the front staff were great and friendly. I was there for a familty wedding so didnt hang at the hotel much. Wasnt thrilled to have to drive to the farthest reaches of the universe to get to my room but the security was good so ....Was amazed that as a hotel guest I was required to pay $* a night (plus parking tax) to park my rental car. Next time I will be looking for a hotel that offers free parking for guests...especially since I wasnt even there most of the time. pretty much only overnight. The hot cookies on arrival was the best!!! Only fault i had was that my key didnt work and when I called the frontdesk they were going to send someone over ""right away"" with a new key. 15 Minutes later I was sitting on the floor at my door when finally someone came. Would have been faster if I had just got in my car and driven to the front desk(yes I had to drive to the frontdesk)

  • my girl fiend and i stayed here due to the failure to meet a 10:30 connection en-route to anchorage. upon check in they were very nice and considerate in light of our situation, they picked us up ffrom the airport in a timely manner, and to top alit all off, they gave us a delicious warm choco chip cookie at check in! the bed was fantastic also, very good complimetary toiletries and products!!!

  • I was at this hotel briefly for a weekend. Very close to the airport which was a plus BUT the charges for parking on the hotel grounds really sucked. I had a room over loooking the water and that was nice and all but my main complaint was parking. If you dont require a rental car may not be a bad stay especially for that early morning flight.

  • Stayed here over easter weekend for Norwescon... I had a great time, but there was one thing that concerned me greatly- the valet parking!!!! My friend and I were walking back from jack in the box across the street when I saw a car in the middle of the parking lot, ignition turned on the door wide open and not a soul in sight!!!!! scary, i know!

  • I arrived after midnight, cold and exhausted. The warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in, then an herbal tea packet in my room hit the spot. Comfortable bed, nice Neutrogena toiletries, peace and quiet. Its close to the airport and it looked like all the pilots and stewardesses stay there. Theres a shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes. The desk clerk helped me figure out a bus route.
