  • I stayed in the West Wing side of the MGM Grand because the rooms were remodeled and real Art deco like and sleek. I am from NYC so we love that stuff. It was a great stay and the shower is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the plush bed!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have pics of the room; e-mail me if you wanna see or have questions.

  • I stayed in the West Wing side of the MGM Grand because the rooms were remodeled and real Art deco like and sleek. I am from NYC so we love that stuff. It was a great stay and the shower is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the plush bed!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have pics of the room; e-mail me if you wanna see or have questions.

  • The rooms are very quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel had everything we needed for a great vacation--from food, to entertainment, to relaxation.

  • We arrived much later than expected (1 am) so the check in process was quick and easy. We were extremelly disappointed in the size (small) of the room (West Wing) and the fact that there was no coffee maker in the room. The concierge staff was not very knowledgeable of Las Vegas; in fact, sent us the WRONG WAY to go pick up our David Copperfield tickets that we had purchased online. It took us about a day to learn to use the monorail and the bus system. Overall we had a good time and would go back again, but we wouldnt stay at the MGM. I think we would stay closer to the middle of the strip. Another disapointment was that we were literally kicked out of the pool at 8 pm, and it was still 105 degrees outside! The Hollywood Theater was great and we LOVED David Copperfield. He was amazing! The casino at MGM is great. The food is all a bit pricey. There are definitely less expensive places to eat around town! The breakfast buffet was expensive but pretty good. I wish they would have had a few more options for non-meat eaters. They DID have soy milk though, and that was a welcome surprise. A little word of advice if you have never been to Vegas...A Vegas mile is not your typical mile. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes. You may look geeky in sneakers but your feet will thank you! Trust me! I wish I had known that before I packed nothing but flip flops!

Also there are a large amount of children at MGM and Vegas in general so dont be surprised to almost get run over by a stroller or two. Lots of nice attractions right in Hotel also great SPA... Went two days in a row and had a few services. Would definetly recommend the spa. Pool was okay but full of kids. MGM does have a separate pool for just adults though. Overall would stay at the MGM again loved every minute of stay.

  • I called the MGM to see about a promotional offer that I had gotten. I was told that I would be able to get 3 nights for ""free"" if I made reservations. I was made to believe that I had gotten the 3 nights due to past play that I had done on earlier trips to Las Vegas. Since I planned on going down to Vegas anyway I made the reservation. After spending my time there I went to check the points on my MGM card. I was told that the points I had earned during my stay this time would just ""cover"" my rooms. I explained that I had gotten the rooms for free due to previous comps. MGM players club told me that they had ""fronted"" me the rooms and that the points that I had accumulated during this visit would just ""cover"" ""paying them back"" for the ""fronted"" rooms. When I told them ""what would you have done if I had come down and not gambled?"" Players club said that they would have given me the rooms for free but they wouldnt give me any further comps. This is false advertising. To top it all off, the hotel was very hard to navigate and the bathroom in my room had mold on the ceiling. On the day that I was to check out, house keeping knocked on my door twice. Once at 9:30 AM and again at 10 AM CHECK OUT IS AT 11 AM! Most of the resturants are very expensive (average is about $50-$100 per person) I will never stay here again. If you want to stay in a nice casino check out Treasure Island. You get what you pay for and it/s worth the money you pay for it.

  • My wife and I was on an rest and relaxation get away, so we thought. This was my wife first time to Vegas and she had a blast. We did upgrade from the West Wing room to a room with a bath tub. You dont need to leave the hotel. There is fast food i.e McDonald and others and a Star Bucks coffee in the hotel. We had a great time taking in the sights. Things are expensive but this Vegas.   • When I checked into the MGM for the two rooms, online agency failed to make the reservations for these two room. I had my confirmation paperwork with me and reviewed same with the person behind the desk. She contacted agency and it was confirmed that I did have two rooms. This was a delay that we did not appreciate after two long flights that began in Knoxville, TN. I have booked with this web site the past four years and did not encountered this problem prior to this trip.

  • We were at the MGM 4 days before we ever left the hotel. It is absolutely a wonderful hotel. A city within a city. There are lots of stores, restraunts, theatres & shows and the fabulous casino. There is also the MGM Grand Lion Habitat which is simply wonderful. We looked at other hotels in Vegas and I am extremely glad we stayed at the MGM. No other can hold a candle to it. The staff is great and very friendly. We experienced no problems.

  • Upon check-in, I was given the option of staying in the Grand Tower room I had a reservation for, or going with the newly remodeled West Wing rooms. I opted for the West Wing. I wish I hadnt. The lighting is horrid. There are lamps within the mirros and walls that provide some illumination but there is no actual light! Putting on makeup, etc. was a challenge. Further there are large glass doors to the bathroom and shower area - you have to pull hard to open - and when doing so I pulled the door across the top of my foot, resulting in large gash (then of course no light to clean up a bloody foot!). There is zero counter space in the bathroom - just a round sink basin with an edge - your toothbrush can fit on it and that is about it. Additionally, every time I had more than two things plugged in, I blew the breaker and had to reset it at the outlet. The only plus side to these rooms is that it is away from the main hotel and it is quiet (no one to hear you scream when you cut your foot!).Dining at this hotel was excellent. The sushi bar is a definite thumbs up!!

  • We took our 5 children to the MGM for a week. I highly recommend it, the food court is a great place for fast-ffod, but the steak and other rest. were too expensive for family pricing.   • Stayed at re-renovated West Wing rooms and much better than I expected. The rooms are really huge, modern and beautiful. Service was to match but distance from lobby to lifts were very far. New Show """"Ka"""" was also excellent. Will stay again for sure.

  • Honestly, I didnt know what to expect regarding the hotel room. My stay was absolutely fabulous! The rooms were quite roomy, the beds were plush and I had the best view of the strip -- from the 28th Floor!!! I would definitely stay at the MGM Grand again. I do have only one complaint however--the wait time when calling the front desk for assistance is way too long. But that wont stop me from staying there again.

The rooms were quite roomy, the beds were plush and I had the best view of the strip -- from the 28th Floor!!! I would definitely stay at the MGM Grand again.   • This place is huge! Stayed here while in Vegas for a convention that was conducted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Good selection of food in the food court area and restaraunts. Played a little blackjack and our dealer was great. Very friendly and helpful to those at the table who were just learning the game. Location is a little further down the strip if you are wanting to see the other casinos like Bellagio, Venentian or Cesars it was a good walk but the monorail was convenient to use.

  • This place is huge! Stayed here while in Vegas for a convention that was conducted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Good selection of food in the food court area and restaraunts. Played a little blackjack and our dealer was great. Very friendly and helpful to those at the table who were just learning the game. Location is a little further down the strip if you are wanting to see the other casinos like Bellagio, Venentian or Cesars it was a good walk but the monorail was convenient to use.

  • Great Hotel/Casino, the only thing that I objected to was all the timeshare people but this was all over Vegas. As for the hotel, they need a few more well placed signs directing you to where you want to go. I would stay there again and plan to in the near future.

  • The hotel was great. Pricey, but nice. The only problem we had was getting fresh towels. After water came out of the tub, we phoned twice for clean towels. Staff promised them but they never arrived. But the room was comfy (great bed) and staff were generally very friendly and helpful. One problem: A paucity of mid-range food options. There arent many options in the hotel that arent cheap (McDonalds) or extremely pricey (Craftsteak).

  • If I wanted such a poor room, poor attitude and poor service, I could have booked a room at some no-name hotel on the way to Las Vegas, but no, it was top dollar at the MGM. I should have stayed at TheHotel at Mandalay Bay. If you like robotic employees repeating some nonsensical reason why the hotel cannot make some minor accomodation, and your every request, comment or complant being entered into their computer database like the former Soviet Union, then tthe MGM is the place for you. Its no wonder they hurting for business. And trying to hype some loser boxing match that no one will ever remeber anyway? Pathetic.

  • Our trip to Las Vegas was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfy. The MGM GRAND was just that GRAND! I would recommend this hotel to anyone whos looking for a fun, nice place to stay in Las Vegas. Location is very conveniently located with the monorail in back that takes you up and down the strip as much as you want for a small charge. We were out in Vegas for a family event. My Mom got MARRIED! The Forever Grand wedding chapel was AMAZING, they did a wonderful job. When I visit Vegas again in the near future, I will definatly be staying at the MGM GRAND.

  • we had a major issue in the room we were staying in 14140 i called several times to complain about guests next room smoking. Security never came to ask them not to smoke on a nonsmoking room i asked several managers, he was so so rude he treated me like a problem person for complaining all he would say ""what do you want?"" to see for themselves ""no"" was the answer to my request. i was given a $50.00 credit so i could wait for someone security or housekeeping to bring in a ozium machine it never arrived that night we had to put towels and a body pillow to block the smell out ,i was offered to change rooms no that was an inconvience to ""ME"" why should i have to go. i wasnt causing any problems,and i would have had to repack that was not fair to me.as well we had to open the window and blast the air as low as possible so that made the room very cold to hide the smell. as well that night there was a horrible smell coming from outside like sewer i called the front desk to find out there was an issue in the kitchen the odor reached the 14th floor we did not sleep all night with that disgusting smell,i have been going to the mgm over 12 years. like this experience never in any hotel speically 4 stars.the spas are disgusting i had a treatment the womens toilets was nasty, the showers was full of used razors, tootbushes, and dirty towels. the dry sauna was off at 1030am. my husband had a treatment in the mens spa he was disgusted as well he said it was plain nasty. in a spa were they has to be lots off hygene there wasnt i have been to many spa all over the world and this was the worst. mgm is no longer a 4 star not in my book and i do not plan to refer anyone to go either

  • Really wish we had paid a little more to stay somewhere nicer. Front desk staff was abrupt and not helpful. Hallway carpets were dirty and there was wallpaper pealing off the walls. Security guards were frequently confronting homeless people sleeping in the West Wing bar which was always empty anyways. Sea bBue restaurant was good, but Wolfgang Bar & Grill was terrible. Would not stay at MGM again. There are many options - especially now - Id recommend trying somewhere else.

  • When we arrived at MGM, we were checked in relatively quickly. Our friends room was fine but ours reeked of smoke. When we complained to the front desk, we were told that the rooms are deodorized each time they are cleaned. We refused to stay in it and asked if we moved to another room, could our friends be moved near us. At first we were told there were no rooms available. When my husband got irate with the supervisor, then we were at least given rooms on the same floor though not even close to each other. When we finally got our luggage and went to the new rooms, our friends room had not been cleaned at all! They thought somebody was still staying there as the bed hadnt been made, etc. It was 7:30 at night -check out is 11 a.m. and check-in is 3 p.m. Obviously somebody wasnt doing their job. My husband and I stayed at MGM last fall and had a very good experience - thats why we took our friends there. Needless to say, they want to go back next year and try a different hotel. Its too bad as MGM is a very beautiful place to stay.

  • Coffee pot/tea in room would have been very welcome (other than by room service at $16 a pop). Chairs in room only moderately comfortable. Bed better than average but a little soft for my comfort. Huge place requiring a lot of walking to get anywhere - room elevators are at one end while restaurants are at the other end of the casino. Heavy accents are generally okay but really not so much in areas where the employee needs to explain something to the guest. It is as frustrating for the guest as the employee when we have to ask for something to be repeated because we dont understand. Also, we wanted tickets for the tram and asked how to attain them and we were told by an easily understood employee at a desk at one end of the hotel that the tickets were available at the Concierge desk. After walking the distance across the hotel (nearly a city block!) I waited in line 15 or so minutes only to be told the tram was not affiliated with MGM and that Id have to go elsewhere to get them. Frustrating! Food was good at the buffet.
