  • The Hotel Mercure features extremely pleasant, competent staff. When I arrived, my reservation was in the computer, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was acceptable. The television did not work. Overnight the room was quite stuffy and the air was close. By the time I determined that the air conditioning and fan were not doing much, it was past midnight. I filled out a maintenance card for both TV and air conditioning and left it at the hotel desk the next morning. The hotel restaurant served some excellent German seasonal specialties, and again the personnel were extremely helpful. The hotel shuttle is available from 5:00 am to provide transportation to the airport. I would stay at this hotel again if I had a flight leaving the next day.
