  • From the time we checked in to the time we left the Mirage, everything was wonderful. We stayed in a regular room (no suite) and thought it was very nice, especially the make up table. Room Sevice cost less than most restaruants. Wish there was a coffee maker in room or at least by elevator on ground floor. Excellent and attentive hotel staff, housekeeping kind and attentive. Restaurnats expensive but most portions large enough for two people so we compromised. It was wonderful.

Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, and the amenities were satisfactory. Overall, Id stay at the Mirage again.

  • My wife and I really enjoyed the Mirage Hotel & Casino! They upgraded our room to the 24th floor with a beautiful view of the strip. A very nice room with shower and whirlpool tub. The cocktail waitresses were always there when playing slots. The Caribe Cafe was a nice place to dine. The Danny Gans show was over rated. Go see Gordie Brown across the street at the Venetian. Half the price and better.

  • We were allowed to check into our room a couple of hours early. The baggage guys were helpful and fast bringing bags to room after waiting for room. If you like a softer type bed then the bed was GREAT. I am considering buying the type of bed they had. I did find some minor cleaning problems in the room but only minor. The bag in the ice bucket was left in there from the prior persons. There was also some bottle caps behind the night stand that was missed when cleaned. However, when I called to have towels and soaps etc to be brought to the room they were very fast. The Siegfried and Roy exibit is well worth the 15.00 bucks. The whirpool would have been nice. We did eat at the buffet for lunch and very very good but pricey at 17.00 or so. The large flat screen in the room is nice. Overall, the location is wonderful being in the middle of the strip. The waitstaff in the sports book were slow with the ""free"" drink tickets for wagering.

  • I arrived at 11:00am. Check-in is not until 3:00pm, but was told that my room would be available in 90 minutes. Checked at 1:00pm and again at 3:00. We did not get into our room until almost 4:00pm. Requested a king room, but got two doubles right next to the ice machine. Not great. Requested a room change to a king the following day and was told that they would call me between noon and 3:00pm. They did not call me but when I called them they changed our room to a nice king just down the hall. Not a good start, but we enjoyed the hotel, casino and pool. The staff was pleasant and the recent remodeling is nice.

  • All of the above was great! We went for total relaxation and no thinking and we did just that!We stayed at the Mirage, great place, pool, coffee places, Samba restaurant, and concierge was very helpful in booking our show! Unfortunately the Beatles show was on vacation while we were there, but went to see Jersey Boys! FANTASTIC! Good flights, and the Grayline vouchers were a great idea! Didnt have to worry about cabs or anything! Alll around Great Trip!

  • First review I have ever left here... Visited Vegas and stayed at the Mirage. We have stayed there several times before - recently they have done extensive renovations. Granted the Mirage was in need of some work. The rooms are still the same size but have been upgraded to a very modern decor. Anyway, on vacation I always look forward to sleeping in my own bed. NOT THIS TIME! The new beds are wonderful!!! My wife and I are looking into purchasing the mattress and pillows for our own home. Well done Mirage! Staff courteous as always and you cant beat eating at Carniege Deli. The pool and surrondings (granted older) is still beautiful and well maintained. Mirage is centrally located on the strip and is the only place we stay when we go to Vegas.

  • A clean,classy hotel. I was there during BeatleFest and saw the Love show. A great experience by Cirque De Soliel. Only complaint was outside of my room was view of broken glass and other debris on a roof by the 2nd floor. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay. Room was spotless, cleaned everyday by quality cleaning personal.

  • My wife and I absolutly love the Mirage. During our stay, during which we were married, we were comped a bottle of Champaign, got a room upgrade to strip view, they let us use a clothes steamer for my wifes wedding dress, for 2 days, and they picked up the tab for our wedding night dinner, $* with tip!!!!! We had 3lb Main Lobsters stuffed with King Crab, fresh asperigas tips and the best horseradish twice baked potatoes I have ever had. We also had a seafood apitizer that was wonderfull, and top shelf drinks all night. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull, all you have to do is ask, and its yours. The location is great, right between Treasure Island and Ceasers Palace, and accross the street from Harahs, Venetion, and the Flammingo. For a great time, walk accross the street to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, at the Flamingo. The Mirrage is the ONLY place my wife and I will stay when we go to Vegas, we were THAT impressed, try it, you wont be dissapointed.

  • After staying in 5 other hotels in Las Vegas, some with lower ratings, this was the worst hotel for the money. It is rated 4.5 star and should be a 2-3 at the highest. The room was barely average and definitely NOT worth the money. The pool area was nice but the adult pool was not open. I travel to Las Vegas at least 2 times per year and I will never stay here again.

  • The new rooms at the mirage are awesome. Construction does not interfere with your stay. The pool is crowded ealry with people saving chairs so if you want a spot you better be there early to lay a towel down. The only major dissapointment to the Mirage was the buffet. The quality is very poor with terrible dessert selections. Whoever is in charge of the buffet should be terminated because this used to be one of the best in town. Overall the Mirage is definitely a classy hotel with great service and awesome ammenities. I will stay there next time.

  • This is only my second time in Vegas. I liked the location of the Mirage, but thought the hotel could use some work. The beds were GREAT!! The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. The bathtub had a rust spot in it and the corners of the bathroom were not very clean. Also, they are very small. We did eat at 2 of the restaurants and they were outstanding! I would stay there again.

  • This is only my second time in Vegas. I liked the location of the Mirage, but thought the hotel could use some work. The beds were GREAT!! The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. The bathtub had a rust spot in it and the corners of the bathroom were not very clean. Also, they are very small. We did eat at 2 of the restaurants and they were outstanding!   • The Mirage could not be in a better location. Well for me and my girlfriend anyway (im 24 she is 23). Its right in the middle of the action, next to caesars, the venitien and treasure island. And we never payed more then 12 for a cab to go anywhere. There are fast food places across the street for random munchies and margaritaville which is an awesome place to kick back at within not even a 10 min walk. The Mirage is beautiful! The dolphin habitat is amazing and seeing all the lions is awesome too. The pool at the Mirage is gorgeous even just to hang out and have some drinks. Def recommend everyone go see LOVE. it is the most amazing show ever you will be amazed. Totally worth the money. and the revolution lounge is a pretty cool place as well. I know we will def be staying here again. And everyone was soooo nice and helpful!! This hotel could not have been better for us. OHHH and the beds are the most comfortable thing ever!!!!! and we had a strip view room and it was beautiful!! we love the mirage!!

  • Our hotel room at the Mirage was very, very nice. Plasma TV, marble bathroom and the most comfortable beds we ever slept on. Lines at the restaurant very long in the AM so look for the two coffe bars located in the lobby. We would certainly stay there again.

  • We had one of the newer rooms that have been remodeled. Good things: The bed and pillows were FANTASTIC!! The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was awesome. No smoky smell on our floor (14th) either. Not so good: Our shower faucet was impossible to turn on & off. We literally had to prop our foot on the shower wall to get the leverage to turn it on. My friend hurt her wrist trying to turn it on & the front desk did not care. They just said to fill out a report. We thought the customer service could have been much better, but all in all our stay was good other than that.

  • We had one of the newer rooms that have been remodeled. Good things: The bed and pillows were FANTASTIC!! The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was awesome. No smoky smell on our floor (14th) either. Not so good: Our shower faucet was impossible to turn on & off. We literally had to prop our foot on the shower wall to get the leverage to turn it on.   • This was the 4th consecutive September that the 6 of us were able to visit the Mirage for 6 nights. The renovated rooms are awesome and the beds are very, very comfortable. We received outstanding treatment at check-in and were given 3 rooms not only on the same floor but very close to each other. We love the pool, the location and the rooms at the Mirage and always stay at this property.

  • Just came back from a 4 night stay at the mirage, this was my second time in vegas but my boyfriends first. The hotel rooms are very nice since they are redone but the bathrooms arent the best craftsmanship, hard for two ppl to get ready in there at once but otherwise everything you need for a carefree vacation. Went to Onda which was not that great, the food either seemed watered down in flavor or just poorly seasoned. We also tried Stack Steakhouse, GREAT food, everything my boyfriend and I ordered was wonderful. We were on a budget so the hotel location was great, although the dennys across the street always had an hour+ wait the shops on either side of the hotel had nice food options for breakfast and lunch as well as the serendipity cafe on the strip in front of Ceasers is fairly priced and quite yummy. The mirage staff was very nice and the check-in grl was generous enough to give us a room on the 14th floor overlooking the strip when I told her the trip was a surprise gift. Security also starts checking keys for safety in the evening before you can get to the elevators, so you would have to come down and get any guests you might have visiting from other hotels. Finally, if you want to see any shows, most are offered at the tix4tonight stations around the strip at a discount ranging from * off original price except for the Cirque du Solie shows so get those ahead of time.

The rooms are wonderful - very updated, flat screen on the wall, granite, etc, very comfortable beds. The room service and quality of the food was great. The atmosphere at the entire resort is really wonderful and definitely high-end and is in a great location on the strip. Nearby hotels are the Wynn, Treasure Island, Ceasars Palace, Bellagio. We enjoyed lunch across the street at Jimmy Buffetts restauant (outside, right on the strip) and another lunch outside at the Wynns poolside restaurant. The only negative is we never won any money at all in the casino!! This will still be our choice for hotel if we return.

  • The Mirage is located right in the middle of the action (The Venetian, Bellagio, Ceasars Palace, etc.) Dont miss the vulcano at night and try to get there during summer time to see the dolphins and be able to access the pool. Besides that, we really enjoyed our time at The Mirage.

  • We had an excellent stay at the Mirage. From the over the top reuben sandwich at the Carnegie Deli, the amazing meal at Stack to the delightful drinks poolside. In the sweltering heat, the pool was an oasis! Had a fun night at Revolution nightclub as Jet was way too busy. The staff were friendly and super-accomodating and everyone in our party of 8 would go back to the Mirage. We only wished that we had more time.

It was too bad that the volcano wasnt working because it would have added to the overall experience. The only thing that we may have missed were some of the perks that other hotels were giving to there customers (free meals, free play or tickets) Overall our stay was very nice and we would do it again.

  • I stayed at the Mirage in August 2008 with my husband and sister. We had a fantastic time. The rooms were so nice and renovated. The casino and hotel were very clean, and they had great food. There is a burger restuarant in the hotel that was to die for, as well as a very elegant restuarant that was expensive but fantastic. We also went to the pool, which was really fun. It had great drinks. My sister and I also went to the spa which was very clean and nice. We got massages, and the staff was excellent. I will stay at the Mirage the next time I visit Vegas. A cab cost about $15 - $20 to go from one end of the strip to the other. The Mirage is located about in the middle, so it was about $10. My favorite experience was the Madame Tussauds at the Venetian across the street. Stay away from the north end of the strip because it is a dump.

  • Despite the beautiful pictures this hotel is older. The rooms were old. We booked a king - got 2 queens overlooking the. The restaurants were expensive, ($17 for a deli sandwich) the shops were expensive - $400 for a bathing suit. No shuttle to airport or anywhere. Pool didnt open until 9:00 am. $15 pp to get into the Dolphin & Tiger Exhibit. The sauna and workout room cost money to use. Very expensive - not worth the money. Check-out was at 11:00 - no accomodations for an 11:00 pm flight out - even though we did not check in on the first night until 12:00 am.
