  • The location of the hote might be convenient, close to a stores and food. But the rooms inside need work. The paint was chipping in the bathroom. There are two pools, the west pool I suggest to stay away from since its so close to the main road. Parking was a good deal-free. Theres only two ice machines in one building.

  • The location of the hote might be convenient, close to a stores and food. But the rooms inside need work. The paint was chipping in the bathroom. There are two pools, the west pool I suggest to stay away from since its so close to the main road. Parking was a good deal-free. Theres only two ice machines in one building.

  • I stayed only three days and two nights, in town for a business meeting. The atmosphere and facilities of this resort made it feel like my own personal vacation. Quiet walks, uncrowded exercise room, pools, spa. And yet I didn't have to take a cab to find restaurants and entertainment within a couple of blocks.

  • I stayed only three days and two nights, in town for a business meeting. The atmosphere and facilities of this resort made it feel like my own personal vacation. Quiet walks, uncrowded exercise room, pools, spa. And yet I didn't have to take a cab to find restaurants and entertainment within a couple of blocks.

  • Loved it. The room was clean and comfortable - beds were nice with extra pillows. All rooms have private balconies or terraces. The pool system here is incredible - several pools, large hot tub and beautifully landscaped besides. Theres an ice cream/gift shop in the pool area as well as a pool bar. The iced towels are a treat! Nice sauna and steam room facilities too- we went several times and had the place to ourselves every time. Obviously, most people are missing out on the best part of this place! The pools are open 24 hours which is wonderful. The grounds are gorgeous with walking trails and fountains. This is a nice place to just hang out and relax. Great location with every restaurant imaginable within a few minutes drive. The restaurant at the hotel is pricey and limited in menu and forget it if youre vegetarian......but theres plenty of places to eat close by so its not a big deal. The only thing I wasnt crazy about were the steps - these are two story buildings (16 of them scattered throughout the grounds) with no elevators, so you have to drag your luggage up stairs. Get a ground floor room if youre not willing to do that. Id definitely stay here again!

  • We were very happy with our visit! We had King room, which had had wood floors and was spacious and clean. Pool open 24 hours. Within walking distance to lots of restaraunts. Only complaint is that every time we went to the ice cream/coffee shop, it was closed and theres only 1 hottub!

  • We were very happy with our visit! We had King room, which had had wood floors and was spacious and clean. Pool open 24 hours. Within walking distance to lots of restaraunts. Only complaint is that every time we went to the ice cream/coffee shop, it was closed and theres only 1 hottub!

  • I have stayed several times at the Wyndham on Universal Drive and love everything about. The location, the pools, the grounds and the staff among other things have always been absolutely perfect.For a New Englander arriving in March and being able to step into a beautiful lush setting and wade into the heated pools is pure heaven. We usually are able to stay in Building 1 which overlooks the large lagoon with its center fountain. There is a great outdoor restaurant and bar set in between two of the pools for a perfect break from the sun.Any issues we ever may have had would always be resolved instantly by Jen B., head of housekeeping services, and a transplanted New Englander. She never fails to stop by and ask if there is anything we need that would make out stay more perfect.We are usually so worn out by the end of the day that all we need is peace and quiet. The Wyndham Orlando International Drive provides that and much, much more and I will continue to recommend this fine hotel to anyone traveling to Orlando.

  • I have stayed several times at the Wyndham on Universal Drive and love everything about.   • The resort was gorgeous. The room: 1. Roaches in the bathroom. 2. The TV remote did not work. 3. The tub drain was slow.We got a very quiet nights sleep and the resort was located near all Orlando attractions.The ""curb appeal"" of the resort was not sustained by the quality of the room.This was my first use of travelocity, and I did not realize that the Wyndham would chargean additional $7.00 ""resort fee"".

  • this hotel was great. we had a really comfortable king size bed then there was an area with bunk beds and their own tv for the kids. great price. beds were so comfy, cant stress that enough. several pools, everything you needed on sight. everyone was so nice and helpful. the hote was 4 minutes from universal studios where we went everyday. perfect location. in the evenings you could walk all down international drive if you didnt want to eat at the hotel. i would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone. will definately stay there again.

  • My family and I went for a quick weekend getaway and found Wyndham Orlando Resort online. We arrived in a rainy mess but found the check in speedy and the staff very friendly. Overall the staff was very helpful and friendly especially the staff and manager at the gift shop/ice cream parlor. The room was kept clean, as are the grounds. The resort is very pretty and the landscaping was wonderful. My favorite part was the wood floors in the room for someone with allergies and asthma in the family this was really great. No mildewy-musty-wet carpet which if you have stayed in florida in a hotel it seems to always be the case. The location was great central to everything what wasnt so great was navagating the no left or impossible left turns but that is anywhere you stay in Orlando. The pools (3) are in good shape but we expected heated pools to be warmer. It was great to have a pool open 24 hours. Over all this hotel/resort is wonderful and we would stay again for sure.

  • We live in Florida and try to get away from time to time but have never stayed at this location. This is a very romantic setting, in fact there were 2 weddings on the grounds when we stayed.   • We live in Florida and try to get away from time to time but have never stayed at this location. This is a very romantic setting, in fact there were 2 weddings on the grounds when we stayed. Staff is great, room was great, location is within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. We never used our car for the entire 4 days and 3 nights there. Will stay here again!

  • Walked in front door and thought Id walked into the wrong place - di not look like photos. But then headed for room and it turned out to be a nice place. Only real complaint is that kids and teens were SCREAMING at all three pools. One should be set aside for those who want a little more relaxing sit by the pool

  • Wyndham Orlando Resort was a pleasurable stay. Thought all rooms were located inside as in a full service hotel, but rooms are all outside entrance. Did like the hardwood floors in the rooms, great idea. Grounds were kept up very well. Pool area was very enticing as well as the poolside bar :). BEWARE there are creepy crawly lizards everywhere. Location is GREAT we were close to everything Universal Studios is about 5 min away. Sea World is about 5 min away, right across the street there is a huge Fridays Sports Bar and Lounge and about 2 blocks up the street there is a Ponderosa with a big breakfast buffet. Overall stay was Good...I do have 2 minor complaints front desk had to be called twice about remote control that would not work and even after tech came to fix or replace the remote, after a few changing of the channels remote stopped working once again and molding around the bathtub could have been cleaned or redone ther were signs of some mold not alot but people do notice the small things. I would suggest this resort to all my family and friends and I would stay again.

  • Excellent pet service, would stay again, plenty of room for my puppy to roam, gave us room with no carpet which made cleaning easy. Guard was mean to my fiaance, we complained and they offered apologies, but there was no need to questions our stay. Food too pricey, better going to area restaurants. Pools good especially the one in the back.

  • Excellent pet service, would stay again, plenty of room for my puppy to roam, gave us room with no carpet which made cleaning easy. Guard was mean to my fiaance, we complained and they offered apologies, but there was no need to questions our stay. Food too pricey, better going to area restaurants. Pools good especially the one in the back.

  • We decided to stay here a few days and then head to Daytona Beach. We loved this hotel and would have loved to stay here again. It had 3 swimming pools and a hot tub. A nice bar/resteraunt and an excellent icecream shop. The hotel was very clean, the staff was wonderful.. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  • This hotel is a campus facility. It occupies almost a city block along International Drive and is large enough that the staff shuttle around in golf carts to serve its customers. The sample photos depict roomy suites with wonderful lagoon views. But dont be fooled, these are their top-of-the-line accommodations. There are indeed low priced ""closets"" that have a parking lot view you may be placed in as well, depending on the price you pay, so be sure you are reserving the room you really want. The room we had was clean but we had difficulty getting the staff to supply us towels of all things. They removed them from the room on the first day and that was it. After several calls to the desk and a day and a half of doing without we finally drove to the front desk to get the problem resolved. This may just be an isolated case but was very inconvenient.The grounds are beautiful, they remind you of a botanical garden and there are walking paths throughout the campus which is very peaceful even though it is nestled in the middle of a busy section of town.International Drive gets extremely congested so the hotel can be difficult to get in and out of, however they do offer shuttles to the various attractions but only until 11:00 AM. After that you will need to call a Taxi or drive yourself.Overall, I would stay again but probably would pay a little more for a better room.

  • This is NOT a nice Hotel. The room was old with lots of marks on the walls. We are very dissapointed that online rated this as a 4 star. After this we are not very trusting of the online company picks!

  • This is really a resort; there are around 16 buildings. Location is great just off I-4 on International Blvd with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and theme parks within an easy drive from the resort. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Bed was quite comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, so I wouldnt recommend it for a larger family. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. My only problem was figuring out the television system in the room.I wasn not familiar with this particular cable style and there were movies and shows you could purchase.They need to print instructions for what buttons to push for basic TV. I ended up purchasing what I thought was a TV show by not knowing what I was doing. I did call the front desk and they told me they would make sure I wasnt charged for it and they kept their word. I didnt use the facilities as far as pool, spa, and dining as I had plenty of other activities to keep me busy in the Orlando area. I would highly recommend this for business/professional people, as well as someone looking for a moderately priced very clean and comfortable weekend getaway.

Room was a ground floor unit with laminate floor that was a dead giveaway that there was a flooding issue. Room was very musty, had to go across the street to Walgreens to get a candle to burn all night. Considering we booked the night before & arrived near midnight on a holiday weekend we could not be picky about the room. We were looking for something economical before we checked into Hardrock the next day. If you could get a room that smelled okay it would not be a bad option.

The room was not clean, and it smelled musty. When we checked in I noticed trash on the floor of the hotel room and the entire 4 days we were there it was not picked up. Which leads me to believe the housekeeping is not where it needs to be.

The bellman would give you rides to your room and to the lobby in the golf carts, free of charge (just tip). Room was in good condition. Would definitely stay again.

  • My daughter & I stayed here for a night and were disgusted. Look closely at the candid photos on tripadvisors review page. I unfortunately do not have any photos to share. We waited for over 20 minutes to get checked in. We were given a room that was outside the secured area (most other buildings are behind a lock zone which people need a room key to enter). Our room which was on ground level w/ a sliding door was fully accessible and anyone could have knocked on our door - or attempted to come in. We felt very unsafe. Strike 1 When I requested another room I was told there werent any due to a large group of conventioners in town. Strike 2 The room when we entered reeked of chlorine bleach. The wall/ceiling had water damage and some mold growing. The beds were uncomfortable, the decor old, bathroom in bad need of renovation. The bathroom also came with roaches. Strike 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. This Wyndham is right on busy International Drive. Unless you enjoy traffic jams and excessive traffic areas - do not stay here. International Drive is notorious for high traffic at all hours. I would instead get something off the drive and use the very convenient trolly that goes up & down the drive all day long. They have a website - google it. Stirke 9. his reservation was made through online (calling it a 3 star hotel - Ha ha! Jokes on us) and we had no choice but to stay, or lose our money completely. We will not be using online make your own price option again. DO NOT STAY~
