  • We stayed only from 10:30pm to checkout, but everything about the hotel was enjoyable, We spent a couple hours at the heated indoor swimming pool before we checked out on a rainy memorial day weekend. I would stay here again.

  • Recently, I had a solo overnight stay at the Reno Hilton Garden Inn. Although the hotel is located along Hwy 395 south of the city, it is a relatively quiet area with fairly new industrial and retail development. Although six or so miles from downtown Reno, it is a convenient drive to the airport and into the downtown area. Hotel personnel at the reception desk were friendly enough, and efficient. I found the room to be very nice. The furniture was good looking and comfortable and the carpet was well maintained to the point that I wouldnt have hesitated walking on it in my bare feet. The television was a new flat screen set with a good picture. There were an abundance of both free cable and pay-per-view options. The bedding was attractive and fresh and the mattress afforded me a good nights sleep. The bathroom and shower were very clean and well-lit. The breakfast buffet is not complimentary but offered a good variety. While there are not a lot of quality (non-fast food) restaurants in the immediate area for breakfast or dinner, there are a couple being built nearby. The one negative I encountered was that the morning desk clerk was decidedly unfriendly and curt when answering a question. However, I will not hesitate to stay there again.
