  • W Atlanta was nice to us and the stay would have been OK but for what happened on the Saturday night before we leave. The hotel staff allowed, and then tolerated, a party that occupied the floor above our room to party from midnight till 4:30 a.m.! Despite complaints from us and other guests, they did nothing to stop it, and it was only after many calls to complain that they offer us another room to move to. By that time it was 4 a.m., and they actually expect we would be satisfied by being given the chance to sleep 2 hours ... no compensation, no apologies for their mishandling of a rowdy group. I will never return.

Time would be much better spent elsewhere.

  • The hotel is FANTASTIC!!! The staff were all very courteous...often going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The only drawback was the "mixer" they have on the weekends. Its best to get a room not too close to the club on the top floor and not too close to the bottom. Otherwise...it was an ideal place for rest and relaxation.

  • The W hotel in Buckhead was excellent. It is a brand new hotel and the rooms were clean, well designed and very comfortable. My wife and daughters really enjoyed the location as it was in easy walking distance of the best shopping in Buckhead. The staff were courteous and well trained. The only negative to our stay was excessive noise from the upstairs bar on the 12th floor . Our room was on the llth floor and we could hear the music, conversations and dancing quite clearly and this continued until 2 am, after which we listened to the hotel staff clean up and rearrange furniture for the next hour. So, unless you are planning to party in the bar until closing time, ask for a room on a lower floor.

  • My family has travelled the world and never received the level of service we did fromevery member of this team we came in contact with during our 3 night stay. The propertyis brand new, so everything was sparkling and NEW!!The Market-the restaurant on premises was also some of the best hotel food we haveever eaten. It was top restaurant quality from the beef short ribs my husband and I ate tothe burgers and fries my kids ordered. The french toast offered on the breakfastmenu was delicious and they even re-opened the breakfast menu so we could orderit again even though they were closed and preparing to serve lunch!!It was our first experience staying at a W, which the decor is very contemporary, butwelcoming and cozy. The lobby has many sitting areas and alcoves which invites youto just sit and relax and play a game of tic tac toe on the oversized boards on the coffeetables.If you enjoy making your own cup of coffee or tea, you must call down for a maker to bedelivered since it is not standard in the room upon arrival.If rating on a star scale this hotel deserves a 10!!

  • Stayed at the hotel for my wifes 21st birthday. Didnt know what to expect b/c we dont usually stay at places like this, but we had to do it big for her, plus its in a prime location with Lenox Square Mall and great places to eat. The valet service was on point (caught the wife off guard), they were very quick to get the doors and to get our bags. Check-In was a little slow due to the rapper Fabulous being there, but that wasnt a big deal. We stayed in the Fabulous room, was a little smaller than I pictured it but it served it purpose and was very clean and very neat. The Whiskey Blue seemed to be like a chill & relax lounge, but it was very packed and the DJ was playing more dance music while people sat and stood around (except for a bachorlette party group that was dancing on a coffee table), so it kind of killed the mood I was looking for. The only real down side was in the middle of the night, people going in and out of their rooms, you can hear their door slam and some guy was in the hall talking on his phone.Overall the hotel was great. Excellent decor. Staff was very helpful and fast. Be prepared to spend a lot.
