  • Everything was good with the hotel. Bed was VERY comfortable. We had a very good maid that was very friendly & took excellent care of our room. The hotel was hosting a couple of conventions, but all services & requests were handled professionally.Only downside is that the room decor needs to be updated a bit and they charge $13 a day for internet which is a little much in this day & age.

  • A very nice hotel. Very comfortable beds and nice rooms. Great room service menu. Good security and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there when we visit Philly again.

  • A very nice hotel. Very comfortable beds and nice rooms. Great room service menu. Good security and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there when we visit Philly again.

  • philly has a great skyline! you wil not see from this hotel. it is referred to as rising majestically (or something like that), it is actually dwarfed by other buildings around it., it is alo starting to show its age and the first room i was assigned should be a closet. on the good side is location, it is clean and i believe most of the staff did the best they could on a busy 4th.

  • The Marriott downtown was great. The hotel staff was helpful and very nice, they made us feel very welcome. We were in walking distance of alot of the touristy things, the Reading Market is right there and it has alot to offer. Macys is just around the corner and restaurants are very close. Our room was very clean and comfy. We had no complaints except we went to the football game and our team lost :( but the Eagles fans are so supportative of their team its hard not to have a good time. We would go back, the people in philly are very friendly to tourist.The hotel exceeded our expectations. Great breakfast bar in the restaurant downstairs a little pricey but very good.

  • The Marriott downtown was great. The hotel staff was helpful and very nice, they made us feel very welcome.   • Front desk employee during check-in was uninformed, but friendly. She had no clue how the valet parking system operated. Upon checkout, I replied that we had to change rooms the first morning of our stay because of someone elses hair not being cleaned out of our allegedly cleaned bathtub. The staff person asked how the new room was. I replied it was fine, but that was only after we repacked our stuff and changed rooms with the assistance of some friendly staff members. She said sorry. Have a nice day.FYI, Im not one of those people who sends backs meals or regularly nitpicks just to complain. But this is a pricey hotel and the experience reminded me more of roadside motel room. Next time Ill stay at Loews.

  • The hotel was great, it is located in the middle of many restaurants such as chilis and the hardrock cafe. The beds are outrageously comfortable and room service is very prompt in the morning. My only complaint would be the amount of time it takes to get to and from your rooms. The elevators take FOREVER. Also the swimming pool is a major disappointment, half the time was spent shoulder to shoulder with someone else from the hotel. The swimming pool is way to small for the amount of people the hotel holds, so if you have kids that look forward to swimming I would go elsewhere. Otherwise it is a great hotel.

  • the downtown marriott hotel is the best location in which to see all of the historic sites without an automobile. we felt safe walking everywhere. the hotel was neat, clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. we did not care for the food in the hotel, but there was a wonderful mellon market across the street with 200 eateries there. we loved the location. the staff was very courteos and prompt in helping us obtain cabs when needed. will stay here again.
