Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon is located in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, and is only four miles from McCarran International Airport. This ideal location is next to the Flamingo and across the street from Caesars Palace.
Bill's casino features 680 slot and video poker machines, table games, complimentary craps lessons, and a race and sports book. Live entertainment includes an Elvis impersonator, lounge entertainers, and other live acts. Dining options include Drai's, featuring a dining room that converts into a nightclub after midnight (Wed-Sun), and the Steakhouse at Bill's. The hotel also houses the 24-hour Victorian Room, a coffee shop serving Chinese and American cuisines including breakfast. They also have a Seattle's Best Coffee House. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service, concierge assistance, currency exchange, dry cleaning, 24-hour front desk service, and free valet parking.
All newly renovated rooms feature plasma TVs, pay movies, climate control, telephones, voicemail, high-speed Internet access, tub/shower combinations, blackout drapes, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, and clock radios. - This was our first stay at Bills. We were a regular at the Barbary Coast and decided to give it a try. Now heres the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. GOOD= Parking only a short walk from your room, if youve ever stayed at Planet Hollywood you know what I mean. Location is within walking distance of Everything. 99 cent Margaritas!! Nice, comfortable rooms. BAD= Lousy Casino, Poor(non existent)Service, No food worth eating other than $1.75 hot dogs(good), young and noisy clientele. UGLY= If you are on the Flamingo Ave side there is All Night Noise!!! Im not kidding this place is like being next to a freeway with the added bonus of Screaming Banshees, Really noisy. But youll have a view of the fountains. Thats good.NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. You can open a window to get some fresh air and you have individual HVAC controls. This for us was a plus in our hope of not getting hotel sick. Fresh, not recirculated air will keep you away from the Big Hotel Blues. Theres no hotel shop to speak of but Batistas Hole In the Wall is right outside the door, good for Beer, Chips, Antacids, Groceries, Water(dont drink Vegas Water) etc. This hotel is good for partiers, young people on a budget and the deaf. Hope you enjoy it, Well be at the Monte Carlo. By the way, There is NO BETTER WAY to travel than Travel agency, I love this Site.

However, starting at check-in, I was pleasantly suprised by the cleanliness and quality of service. When I arrived at my room, to my suprise, I saw I was even complementarily upgraded to a two room suite! It was worth every cent!When leaving, I found my suitcase handle had broken. I asked to borrow a screwdriver to do some repair work but instead they sent their maintenance staff to fix the problem themselves.I will definitely book my hotels through my online travel website in the future and stay at this place again!

Amazing view from my window and the beds are amazing and confortable. Room service was amazing. I had a problem with my key and someone was sent right away to fix it. The only problem is that there is alot of noise at night, but hey ITS VEGAS BABY. If i had to go back, i would definetivly stay there again.

- I really enjoyed my stay here...From my arrival ""X, the doorman"" was a big help also ""Y, the nite doorman"". I lost my phone there and the security found it and returned it safely, there was alot of security there. I stayed in the mutual room betting the horses during the day, the book takers were very nice and friendly. The room was great, nice big bed and very clean...AS you will see Its a small hotel quick check-in and check-out( 12 oclock check-out) . Nothing bad I can say about Bills, its in the middle of everthing, I went to 2 shows right next door at Paris and Ballys, ( the best show I saw was ""OHH LA LA at the Paris hotel, it was great , be there 1 hour early and get front row seats also it was 50% off the price that nite, the girls in the show are stunning)also go to ""Jubliee at Ballys.. the Duese bus takes you every where for $5.oo for 24 hours, the drivers not to friendly, try the LAS shuttle it is a whole lot better, catch it next to MGM between MGM and Coke Cola hotels , you can catch a free shuttle there also to Hard Rock Cafe( t-shirts only $22.00) Im already making plans to go back to Vegas

- Great location. Friendly Staff; no problem with early check-in. Clean and comfortable accomadations. Restaurant was no-frills but great food. Casino is very small by Strip standards, but you are right in the heart of the Strip. Discounted Ticket Booth (shows and dining) right in the Casino. If you are looking for a Luxury stay, dont book here. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable hotel (3 or 4 night stay for the price of 1 night across the street) in the heart of the Strip, you cant beat Bills.

- We have stayed here twice before this trip. We love the location and the view. The price was great. The casino is small but you are surrounded by large casinos (Balleys, Planet Hollywood, Paris, Caesars, Flamingo, etc.). Would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE.

- We checked in only to find our reservation was for 2 people not 3 as booked 8 months prior.Since we checked in late on Saturday night, they had no other rooms with 2 beds and to send a rollup bed to our room. We found out the next day the hotel, not the booking company screwed up the reservation. So we demanded comped dinners for the error, and after a long process with the pit boss, we got the comped dinners for the error. We got a new room also early the next day with 2 beds. The plasma TV in the rooms was a nice perk. The room itself was very generic. Food was decent. Overall the great location is what brings us here, its not somewhere to impress a date.

- Great location in the new section of The Strip, but it is not for families or light sleepers. rooms overlook major streets so you can here sirens and traffic noise. Also, not the best choice for people with kids. HOWEVER, if you are in Las Vegas to gamble and hit the various restaurants and are travelling without kids, it is a great location. Easy access to Caesars Venetian, Bellagio, MGM, Rio, Paris, NY NY, Wynn and so forth. Also, easy access to bus stops where for $5 (I think) you can get an all day pass to go up and down The Strip, including Mandaly Bay. Bonus - take some time go to one of the gun ranges, rent a gun or two, buy some ammo and get in some trigger time. My room was neat, tidy and surprisingly large for a single occupancy.

- Yehaaaw!!! My friend and I stayed at Bills last summer and were extremely pleased with our experience. Our television did not work our first night so the on-duty manager hooked us up in a fantastic suite for the night. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds, unbelievably comfortable. It is not the most attractive hotel nor the most extravagant. It features a simple casino floorplan with a small one stop shop counter, a lounge featuring various live acts, and two bars. Admittedly, it looks shameful compared to The Flamingo or Casears. However, the location could not be more perfect. You are located directly in the middle of the strip surrounded by Ceasars, Bailys, The Flamingo, Harrahs, Casino Royale and several entertainment attractions and great restaurants. In reality, less is more being that all the luxurious casinos are practically next door and you can visit at your convenience and save money. Your room key will also grant you access to the gorgeous Flamingo swimming pool. The hotel also has a hearty breakfast and serves. For the price, location, and comfort; Bills is a travelers smart choice!

- Hotel is small but the staff are nice, easy to park and not far to walk. It is in the middle of the strip and you dont have to worry about walking too far. Bathrooms are small but clean. Hallways need improvement they are dark and have old carpeting.

- We really liked Bills Gamblin Hall and Saloon. We arrived at the hotel at 12:00 PM and we were able to get checked in right away. The staff was friendly. I was happy that the room looked just like it did on the internet. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The flat screen TV was great. The hotel has a margarita bar and the margaritas are only $.99. They also sell cans of beer for $2.00 which is a steal in Vegas. The Victorian Room which is a restaurant at the hotel has just okay food and its pretty pricy. The location of the hotel is great in the center of the strip. For the price of the hotel it was definitely a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone.

- Barbary Coast was enjoyable, in part due to the extremely friendly and helpful staff- from the front desk to engineering. (A problem in my room was fixed VERY quickly.) The room (clean and nice) is a sort of Victorian theme (the type easily confused for old west bordello- but tastefully done), with a bit of anachronism: a large wall-mounted plasma TV. (Ive been in a few Bellagio penthouse suites, and they dont even have plasmas!) A stained glass window in my shower (a nice touch) opened to let in some air. Ill stay at BC again!

- It is THE center of the strip; Bally's, Caesar's, Bellagio, Flamingo are all RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOORS. Can't ask for better location than that. Rooms are Ultra-quiet. Could not hear a peep from outside without opening bathroom window (from the 3rd floor). Rooms are wonderfully comfortable; beds, shower, flat-screen TVs all great. Casino floor is small but fun. Long wait for bellman and only 1 restaurant of suspect quality, but no complaints otherwise. You won't stick around when not in your room, but it's Vegas! For quiet sanctuary, request room NOT facing strip like mine.

- My husband and I stayed at Bills for the first time for his birthday and had a great experience. So much so, that I have already booked our next trip to Bills. The location is the best--it is literally the center of the universe on the Strip. And because of its small size its very easy to get to the rooms quickly without a long hike. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. And the beds were very comfy.

- Staying at Bills Gamblin Hall was a great choice.Very clean rooms.All staff was friendly, I was impressed by the personalism there, they are still a small hotel. Esp. the service from a cocktail waitress, Heather and Bellman, Don. I would stay there again!

- I mean, Cmon... Bills Gamblin Hall? Talk about a generic name.... That said, I booked the place because the recent Travel agency reviews of it were very good. There was some good, and some bad... First the bad.. When we arrived, we were taken to our room, and it was a disaster. Towels were on the floor, and the bed had a crusty substance on it that I could not identify. The other bad item is that the casino is VERY smoky. Being an older building it is understandable, but we spent very little cash there. I never saw the casino very full, so it would behoove them to change the environment in there if theyd like more revenue. Also I found the slots to be very tight. Cmon guys, youre not NY,NY or Bellagio....you cant afford not to loosen things up....again....it will net you more revenue in the long run.Now the good.. The staff reacted very quickly to get us into another room. The new room was spotless. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. I have a sleep number bed at home, so I expect to be disappointed, but was surprized.... The new HD TVs are a nice touch, but they didnt offer HD programming to take advantage. The location is fantastic. You are right across from Caesars and Bellagio with Flamingo to the right and Ballys/Paris to the left. The parking is free, and is a little hidden so there are always spots available. Id stay there again, but it would be more about the location than the place itself.

- Bills is right next to the Flamingo and the Bellagio in the center of the most popular sites on the Strip--GREAT location! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our shower was clogged when we checked in and when the maid was servicing she called the hotel engineer. We got brand new fixtures in our shower. Its not the best view from the room, but the beds are comfy and the big screen tvs are AMAZING. I was also expecting to smell smoke in the rooms, but there wasnt much smell at all. Well definitely stay here again! :)

- Me and my wife had a great time. We stayed 4 days. The staff was friendly and kind. Everybody was helpful. We had a problem with the tub not drainig fast my wife made a call to the front desk and it was fixed in the next 5 minutes. I highly recommend stay at this hotel. It is in the middle of the strip so you can get to all the casinos.

- My best friend and I went to Vegas to celebrate my birthday. We were supposed to stay Harrahs and due to some problems we were relocated to BIlls Gamblin Hall. Both of us were a little upset, but were surprised by the service once we got there. There was problems with the reservation and X worked hard to get everything corrected without any effort on our part. She even gave a room with an excellent view. Then the bellhop, Y, took us to our room. I have never had this happen in the other hotels. He gave us a tour of where everything was that we would need and even showed us the special things of our room. And what can I say about the food....excellent.....we ate there three days and never had a bad meal. Let me suggest the 14.95 prime rib....yummy! The best part about staying at this hotel was how easy it was to get to our rooms and the great location to the other hotels. My friend and I love going to Margaritaville and were happy that it was right there. Also you can not get lost getting to rooms, there is only two elevators and you dont have to worry about being in the correct tower or the one for the correct floor. And the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I ever slept on. The plasma TV was a nice bonus too. I enjoyed Bills so much that I am planning on staying there again next year.

- Bills was great, Clean rooms, really comfortable beds, great staff everyone was nice, clean, and very helpful. Parking was easy since they have there own parking garage, check in and check out was great no lines I just walked up and they took care of me right then. The lounge area was a lot of fun Big Elvis was great, the other bands were good and Karioke night was so much fun. The gambling was fun at Bills they have a lot of different machines and table to choose from. We were able to walk or ride the monorail anywhere we wanted, Bills is in a great location on the Strip, pretty much right in the middle so you can go where ever you want from this little jewel of a casino. We were all very happy with our choice to stay at Bills and would definately return.Thank you for the great place to stay on hte stripKathi

- From the outside the Hotel does not look that good, but looks are deceiving.The rooms were large and clean. The staff were helpful, 99 cent Margaritas were dangerous, great music at night.
