  • I went with my girlfriend for three days. We were very pleased with our stay. The front desk staff was polite and helpful. The room was nice except the faucet leaked a little on the counter. Im sure they would have switched rooms for us if we would have asked. I dont know much about the restaurant because all we ordered were chicken wings during happy hour, and they were a little less than okay.The location is good. We walked to King St for the restaurants and shops and there are buses that run by the front of the hotel. The hotel also has a free shuttle to and from the airport. The metro rail station is about two miles away and it is so nice. Gets you to the heart of DC in less than half an hour. You can also rent bikes. Oh, and the pool is a highlight, but it is an outdoor, rooftop pool so its weather dependent.There are some nicer hotels located right on King St but those are obviously going to cost more. The Crowne Plaza has my approval. Youll enjoy it.

  • The hotel was very clean and remodeled. We had a great view of the Potomac River below. The hotel is only one street from the river and the bike path. The staff was very helpful. They had a complimentary shuttle that would take you to the Metro and the Ronald Reagan Airport. It only took us about 15 minutes to get on the Metro to go to D.C. for touring. The restaurant had good food and reasonably priced. We would definately stay there again. We drove to King Street (which was about 5 minutes away) and shopped and dined as well.
