  • Located on the outskirts of Montreal but metro access makes it a great place to stay. Have stayed here a number of times over the years. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean , some furnishing are showing wear but this is a busy hotel year round, great location for sports teams and tour groups. You can park your car and never have to move it until it is time to go home. Metro access to any wheres in the city of interest, Six Flaggs amusement park for the kids, the Montreal Casino for the ""big"" kid, Old Montreal for great dining and site seeing, the Bell Center for sporting events/concerts, underground shopping plazas. This is a nice safe/secure place to come with your family at a good price. Well stay there again.

  • Stayed here with my husband, another couple and two 13-year old boys. Rooms were comfortable, and the boys made use of the pool. Staff was very courteous. The best feature was the location -- literally next door to the Longueuil metro station -- just two stops away from the heart of Montreal. The metro station also featured a McDonalds, Subway, Tim Hortons, pizza place, deli, grocery store, bank machines and liquor store, so we had everything we could want close by. The only thing that needed improvement was Internet access. No wireless access (only Internet TV for a price). Great stay!

  • I cant remember the last time that I was so pleased with a hotel stay. Considering how inexpensive the room rates are, I was expecting a not-so-nice hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the hotel staff informative and friendly. The best part was the location, the hotel is located literally across the street from the entrance to the Metro, so we had easy access to the tourist attractions all over the city. I will definitely be staying here the next time Im in Montreal!

  • We were pleasantly surprised that for a very reasonable price (we stayed here 5 nights for a about $* a night) we had a very nice, clean room with a view of Montreal. My 2 elementary school age kids swam in the indoor pool daily (also well maintained) and we loved taking the metro which was literally next door to the hotel. Parking was included in the rate, making this an even better deal. I was so pleased by our experience that for the first time ever, I submitted a review about a hotel.

  • Other than the fact the the Metro station is directly across the street there would be no compelling reason to stay here. I stayed here as it was close to where I had business and the fact the the F1 Grand Prix was this weekend and made rooms very scarce and expensive. The room was overdue for a makeover and new mattress. This was a former Radisson hotel and reminded me of an old Hoiliday Inn. The hotel is next to the freeway so there is some noise. It wasnt bad for me as my room did not face the freeway. The room could use some more soundproofing. There are very limited dining options close by. The breakfest is OK. If you have to stay at the hotel for dinner then piizza is the best option. My advice, for 2.75, take the metro to the McGill Station, where there are plenty of dining options at the mall or in town. If youre a runner you need to go about 2 km to get over the bridge to run by the river. The gym didnt open until 6:30am which made it useless for me. Having the metro station nearby was great as it beats driving in Montreal. Also the Metro station has small grocery store and a few food options. Overall I would look for another hotel next time but it wouldnt kill me to stay here again.

  • The location of the Hotel is good because you have the metro located maybe 4 ft from it, so you dont have to drive you car leave it in the parking lot that the hotel have. if you are on the upper floors you have a beautifull view. very is to get around you are almost in the center of every thing. the only problem is getting to the hotel for the first time is little tricky- because they dont have i sign point you to the hotel so can go around a couple of time trying to find the entrance and if you lucky enough you will see it right off the high-way. other than that the hotel is very nice good place to enjoy a low key vacation with families or nice little romance get-away. i defenitely recommand it

  • The location to the subway was excellent and with free parking it is a good location, The breakfast was ok, The dinner wasnt that great, however with the subway next door go explore Montreal and find a decent dinner. The location was excellent you get a good view of La Ronde and the biosphere. The price was good espically since parking is included. I would stay again as it is so close to downtown. My kids liked the pool, it did have a small area for toddlers so they could play in the water without holding them the whole time or worring about them getting to the deeper end.

  • Although my husband and I were disappointed with the location of the hotel in relation to the Palais des Congres where my conference was, the metro was right next door and it was an easy ride there. Its a little misleading to name the hotel Sandman Montreal Longueuil whern its definitely in Longueuil. Make sure you factor in the expensive Metro rides if you will be staying here.Overall, this was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and was not rude when I didnt speak French. The business center was nicely appointed and I was able to print out my conference presentation. Maid service was prompt and well done. The best part however was dinner at the restaurant. When we arrived at Saturday evening, we went into Montreal to register for the conference and to look for something to eat, only to find at 7 PM in the evening, nothing was open. We returned to the hotel and were wary about getting dinner there with how bad hotel food could be. However, I had a wonderful glazed duck leg, with soup and dessert and one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time. The breakfast was a completely different story...I would avoid it if you can.We will be returning to Montreal next summer with our family and will definitely consider staying here if the price is still good.

  • I took my wife and 2 year old daughter on our regular summer trip to Quebec and this is by far the best value for the money hotel we have stayed in. The pool had a shallow childrens area and a great view of the Cartier Bridge. Our room was on the East side of the hotel and had a great view of the St. Lawerence, La Ronde, and the Olympic stadium. Travel times to tourist areas in Montreal were very short as the bridge was immediately next to the hotel. The only disappointment I had was that I was not informed of renovations until I checked in. However, they were only during the hours of 9 to 5.Thanks online travel website!

  • Nice hotel. Very clean. The pool was clean and private. We had it all to ourselves. No more clorine used than in any other public pool. Fitness equipment was new and gym quality. Metro was easy to use. Just 2 stops to be in the city. Free parking was great and secure. Have recommended this hotel to friends. Room was fairly small with no table or refrig. but was fine for a family of four. We used the desk for a table. We had a nice view of the city. The restaurant was fairly expensive: $9.75 for a hamburger and $22.00 for a dinner meal. We did not eat there. We had most of our meals in the city. There is a McDonalds in the Metro station next door if youre desperate.
