  • This hotel was clean, quiet,and very comfortable beds and linens, the waterpark was a lot of fun and would be great for little ones. I had teenagers and they still had a great time. The waterpark lifeguards were interactive with the kids, The poolside tiki bar was a fun place for adults to hang out and socialize> XXX the bartender was a likeable guy. They are undergoing expansion, which will make it even a better location in the future and did not interfere with our vacation at all. My only opinion would be not to go here if you do not have a car, because they do not have many restaurants in walking distance (Dennys and Mc Donalds ) The tiki bar has good light meanls (hamburgers, chicken wings) although a little pricey.

  • We came here with friends to get away from the snow in April and we were very happy with the hotel room. very clean and great beds with very soft linen. However, what the site doesnt tell you is that there is a $8.00 a day charge for ""ameneties"" to use the waterpark that is added to your bill upon arrival. So dont think that it is free or in the cost of your room. The bath towels are awesome, thick and soft like in the really expensive hotels. House keeping did a great job. There is a pool side bar where you can get food, but get there early because they run out fast and the food is kind of pricey (2-people hot dogs, chips and soda- $20.00). it is a 20-30 minute drive to disney and universal. and there are a lot of toll roads to get to the hotel but other than that it was a great stay. oh, yea they have NO LATE CHECK OUT. So plan your trip accordingly.

However, what the site doesnt tell you is that there is a $8.00 a day charge for ""ameneties"" to use the waterpark that is added to your bill upon arrival.   • We booked online because of the waterpark, heated pools, jacuzzi in the room, etc sounded cool to my teens to get away for the weekend. When we arrived, the checkin process was slow, painful & the staff unknowledgeable. We had a bad feeling overall due to appearance and location of the hotel (slummy area surrounds it) but decided to make the most of it and go see our room. However, we couldnt do that! Even though it was 5:00pm and check in time was for 4:00pm our room was not yet ready!! When we finally got to our room about 6:00 we decided to change and go hang out by the pool. We came to find out that the waterpark totally shut down at 7:00pm and the tiny, overcrowded swimming pool was the only thing open. So my kids went to the arcade and I returned to the room to sit in the jacuzzi. The next morning for breakfast, I was charged someone elses ticket for twice the cost of mine. The staff didnt know how to correct it and when the manager took care of it, it still showed up on my VISA so I had to dispute the charge myself to get it taken care of. Then the waterpark which was supposed to open at 10am didnt open until 11am & they only had one lifeguard operating two levels of slides so when she was on the lower slides the top ones were shut down and vice versa!! The pool was NOT heated until I complained to the manager and he turned on the heater citing renovation activities in one entire bldg was causing reduced power to run it. WHAT? Once we did get in the lazy (heated) river, we did have a few hours of fun.

  • I paid the extra for the pool side view and could only see a big blue cabana! I called many times to be moved and was told they were full even on days when not many people were there! We called many times one night to get room service and never got through. The game room ate many coins and received no credits.The dinning areas we sat two different nights to try to get food and nobody was around to serve us and the people that had been eating said they waited forever too, so both nights we left! I was not happy that most everything closed early so if you are out and about all day and come back to expect food drinks or swiming or relaxing in hot tub, it all closed around 7. The kids did love the swiming areas however! It was great for that and kept them busy!

  • The hotel was nice and my son loved the water park area. The staff was very friendly, the only thing that I didnt like was I chose to use a shuttle from the airport and he charged me $75.00 round trip. Also, the shuttle to Disney leaves at 9:30 am and does not come and get you until 10:pm. Their restaurant food is good, but they close around 5:30. The hotel is 30 minutes from Disney so I strongly recommend having a rental car and staying away from the shuttle service so you can buy groceries.

  • The hotel was nice and my son loved the water park area. The staff was very friendly, the only thing that I didnt like was I chose to use a shuttle from the airport and he charged me $75.00 round trip. Also, the shuttle to Disney leaves at 9:30 am and does not come and get you until 10:pm. Their restaurant food is good, but they close around 5:30. The hotel is 30 minutes from Disney so I strongly recommend having a rental car and staying away from the shuttle service so you can buy groceries.

  • My husband and I stayed here last May. The shower/tub would not drain. After asking for someone to check it out and nothing being done, I pulled the cover from the drain and found a clump of misc colored hair mixed with slime! I showed it to the managers and they didnt seem concerned at all! Said they have some cleaning staff that dont speak english and have hard time communicating with them! I was appalled! I asked for something to clean the drain with, and was told they would have a cleaner come take care of it. I said...oh one of you cleaners you cant communicate with? I went to a little store and bought a bottle of bleach which I poured into the tub 1/2 full of water and left to soak for the day. They offered us a ""cabana"" for a day as a customer service...we were there a week and the room/shower NEVER got cleaned, by anyone but me....I would not take my kids to such a filthy place!

  • We brought our 6 year old daughter to the the Magic Kingdom, and chose this hotel for the waterpark. The two queen bed room was spacious and clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, and we all enjoyed the waterpark!! Coffee in the room, good buffet breakfast available for a small cost. For less than the cost of a single one day admission to the park, and half the price to stay in a value resort on Disney property, we got a comfortable room and a days worth of entertainment! I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family with kids.

  • I will not stay at places I cannot trust. When we were checking out they added $8 per night resort fee that was not disclosed when booking through the travel agency. Somehow it raised the rate by $27 for a 3 night stay. When I showed them my printed reservation which included tax and what they were trying to charge us was above the quote (and I stated I left a tip in the room), they still refused to honor the price. The lady said they now had a resort fee and it was displayed on their website. I said I did not book through them and again showed her my reservation quoting all prices from the travel agency. She still refused to honor it. I will never go to this hotel again, and may never stay at a Clarion.The pool with the waterpark is only open until about 8 pm. So no going to the theme parks then to the pool. They only had one floor of slides open at a time and they are not very smooth. Did not entertain my children for long (ages 7, 7, and 5).

  • The room was beautifully decorated & the four adults in our room didnt feel cramped and on top of each other.Unfortunately we paid the $10 extra for a ""waterpark"" view and all we could see on the 1st floor was a blue cabana. We couldnt even see around it enough to see ANYTHING in the waterpark. We called to get the charges reversed, which were supposedly granted, but when we got to the front desk to check out, we then had to wait a long time to talk to the manager to have the charges reversed. We do hope to stay there again next year, but will either request a room on a higher floor, or just stay in a regular room. If your plan is to play in the waterpark, make sure you get there early in the day as you are allowed to play all day before you check in to the hotel @ 4:00 pm. We never found the 90 square foot heated spa. We looked all over for it, but didnt see it. We did find a teeny tiny hot tub within the waterpark, but it is only open 9:30 am to 7 pm, so dont expect to come in after a long day & get in the water b/c you cant.Overall this was a very nice hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and informative when asked about directions, etc.Have a great time!

  • MY ONLY COMPLANT ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH WASHCLOTHES. SO BRING YOUR OWN. OTHER THAN THAT THE HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL. ALL THREE OF MY SONS ENJOYED THE WATERPARK. ITS A LITTLE FAR FROM THE THEME PARKS SO YOU WILL NEED A CAR. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. CHECK IN WAS EASY, BUT CHECK OUT WAS TERRIBLE THERE WAS ONLY TWO CLERKS WORKING AND ALOT OF PEOPLE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS. I WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

  • This is literally how my sister and I felt while staying at this property. As a travel professional, I feel its very important to provide feedback for other travelers. The best asset of this resort would have to be the friendly staff both poolside, including life guards and activities personnel, as well as at the front desk. Further, the newly appointed rooms and overall cleanliness of the entire property. The poolside bar had great food (my kids would highly recommend the chicken fingers) as well as cold drinks, beer and even frozen drinks. As the sun went down a nostalgic talented guitarist began to play great Jimmy Buffett and James Taylor songs. This was out check-out day and we really didnt want to leave, we ended up staying until 8:00 pm. The only negative feature was probably the coffee. Now if youre not a connoisseur of coffee as my family is, this will not affect you; we however begin our days with the best fresh ground and brewed. (side note, there is a Dunkin across the street). The other not so great feature would be the hotel entrance and location. I literally drove by the property entrance 2x before finding the drive way. The not so fantastic location has its pluses and minuses. Located literally right off the toll-way you cant miss it, other than the drive way that is, the central location however could be more appealing, but once on property, really you forget where you are your so involved in swimming and relaxing. Further, there is nothing like taking your kids to a Resort for the weekend or even just a night as we did to meet with some out of town family members, and literally having them entertained by hotel staff. They staff was so friendly! We cant wait to go back!

This was out check-out day and we really didnt want to leave, we ended up staying until 8:00 pm. The only negative feature was probably the coffee. Now if youre not a connoisseur of coffee as my family is, this will not affect you; we however begin our days with the best fresh ground and brewed. (side note, there is a Dunkin across the street). The other not so great feature would be the hotel entrance and location. I literally drove by the property entrance 2x before finding the drive way. The not so fantastic location has its pluses and minuses. Located literally right off the toll-way you cant miss it, other than the drive way that is, the central location however could be more appealing, but once on property, really you forget where you are your so involved in swimming and relaxing. Further, there is nothing like taking your kids to a Resort for the weekend or even just a night as we did to meet with some out of town family members, and literally having them entertained by hotel staff. They staff was so friendly! We cant wait to go back!

They only made the bed and ALWAYS shortchanged us on towels. The shower was never cleaned NOT ONCE during our 6 day stay. The coffee I made on the first morning was never cleaned out and they never replaced the coffee products. We had tile floor which was never swept. We had to constantly ask for towels and had to ask TWICE for bedding for the sofa pullout. You are better off staying somewhere else since you dont save any money here! Also, it is at the complete opposite end of 192, so you have to travel even farther than just about any other hotel. The time and money you would save by going to another hotel closer to the attractions would be worth it. Also, you hear nothing but cleaning carts if you happen to be on the first floor near the elevator, starting around 8am.

The rooms were brand new with bright colors and a bed so comfortable my wife and I wanted to take one home. We came home and told several of our friends who have made plans for a weekend vacation close to home without spending an arm and a leg on the big parks. Highly recommend this hotel.

  • My family & I stayed here while we visited Magic Kingdom & Sea World. It it wasnt for our GPS we would have never found the location. It is a nice tucked away hotel. The pool with the outdoor lazy river, which was heated was a hit. We actually could have stayed at the hotel the entire stay instead of going to the parks. As the previous person advised if it were not for all the tolls to get to & from the hotel it would have been fine. The pool was gated as if you were lost in your own exotic world. The front desk staff were extemely helpful and professional at all times. The housekeeping staff and the awesome breakfast buffet was great as well.We are extremely particular and critical of hotels throughout our travels & this ranks with some of the high end chain hotels...Definately a thumps up!! We would definately come back to see the finished product of the upgrades. Thanks for the professionalism & the memories for the kids.

  • I was in a rush when I booked my pre-paid last minute vacation package. We paid a lot of money for the flight and hotel package, not to mention I hadnt been on a vacation for at least 3 years. My family and I were eager to enjoy a well deserved vacation. Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed when we opened the door to our room and discovered that I had accidently booked a King Bed room with a pull out couch for our party of four. We spoke with the hotel staff and they told me we couldnt change rooms because they were fully booked and due reasons beyond their control we couldnt have a roll a way. After three terrible nights trading off sleeping on the floor we decided to find another hotel with 2 double beds so we could all sleep in beds. Upon our return we found our fine hotel changed our key and locked us out! I went to the front desk to correct the key problem as my family waited outside in the cold. Luckily, I mentioned our situation again to the hotel staff and we were accomodated with a roll a way bed for the last 2 nights, free of charge! To boot, they threw in a free breakfast for all 4 of us! Keep in mind the hotel was fully booked and this was a mistake I made and not fault of the hotel. We were quite pleased with this kindness. This hotel is clean, just a few miles from Disney and quite fun for the kids when the weather is warm. The outdoor waterpark is spacious, clean and fun! The breakfast buffet is terrific! The omlet chef is fabulous! We would definitely stay here again!

The kids were excited it was their first plane ride and it would be our first trip to Disney World.This hotel sounded like it was meant for us.WRONG!!When we arrived there the hotel was overbooked and the receptionist told us it would be two hours before we could check in.Mind you we were there when check in was already suppose to be taking place.Then she took my credit card information and ended up losing it.This hotel is 45 min. from the Disney area, not the 15 minutes they try to sell you.The shuttle only sits 15 people and runs two times in the morning and in the evening so if you are not there then the cab ride would be very expensive every day.This is of course also not what they lead you to believe in the details of the hotel.When we were finally able to check in our floor in our room was soaked, the walls were dirty,it smelled musty.We were not happy at all.When we called the online travel website the supervisor in charge told us that he would get us into another hotel the next day.This was unacceptable.The supervisor finally got us into The Holiday Inn Express (after 30 hours of a mess).I have to tell you this was the first time I had ever had such a bad experience at a hotel.Thank goodness we got the travel insurance to save us from this mess of a first day.Sure the Holiday Inn didnt have a whole waterslide park(they had a small slide), but it was clean the staff were super friendly and made sure that the rest of our stay was GREAT!!

This is a fungal wart that causes extreme itching on the skin and appears as tiny warts on the skin and apparently thrives in pools. The breakfast was not worth the price. We consistently needed to ask for towels on a daily basis and go figure we had to ask for toilet paper too. So needless to say we all said never again and we should have bailed out early when we wanted to versus taking a good jester. Just take precaution because we felt the website is misleading to what you really get.

Although convenient, you dont want to stay on that side of the motel. If possible get 2nd floor room with view of Waterpark. Other views are depressing as Motel is in older part of Kissimmee. We made our reservation on line (saved $) and then called and asked for WP view and got it. Its true the County Jail is about 2 blocks away. Plenty of casual/quick dining options within 2-3 minute drive. But wouldnt recommended walking night or day.Check in took about 5-10 minutes, room was clean and comfortable. Beds made promptly each morning with plenty of towels. Water Park is a blast and we loved it. Ages, 45, 40, 10, 6, 6. We never left WP on our first full day. As expected food is expensive at motel. But, be sure and get discount coupons from front desk upon check in. Provides 50% off drinks and entrees. I noticed they were not passing these out to everyone so ask! Arcade on-site is fun for kids too. No free breakfast. $9.95 for adults and $4.95 for kids. Pass.Our check out went fine with no problem charges. But, during my 5-10 wait the line stacked up behind me 6-8 guest deep and staff didnt ask for or get back up?? Also, saw women reporting some problem to local police officer?? Plan early, arrive on time, get 2nd floor WP view room, enjoy your family at the WP, keep eye on kids, secure your valuables and dont expect the Westin and you will enjoy your stay. See tip for meals.

  • We reserved a queen suite for two families - eight all together. We had a blast. But again, we dont pick poke on every ridiculous thing either. Yes, its near a abandoned gas station, yes its off the turnpike, yes its 20 minutes from I-drive and the heart of orlando - yes its an older style hotel, and yes the ""waterpark is small. But you be thankful for what you get. The gas station didnt bother us, big deal. The turnpike...we settled that by getting directions off of mapquest to avoid the tolls on the turnpike and we got to Idrive and Universal just fine. The water park certainly is not Aquatica - but there are no lines, its an intimate quiet area that allows you to soak up the slow pace of a vacation. Nevermind there are 150 cameras on campus as the staff takes your childs safety serious. Yes, its an older style hotel - but its brightly colored, clean and updated very well. We had a fantastic time - we all fit perfectly in our suite with our private balcony over looking the waterpark. We relaxed in a peaceful atmosphere and we still made our way to our destination just fine with mapquest directions. Our childrens ages ranged from 6 - 15 and all four of them cannot wait to come back. Plenty of lawn chairs, plenty of room. So if you want a nice getaway hotel that offers a nice little extra - this is for you. But if you want to pick poke about everything negative - keep on looking. WE were very impressed and will be back soon! Lovely hotel all the way around!

  • My husband and I stayed here last May. The shower/tub would not drain. After asking for someone to check it out and nothing being done, I pulled the cover from the drain and found a clump of misc colored hair mixed with slime! I showed it to the managers and they didnt seem concerned at all! Said they have some cleaning staff that dont speak english and have hard time communicating with them! I was appalled! I asked for something to clean the drain with, and was told they would have a cleaner come take care of it. I said...oh one of you cleaners you cant communicate with? I went to a little store and bought a bottle of bleach which I poured into the tub 1/2 full of water and left to soak for the day. They offered us a ""cabana"" for a day as a customer service...we were there a week and the room/shower NEVER got cleaned, by anyone but me....I would not take my kids to such a filthy place!

  • I went to bring in the New Year at the hotel and I chose this particular property because of its family/kid friendly amenities and Im so glad I did. From check-in to check-out it was a great experience. The staff was so friendly and eager to please. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the pool staff, EVERYONE was so pleasant. Im very picky and the first to complain but this time there was nothing to complain about.The room was very clean and everytime a housekeeping staff walked past us theyd ask if there was anything we needed. That kind of attention is always appreciated. It was also easily accessible as soon as we got off the turnpike and only a few minutes drive to the theme parks and shopping. Restaurants are as close as a few bloks and almost everywhere you go so theres no way to go hungry! My kids loved it from the second they got off the car (during the evening) and when they woke up, they couldnt have been more excited to see the waterslides. My older son enjoyed shooting the basketball with a couple of other guests he met there. The best part was that since wed reserved a room facing the pool, I was actually able to watch them from my room door.The only thing I wasnt too impressed with was their breakfast. Although it had some hot items (scrambled eggs, pancakes etc.) it really wasnt worth paying for. Quite frankly thats the kind of breakfast that most other hotels offer included in the rate. Next time Id much rather go to a Dennys or a larger breakfast buffet for about the same price.

My older son enjoyed shooting the basketball with a couple of other guests he met there. The best part was that since wed reserved a room facing the pool, I was actually able to watch them from my room door.The only thing I wasnt too impressed with was their breakfast. Although it had some hot items (scrambled eggs, pancakes etc.) it really wasnt worth paying for. Quite frankly thats the kind of breakfast that most other hotels offer included in the rate. Next time Id much rather go to a Dennys or a larger breakfast buffet for about the same price.

  • The property is decent, although a little scary looking from the road. It sits way back off the main road behind a gas station that is out of business. I liked the tile floor in the second room that I was in (the first room was unacceptable). The property has a pool and a small ""water park"" that consists of a couple of slides, and a ""lazy river"" that you can float around on a tube. Its a nice bonus for a hotel, but far from a water park - especially by Orlando standards. The property is also located fairly far from the main attractions in Orlando.My complaint is that the price that I negotiated online was not honored. When I checked in the staff member wanted me to sign agreeing to a ""resort fee"". I declined stating that I had prepaid through an online booking service. I did not consent to the fee, and even double checked when I checked out to be sure that I was not charged. When my credit card bill arrived I was quite displeased to see that I HAD BEEN CHARGED EVEN THOUGH I WAS PROMISED THAT THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN! Now I have to waste my valuable time trying to get the $13 PER DAY fee reversed. This issue is unresolved as of now. I will post an update.Save yourself the trouble, there are nicer hotels closer to the fun in Orlando that will treat you with more respect.

  • Rooms were clean and the pool and water park were perfect for the kids. The service however was terrible. The maid never came to service the room. The restaurant looked like a dungeon and there was no waitress after waiting for 20 minutes. There was a coffee bar but it never was open. In addition the air conditioning in the room was broken. It could have been a nice hotel if the management cared.

  • My husband and booked a king jacuzzi room online and guaranteed it with a credit card. Upon arrival, the room was not available as it was having "engineering" problems, nor was any king room available. We had to take a double queen room. Got to the room and wanted ice and water...Oops, no ice and no water in vending machine and oops the mini-fridge in the room did not work! We found someone elses underwear hanging on the back of the bathroom door and someone elses shampoo in the tub. Was this because someone else was in the room when we werent there or because the bathroom was not cleaned?? Who knows! We reported this to management, they checked the room and we got no report other than no room service for the day. The room key quit working and after 2 trips to the office, security unloced the room and said the lock was dead. At that time we were out of towels because the used towels were not replaced the day before. We were asked what hppened to the blanket on one of the beds that we did not take. It was never on the bed. Overall...I would not recommend this dump to anyone!!

  • We went up to get away for the holiday and spend time in the area. We went in to the Jacuzzi that was in our room after we drove up 3 hours. It was very relaxingThe beds were great and nice and soft with 4 pillows. Room was clean. The next morning we had the breakfast buffet and my wife just wanted to go to the waterpark to layout and read. I went on the lazy river I took a double tub and just laid there going round and round. Thank god the water was heated. My wife wanted me to go down the big slides so I made her happy you go to climb up 3 stories of stairs to come down. You can tell it all new construction I will be back with my girls it is near to Disney and Universal Studio right off the highway.

  • MY ONLY COMPLANT ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH WASHCLOTHES. SO BRING YOUR OWN. OTHER THAN THAT THE HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL. ALL THREE OF MY SONS ENJOYED THE WATERPARK. ITS A LITTLE FAR FROM THE THEME PARKS SO YOU WILL NEED A CAR. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. CHECK IN WAS EASY, BUT CHECK OUT WAS TERRIBLE THERE WAS ONLY TWO CLERKS WORKING AND ALOT OF PEOPLE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS. I WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
