- We went to Disneyland, with a family of four got the sunken living room suite. The man @ check in upgraded our room to a Theme Park veiw for like $8.00 we could watch the fireworks form the privicy of our own room how nice that was. The staff was always there with helpful information since none of us were from the area. Nice quite floors, simple breakfest, I will return to this hotel with out question. The bar was a bit pricey but its disney area.

- The hotel is in a good location for disneyland but that was about it. The complimentary breakfast was poor. We complained about the coffee being cold but nothing was done. They were also selling bagel sandwiches as part of their complimentary breakfast which I found outrageous. We had trouble with the appliances in the room and asked for help. We had to move them around to plug them in. We received no help. When I was checking out and wanted to talk to someone they were uninterested and said to complain to travel agent. For the price I would recommend another hotel/motel

- My Husband and I stayed here because we went to a concert at the convention center. It saved us money on parking and it was a nice walk to the center. Ive stayed here before to go to Disneyland, and the walk saved money on parking and they even allowed us to keep the car in the lot while we were at Disneyland. Nice rooms, nice service..no complaints!

- We had a spacious room with two queen beds on the first floor. No waiting for elevators was a plus, we were right next to the vending machines and the pool and parking structure were very close. The staff was very friendly, our rooms were cleaned every day and we had cable with HBO. We took advantage of the great FREE breakfast (hard-boiled eggs, assorted doughnuts and pastries, oranges, bananas, three types of breads, yogurt, cold cereals as well as oatmeal, milk, tea, coffee, and three juices) every morning. The staff made sure everything was full all the time. This hotel is located right next to 7-11 so getting quick snacks was easy and Disneyland was about a ten minute walk. I would stay here again.

- We arrived early and they were able to give us a room right away. Plus she gave us the online free room upgrade with no problems. She was very courteous and helpful. and any of the rest of the staff we dealt with.) The walk to Disneyland was an easy 15 minutes for adults or there was a shuttle for $4/day per person. The breakfast included more than the expected pastries and cereal. We also had yogurt, fresh fruit, biscuits & gravy, potatoes. scrambled eggs and oatmeal. The breakfast staff was friendly and worked hard to make sure everything was and clean and full. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job cleaning the room. The only negative was the sofa bed in the Queen suite was worn and uncomfortable. Im sure they would have moved us but we were so pleased with everything else, we didnt bother to ask.

- We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites, with two little boys and found it to be quite comfortable. The room served no more than a place to sleep and clean up from our days at Disney, and thats all we really needed. Staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions and information. Our room wasnt ready when we arrived, so they provided a pool key for us to hang out and wait while we swam. The pool was very small and heated, not desirable on a hot day but the kids didnt mind. The Continental breakfast opened at 7:30 I am sorry to say we never tried it. It would have been nice if it were open an hour earlier for us Disney freaks that like to get to the park when it opens. There is a 7-11 next door so we ran in there to grab some coffee and snacks.

- We stayed in one of the family rooms....alot smaller than it looks in the photos. We all had allergy problems that night, and when we looked at the air filter, it was clear that it hadnt been changed in a very long time. The dust was collected all around the vent. YUK. The room was next to the elevator. Some noise, but that didnt keep us awake. The room was not too bad. Its just there are better rooms out there for the same or less money. We had stayed at the Doubletree last trip for about the same money....and was much more satisfied with the overall stay. The person at the front desk could barely speak english. He was hard to understand. DO yourself a favor and keep looking.

- My boyfriend and I planned a weekend in Anaheim to go to Disneyland and to relax and were thrilled with our hotel room which was in their more recently built tower. The bed was really comfortable, and our room happened to have a view of the park which allowed us to watch the fireworks from our window ( they were smaller of course and not quite the same without the music. ) Still it was kind of neat. Our room was very spacious, although we had a pretty tiny bathroom with surprisingly low water pressure in the shower. However, my best friend who decided to also book a room with her bf, got a room in the older wing of the hotel, which was small and had several mystery hatches on the ceilings which she thought was a little creepy. ( escape and maintanence hatches?) However, she still had a good time, since the hotel staff is very, very friendly and helpful. I thought the people who worked the front desk went above and beyond service in action and personality. I didnt mind the fee to park our car each night, since Ive been charged more at other hotels before. You will need to either drive or take the shuttle to the park, since its not within walking distance. The shuttle to the park runs every half hour and is VERY PROMPT. Be on time or a little early, since the bus drivers arent going to risk throwing their time schedules off to stop for you even if you run after the bus like a couple people we observed. Also, there are lots of restaurants nearby that deliver to the hotel if you ask the front desk for a list.

- Adult daughter and mom took this trip. The hotel was an easy walk (5 - 10 min max) to Disneyland so there was no need to take a shuttle. Saw families with kids taking the same walk. Of course it seemed a bit longer after a full day at the park! The rooms were adequate. Definitely not fancy but clean and quiet. We slept well. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were in the room. One of us was cold, and the front desk quickly sent up an extra blanket. A buffet breakfast was served starting at 7 a.m. Allowed enough time to get to the park for an 8a.m. opening. The food exceeded my expectations. In addition to the usual sweet rolls, cereal and toast, there were eggs each morning and either biscuits and gravy or potatoes and sausage. It was busy so the food was fresh and hot.All in all, we feel we got value for what we paid. We arrived before a room was ready and we did preliminary check-in, left our car (free parking) and spent the next 8 hours at the park. No problems when we returned at 11p.m. A 7-11 and an ABC store are on the corner. We had pizza delivered one night to the room.

- Me and my wife stayed there 7/08 and were able to walk to Disneyland parking lot just down the street. Nice rooms, pool, lobby staff very friendly but if you are at all sensitive to cheap mattresses looks somewhere else. I like very firm mattresses but this was about 4.5 """" thick and you had to wake up and turn every 30 mins... to get some blood flow in area. We did not sleep much that night due to this...

- So, first the good news: My girlfriend and I stayed in a king bed room at the very end of a 4th floor hall. The room seemed adequately insulated from outside noise, and the room amenities were fine (fridge, microwave, etc.). Also, we had a jacuzzi tub (AWESOME!) and the free breakfast included scrambled eggs, saugage, and biscuits and gravy served buffet style. And the hotel is just a short walk to both Disneyland and the outdoor mall, Garden Walk. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast saved us money.Ok, so the bad news is the pool and the ""resort fee"". They charge you a resort fee! For what? do I get a free ticket to Dland? Discount? Free pretzel? No! Simply, Its a way to disguise the true price of their rooms. So if you stay at the Desert Palms, adjust your quoted price of the room UP by 7 bucks because thats what they charge you. Now, I read that you can fight it and win, but after a full day of travel, I just didnt have the energy. What really bothered me, though, was the air conditioner. It was so loud! I suggest that you turn the AC fan on high so it disguises the sound of the AC turning off and on, at least at night. Also, the pool is not good! If a pool isnt a priority for you, fine, but it not good at all! Imagine a 30 foot square bucket of water inside a narrow five-floor tube of hotel windows. Thats the pool; a small fish bowl devoid of sunlight. So maybe thats three caveats, but whos counting?

- Decent Hotel.....Could use more maint and TLC all building materials were simply cheap - can hear neighbors conversations and parking lot conversation through thin walls and windows......Lots of talk of water/power savings by not washing linens, notes taped on walls about proper air conditioner settings and maids unplugging chargers etc of their own volition......This sounds good but always makes me suspicious of the green motive being money or the environment til i see they wash the parking lot down via water hose instead of broom......Guess i was right to be suspicious.......They also add a fee each day for a resort fee - no idea what this is other then a nice added fee you will not see with travel website booking til you are checking in and basically have to pay it also will try an add a daily room safe charge to your bill if you use it (read the fine print an read whatever you initial at this hotel......Free breakfast was quite sparce and bring your own cup as you will have to drink a dixie sized cup of coffee or juice if you use the provided......Walk to park was very nice and certainly not very long with four children 3-11.....Allowed a little quiet together time after a day in the disney parks........Free parking, close access to freeway, ability to order out and have delivered to room (no room service at hotel), double bathroom in suite room were also very nice.....Would stay here if it is deal or if you have 6 people or so in a party - just a little underhanded and cheap - be warned and be alert and will be fine.......

- We were very happy with this hotel. The room was clean and we received a free upgrade to a family room (extra room had bunk beds and a TV). I guess checking in late has its advantages. Ive had free continental breakfasts with more selection, but the food was good. The walk to the park is a little over a half mile (according to Mapquest), no big deal given all the walking you end up doing at Disney. We purchased our tickets from the front desk, which was convenient. All of the staff we had contact with was very nice.We would stay here again.

- This was a prepaid trip, but they still charged me like $*00 a day in ""Resort fees"" plus taxes on those fees. The beds were horrible and the free breakfast was worse than McDonalds. The shower towels were the size of napkins and the pool had some weird foamy stuff in it. All the pool chairs were falling apart. The website pictures must have all been taken a few years back. They also show a Quiznos on site, which is no longer there. The A/C was very loud and would act up constantly every night while trying to sleep. (Read as on and off constantly, at 30 second intervals.) The location was great for walking to and from Disney.

- OK, when we first got to this hotel, they put us in a 1st floor room which was not to my liking. It wasnt awful, but there was a driveway and parking spots right outside our room window and it didnt feel safe and it was just low quality. I requested a different room - one higher up perhaps, and the staff was excellent. They put us in a much higher quality room on the 4th floor that was much bigger. However, even this room wasnt great. There were weird ""stains"" all over the floor and REALLY looked like blood and the carpet was wet as though they had just cleaned it to try to get the stains up. But all in all the 2nd room was pretty good. They have a ""continental"" breakfast each morning on the 5th floor which is REALLY good - surprised me. Hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pastries...the breakfast was the best part of the hotel. So the bottom line is this: If you get one of the better rooms on a high floor and you take advantage of the great breakfast, this is a great hotel for the money. However, if you get a cruddy 1st floor room and dont eat breakfast, you are being majorly ripped off.

- Clean room, quick drive to Disneyland. Fun restaurants next door and accross the street. Window didnt have screen, but we wouldnt have slept with it open anyway. We were on the first floor. Fabulous motel, great price, decent location. We went from this motel to 4 nights at Paradise Pier on the Disneyland Resort. It was a nice combination.

- From the reviews, we thought this would be a nice hotel. We were afraid to sleep on the beds. It was a VERY RUN DOWN dump of a hotel. The lobby is deceiving (very pretty) and the location is wonderful if youre headed to Disneyland but the praises stop there (other than the staff). We actually left a day early because we refused to sleep there one more night. The first room looked like it was from a red light district so we asked to change. The second one we tried was unavailable and the third one.... THEY GAVE US KEYS TO A ROOM THAT WAS ALREADY OCCUPIED... WE UNLOCKED THE DOOR TO ANOTHER FAMILY ALREADY IN THERE WITH ONE SLEEPING!!! After our daughter recovered from this sight, they were apologetic and gave us an ""upgraded room"" where the looks were the same but it was a bigger room. The carpet had crumbs on it and was wet in places. We wouldnt have stayed at all but it was very late at night when we checked in. The breakfast that was included was horrible and everything was served on plastic plates with plastic silverware (not very ""GREEN"" at all) The staff was very nice and worked with us as best they could but we would not recommend this hotel ... to anyone....ever.

- This hotel is very strict about the 4PM check-in. They also try to charge additional taxes they claim the travel agency refuses to pay but if you stick to your guns you can get them removed. The continental breakfast was fair but there are only two choices for fruit and no protien options except hard boiled eggs. The (outdoor) pool is small & surrounded by the hotel so is in the shade most of the time. The hottub had foam the whole week from too much chemicals The (kitchenette) room was satisfactory but small. The housekeeping staff needs to pay more attention to detail, -grime built up in the corners, the carpet needed shampooed. The hotel is about 4 years old & didnt seem to have been maintenanced or deep cleaned in that span. The traffic noise was unbearable at times but perhaps it bothered me more as I live in the country. It seems they could get better soundproofing though. I tried to get some coffee & trash bags from the housekeeping staff The front desk got me what I needed though. The hotel is about 10 blocks from Disneylands entrance so is an easy walk. They do not offer shuttle service but there is an Anaheim Area Resort Transit System they can book you on. I would stay here again only if I couldnt get into a preferred hotel. My experience was much better at the Anaheim Fairfield which is closer, cleaner & has better customer service and a fabulous pool. I also reccommend the CandyCane. They offer shuttles to & from Disneyland and have a great continental breakfast and pool.

- This hotel has friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Borrego suite and enjoyed the partial view of California Adventure Park. The walk to Disneyland was a bit long, longer than the 10 minutes that we were told by the hotel staff but it was ok. We opted to use the ART on our last day...The continental breakfast was good too, full of cereals, pastries, fruits, fruit juice, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc....The Sandbox had awesome burgers as well. Quiznos is no longer open....It costs $1.25 for the washer and dryer which is cheaper than home...7-11 is right next door which is convenient to get those midnight snacks and bottled water before going into Disney. Disneyland is very expensive, $2.75 for a bottled water, on average we spent $45.00 per meal for me, my husband and 5 and 2 year old....But the staff at Disney are all very friendly and helpful. We had a late flight going home and the hotel was more than happy to hold our luggage for us.We would definitely stay here again!!!

- Stayed in the family suite with a kitchen and balcony. The kitchen had a stove, microwave and a full size refridgerator. To our surprise it also contained dishes and silverware. No complaints. Hotel is close enough to walk to disneyland and complimentary hotel parking was great. The staff was great. One minor discomfort is that these suites face the street, however the noise was not distruptive when the windows were closed.

- I stayed at the hotel for one night following a day trip to Disneyland in early May, 2009. The attendant barely spoke English which was quite annoying after driving all day and being exhausted. Our room we discovered had a lovely view of a garbage dump. In the morning their was a maintenance worker peering through our window while attempting to organize the dump. The toilet was in the middle of the bathroom with a lovely sanitary napkin disposal bag displayed on the top. We felt unsafe in this hotel and were very glad to be leaving the next day. The pool was closed until the end of May for repairs but that did not stop the hotel from charging us the daily resort fee. For what??

- We traveled to the disney area with our Son and his wife a two boys, 5yrs and 1yr. We had ajoining rooms which was nice. The hotel is in drastic need of a makeover! The central air was nonexistent in the halls. Our sons room had a good air cond. but ours was on low at the high setting. The pool area had wires hanging out of the wall and the hot tub jets were not working. The staff was as freindly as could be, the breakfast was in a pleasent setting and was good, lots of variety. We were close enough to walk and very glad we brought a stroller for the young boy because its a long walk at night back from the parks. What we needed was a conveniant local to get to disney parks, clean rooms, freindly service and thats what we got.
