  • my husband and i were in henderson to attend a friends wedding and this was one of the hotels suggested for wedding guests. the price was great, the location (near my friends home and wedding events) was perfect. the hotel is a short, easy trip from the airport, and is surrounded by many places to eat and shop, including the Galleria Mall. the hotel is much bigger than i expected, beautifully decorated and the gaming floor is large. all the staff we encountered, from the front desk, gaming floor, gift shop and housekeeping, was very friendly. we did not know the pool was closed for renovations (and they dont have a hot tub!) but we had no free time on this trip so did not miss the pool. i would double check its availability next time. the only reason i might not stay at this hotel again is because of the fiasco of renting a car at the vegas airport. they must do something to remedy that mess, as it added hours to our trip on each end. i might choose a hotel on the strip next time just to avoid renting a car.

  • We loved the hotel. We have family in Henderson but wanted a few days on our own. This hotel was very nice. There is a lot to do there, and the employees were very friendly towards us.   • Very good overall experience. Sunset Station has everything we needed on site, we spent a lot of our time in the casino because it was fun! We had a fantastic meal at the steakhouse, they treated us like royalty. All of the food was very good including the buffet, cafe and my wife got to go to Hooters for the first time. The hotel was clean, everything worked, great beds,all good there. Everyone was very kind and seemed to like working there.We had a great time!

  • Very good overall experience. Sunset Station has everything we needed on site, we spent a lot of our time in the casino because it was fun! We had a fantastic meal at the steakhouse, they treated us like royalty. All of the food was very good including the buffet, cafe and my wife got to go to Hooters for the first time. The hotel was clean, everything worked, great beds,all good there. Everyone was very kind and seemed to like working there.We had a great time!

  • If you want to experience Vegas on a budget, this is a great place. Galleria Mall and lots of good Red Lobster/Chilis/Applebees type places to eat around. Buffet was really good. They have Bingo here which most Vegas hotels dont offer. They have a movie theater, bowling alley, several good eating places inside, and the slots pay good. About 5 minutes from the Strip and youre not missing anything. Theres even a Wal-Mart about 1/4 mile away if you forget your shampoo...lol. Just very convenient! The smoke was pretty bad, but this is Vegas, theres not really anywhere to avoid it. Convenient to the airport as well. Beds were comfortable, hi-speed wireless internet access was affordable (about * bucks for the whole week). I would definitely stay there again!

  • I came in late from the Las Vegas airport and didnt check in until about 6:30 p.m. I had booked a Non Smoking King, I was told upon check in that they only guarantee a king bed but did not have a non smoking room. I told them I would not stay unless they had a non smoking room, the front desk clerk found one. The room seemed fine until first thing in the morning, it smelled like someone was smoking in my room, turn out that it was coming from the shared exhaust ventilation in the bathroom. If you have any major problems with smoking this hotel is not for you. I will not stay here again.

  • This hotel is in a great location with lots of good places to eat within walking distance. We ate in 3 of the casino dining areas and were very satisfied with the quality and price of the meals. The rooms are nice, beds very comfortable, and relatively quiet. A great palce to stay while in the Henderson area.

  • I checked in with a company cc and the accepted it, but on check out they rejected it because it had my companys name on it and not mine, how do you pay for a room when your not ready to pay for it when you have all ready paid once.

  • My wife and I just returned from our trip to sunset station on 3/15/09 and we had a great time. The casino was not crowded and we actually won on the slots for the 1st time in 5 trips to vegas! If you like to eat, this place has lots of places to eat, and the food I thought was excellent. ( I have never been a big fan of the food in vegas ) The weekend brunch at the feast buffett was excellent with prime rib, smoked and cooked salmon, and shrimp.This casino is close to shopping and many places to eat even though there are plenty of places to eat right there. Its a short trip to the strip, about 15 min drive.They have a 72 lane bowling alley which is a little pricey, but was fun, and a Imax movie theater, you really dont even have to leave, they have everything here for you. Only downfall on our trip was the pool area was closed, and that was 1 of the amenities you pay extra for and they did not discount that fee. We had a great time here and plan to stay again soon, very clean facility, friendly staff, great food, easy to navigate.

  • Stayed at Sunset Station and was very impressed with everything from the room to the service. Front desk staff had great attitude and even helped with my boarding passes. Traveled with kids and hotel was very nice for them with the bowling alley and kids center on location. Great mall acroos the street and plenty to do in the area. Hoover Dam was only a 15 min drive and the strip in 20 min. Will stay again and did I mention the great price.
