- The hotel is absolutely stunning! When you first walk in you are blown away with its beauty. Our room was beautiful but the only fridge in the room was for the mini bar. We were unable to store any of the food we had left over from the restaurants the hotel had to offer. The pool closed at 6pm. It may have been because of the season, but was a definate disappointment. The casino did not have a good variety of games like some of the more established Casinos offered. We ended up going to other Casinos. Overall our stay at the Venetian was perferct for our honeymoon.

- This is my fourth trip to Las Vegas. Previously, Ive stayed at The Stratosphere, The Mirage and Paris. All pale in comparison to The Venetian. This is by far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel special and welcome. All rooms are large suites. Ours was on the 26th floor overlooking the pool area and North Las Vegas with a beautiful view of the mountains that surround the Las Vegas Valley. Rooms were quiet, clean and extremely comfortable. Some very fun amenities such as 3 flat screen TVs (1 in the bathroom, 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room) and automated curtains that open/close at the touch of a hand-held remote control - no need to get out of bed! The bathroom is bigger than some apartments Ive been in. Hotel restaurants were good, though a bit pricey. The location is perfect - convenient to most attractions on The Strip. The pools are amazing - especially the lounge chairs in the wading pool to help you sun yourself while keping cool. Bar service to your lounge chair was great - though drink costs added up. Definitely a ""pretty"" and self-perceived ""A-list"" crowd who stay here. But no one ever made us feel unwelcome or out of place. One of Las Vegas current ""hip"" night clubs is TAO Beach, which is located at The Venetian. This was my only complaint. The club goes at full volume until about 3am on weekends. Since our room overlooked the pool area, we heard the thumping of the base from TAO Beach until it closed. This wasnt too bad, just slightly annoying. I would definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend it to anyone!!

- My wife and I do not travel frequently and only stay in hotels about once or twice a year. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. The staff in the hotel part were excellent. They all went out out of their way to make us feel welcome. Some people complain about the scent they pipe through the place, but I kind of liked it. It is the strongest in the lobby and gets weaker the closer you get to your room. If you are the type that is sensitive to scented soaps/perfumes you will not like it. The room was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful too. My only complaint is about the casino and the cocktail waitresses. We were playing slots and could not get a drink. I even stepped away to grab a server and was told ""you need to be playing to get drinks served."" I had to go find a manager and complain that we were gaming and spending money in their casino and would like a glass of wine. They did comp us some drinks. I was a little frustrated. In short, we loved the hotel, but I had a better time with better service in the other casinos.

- room was not ready even though I checked in at 8pm instead of 3pm (regular check in), didnt have non-smoking room available. Room was prepaid (credit card was charged already) non-smoking, but not available at time of check in. Finally got a room at midnight so that day was wasted couldnt go out or anything because of dissapointment of the deplorable service received, and didnt even received an apology. The room was very nice and clean, but I will never ever stay there again because of their customer service.

- Me and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend. It was very nice and clean. The only problem I had was that the first night we got there they said they didnt have any of the kind of rooms that we had reserved. They put us in one they said was ""just as nice if not better"". It wasntt. It was in the Venezia Tower and the beds werent comfy and the room was ugly and it didnt have all the things they said we would have. We moved to the type we had originally asked for the next day and it was very nice and comfy and we had a nice view of The Strip. I was looking for romantic when I selected the italian inspired resort, but I think next time I would stay at The Wynn or maybe The Bellagio. Somewhere a little more modern.

- The hotel and casino is very beautiful! The staff is very polite. Theonly problem I had was that whenever we wanted to use the pool or hot tub it was closed, even during normal hours. The pool and hot tub hours are not very good and they close them due to weather everytime there is what I call a little breeze. I dont remember anyone ever drowning due to a little wind. The one time we got to use the pool and hot tub they were great. All in all a great hotel and very breathtaking to look at.

- I have been to Vegas several times and this by far was the worst hotel for the money. The rooms were spacious, but not worth the money. The staff was RUDE and expected a tip for everything. They are a money hungry, lacking service, overpriced, outrageously rude hotel. DO NOT stay here. There are many hotel worthy of you money, this simple is just not one of them. And do NOT fall for the ""blue men"" scam. I spent hours looking for the perfect seat online only to have the ""bait and switch"" me. They gave me awful seats to the point where I couldnt see. When I asked for a refund or new seats, they simply said no. The show was boring and not worthy of all the hoopla.

- This is a great hotel. All the staff was so nice and helpful. The casino was very nice as well. The only real issue we had was that we paid for a strip view room and did really get it. We could see a little bit of the strip, but I wouldnt call what we had a strip view at all. The room was great, and the room service even better. The food they serve for room service is by far the best food we had in Las Vegas. I recommed anyone to stay at this hotel!!!

- It was my first time in Vegas, so me and my friends decided to splurge on what sounded like a good hotel, with good service, and most importantly good comfortable rooms. Check-in was painless, the walk to the room was in the Venezian tower is a fair walk, and was confusing the first couple of times, but the size and the set-up of the room was fantastic. Concierge and front-desk were always helpful, they extended our stay four a couple of hours because we had a late flight, and afterwards held our bags for us until we were ready to go. For a hotel so big, with so many guests, I felt cared about by the staff which is a great feeling and made the extra dent in the wallet worth it.

- This hotel has class, I visited other hotels during that weekend and they were not prepared to handle such an event. I was so glad that I choose this hotel,I felt safe and they really knew how to treat their people although they were hosting at full capacity I got great service and the people and the guest were were very polite and just in a class of their own. I had 3 people in my room and they upgraded us where everyone could have their own bed at no additional charge. I highly recommend this hotel.

- What a great hotel for the price. A feeling of luxary and quiet solitude right in the middle of one of the most active areas of the strip. The casino is wonderful, the amentities (the pools, the spa, etc) and shopping/restaurants are a perfect match. The staff is courteous and responsive. Would recommend highly. While slightly more than other places on the strip, well worth the differential.

- From the time we checked i until the time we checked out, this hotel was concerned about one thing. Their bottom line, putting money in their pocket, and trying to get their hands in yours every time I turned around. It was like being on a beach in Mexico. We were constantly being hounded by timesales people, which the front desk manager told me was not allowed. I am handicapped, in a wheelchair, and with a service dog. I called ahead in case we needed to make special arrangements for the dog. I was told it was noted in my file, and thanked for calling because thjey have lowered counters for checking in handicapped people. When we arrived, no lowered counter, and I found out later, the front desk clerk was new and untrained, checking people in by himself with no supervision. He had to ask another person about every question we asked him. The room was a disaster! It had not been cleaned since the previous guest, the bathroom was filthy and we were forced to sleep on dirty linnens even though I asked the maid to change them, and the supervisor said they would. By the way there were stairs in this suite, hardly the handicapped suite that I was told I would have. Then when my 11 year old daughter wanted to go to bed, there were no linnens on her pull out bed. This was after the maids made up our room and told me they would not change the linnens (so much for supervision). The linnens were dirty (which my wife and myself were forced to sleep in, and it took 1 hour for the maids to bring linnens for my daughters bed which should have been done before when the maids were there earlier.

- Recently stayed for 5 nights at the Venetian in Las Vegas and it was just the best. The place is beautifully designed and just fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect. Plenty of different food choices. Shows were fantastic. Suites were great and very spacious, bed very comfortable, no shortage of amenties. Would definitely stay here again. My trip was great in part to staying at this resort.

- Beautiful hotel, excellent service, spacious suite room, beautiful pool area. We stayed in the Venezia Tower of the Venetian hotel - very beautiful and highly recommend it. Checkin process can be very crowded, best to arrive during off hours. If possible, avoid the checkin/out areas during checkout time at 11am - extremely crowded. Very nice to walk around the Grand Canal area, eat in any one of the lovely restaurants open late...for breakfast order a cappuccino and croissant at the bakery or for lunch request the Crab Salad at the Mexican restaurant - both located in the Grand Canal area..its divine.During the 104 degree fahrenheit temperatures outside, it was wonderful to not have to leave this beautiful resort - it is completely self-contained. The husband says it has one of the most beautiful poker rooms on the strip. During the evening, many guests dressed up elegantly and to impress for either gaming, dining, and/or attending The Phantom of the Opera. I joined Club Grazie -- this is definitely a hotel I will return to.

- I made a reservation through Travelocity where I clearly specify NO SMOKING and I almost had to beg for a ""non smoking room"" my reservation indicated so ...and the lady ( YOLANDA) at the front desk said its ""first come first served basis"" HOW RIDICULOUS!!! then why to bother to make a reservation!!! this is a 5 star hotel but they dont treat you as a 5 star guest...Im pretty sure it gotta be based in the amount of money that you bet or lose.....all the staff are rude specially at the reception area I was waited by a Yolanda and at the end by the Manager Michael willinsky ....not customer service at all, maybe his attitude is based on TIPS. the hotel is gorgeous and clean inside but for me customer service and the way I feel its more important that the facilities.Maria G.

- I have been to Vegas several times and Ive stayed pretty much everywhere and The Venetian is THE BEST. Our room was so clean it felt like no one had ever slept in there before. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, they have a ton of great restaurants - and I won money on the slot machines!I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

- The rooms here are huge, the bathrooms quite sizable and the Canyon Ranch super. Also the 10th floor Venezia pool """"garden"""" was lovely. Glad I stayed here and would stay again if the price was right. 24-hour cafe selection was extensive and the Bouchon Bakery right by the elevators was fantastic.

- We got the cheapest room at the Venetian for $* a night. It was nice. The furniture and carpet were outdated and worn. The sofa was hard as a rock. But the bed was superb! And the bathroom was unbelievable! And there were 3 flat screen TVs in the room, which was nice. The pools are awesome here. We had no trouble finding a chair at any of the pools any time of the day. Drinks at the pool were expensive though ($* for a mixed drink) Front desk was a little slow checking in. But everyone was super nice there. Check out was a breeze. They even let us check out in the afternoon at no extra cost since we had an evening flight. Restarurant row has some nice restaurants- a little expensive, but what do you expect at the Venetian? There are two food courts with some cheaper food - one in the casino, one in the canal shops. We ate at DelMonicos and Valentinos. Both were excellent. Grand Lux Cafe was okay for the price. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay for a romantic get-away. Weve also stayed at MGM, NY NY, Mirage and Imperial Palace over the years. All of these were nice also. The Venetian just had some extra ""perks"" in their rooms. If you just want somewhere to stay for a weekend while you gamble, then Id stay somewhere else less expensive. If you want a nice luxurous hotel with a great pool to lay by, then stay at the Venetian.

- We hadnt been to Las Vegas in years and were looking forward to seeing all the sights. The Venetian is a fabulous home base from which to visit the rest of the strip. The hotel is beautiful, especially the ceiling at the entrance and the frescoes throughout. The perfumey scent each time we entered the hotel was annoying and even gave my husband a headache. For new visitors, the signs could be a little larger, twice we got lost trying to find our room, and it was even confusing at the valet parking at the hotel entrance. After the first day or two, we began to get our bearings, and no longer got lost. The suite was fabulous--very comfortable bed and wonderful view of the strip, downside was internet access was WiFi only. Lux Cafe was conveniently located on the lobby floor and has wonderful food. We loved the shops and especially the live maniquans and entertainment throughout the shopping area. ""Phatom"" was spectacular--I would highly recommend it and look forward to seeing it again on our return trip. We did little gambling and opted instead to take our own ""cheapo"" tour of Vegas. The volcano eruption and the white tigers at the Mirage, the MGM Grand tiger exhibit, the flamingo and exhotic bird exhibit at the Flamingo, Statute of Liberty at NY NY, and Eifel Tower and Paris shops at Paris Paris, and expecially the wonderful buffet and fountain show at the Bellagio as well as the Monorail back and forth throughout the Strip was a full sightseeing, yet inexpensive way of visiting almost all casinos and fun for the whole family. Next time, I will plan an extra day to take in Excalibur and Pirates of the Carribean and do a little more gambling.

- We love the Venetian. We did have an issue with noisy pipes and had to move rooms at midnight. The suites are roomy and very clean. The views are incredible. We had a mountain view for 2 nights and a semi-strip view for 2 nights (midnight move). We will not go back to one of the hotels restaurants, David Burke, we had a terrible evening there. The staff was not very friendly and the food was not very good. We would stay at the Venetian again.
