  • The suites are spacious, but a bit old. They need to be updated. The jacuzzi tub is nice. We were in a studio suite.

  • My husband and I stayed at the Suites for 3 nights and had a great time. The room was large with a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and jacuzzi tub. We were well-fed each morning with a chef-prepared breakfast, and every afternoon we had a wide array of appetizers and free wine. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I would definitely recommend the suites, especially for a couple, as it seems that most of the families were across the street at the Lodge. The grounds were quiet and right by the beach, downtown Pacific Grove, and the infamous Cannery Row in Monterey.

  • My husband and I stayed at the Suites for 3 nights and had a great time. The room was large with a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and jacuzzi tub.   • We stayed in their studio suite, which was spacious with a king bed, fireplace, and a view into the neighborhood. We felt this room was in need of some service though. The toilet valve was broken, so it didnt flush right and wouldnt stop running. The faucet leaked and constantly dripped out wasted water and the when burning the gas fire it smelled like unburned gas or that the smoke was getting into the room instead of going up the flue. I was afraid to leave it on for long and possibly make us sick. I can say that this was a quite room and I appreciated the soft sound of the ceiling fan and the spaceous shower, but the bathtub jacuzzi didnt work. I couldnt find a switch that would turn it on (the switch I found did nothing). Still, I would stay here again, if the price was right. It is in a nice location and close to the beach and this area is not touristy or crowded and we were here during the Sea Otter Races.

They offer free breakfast and a free bar-b-que dinner. The food was very good. It is not far from the aquarium and other places of interest in the Monterey area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also sell aquarium tickets and whale watching tickets at the front counter and this is great because youll be able to avoid the lines. The surrounding area of Pacific Grove is beautiful and peaceful.

  • this hotel was great we stayed in the suits and it was great. huge room, super clean and centrally located in pacific grove, 5mins to the aquarium and fishermans wharf, just down the street from 17mile drive and ocean. would stay again for sure!

  • this hotel was great we stayed in the suits and it was great. huge room, super clean and centrally located in pacific grove, 5mins to the aquarium and fishermans wharf, just down the street from 17mile drive and ocean. would stay again for sure!

  • Stayed weekend for big sur marathon. Stayed in suite recently remodeled after electrical fire I was told. fireplace in bedroom didnt work and tv in bedroom volume was broken. It never was replaced or fixed the entire weekend and when I did complained they said take it up with travel agency that is who you booked the room with really poor customer service. they had booked some event and could not use on site resteruant or provided breakfast. Location is fantastic but they need some lessons in customer service and fix the rooms!

  • A little disappointed with the looks of the room. Clean however. Had micro and fridge. Very comfortable pillow top mattress with 4 pillows on a King bed. Overlooked the cemetary, which did not bother us. Deer and their babies were outside our screen door most all the day munching on the grass. Nice/easy walk thru adjacent golf course to get to old lighthouse (open Th-Su 1-4 pm) and beach.
