  • I was amazed by the decor of this hotel. I didnt feel like I was in any hampton inn before. This hotel definitely infused the characteristics of its neighborhood and than some. I had a wonderful time there and the staff was extremely helpful. Definitely will come back to stay at this hotel.

  • I was amazed by the decor of this hotel. I didnt feel like I was in any hampton inn before. This hotel definitely infused the characteristics of its neighborhood and than some. I had a wonderful time there and the staff was extremely helpful. Definitely will come back to stay at this hotel.

  • Stayed with my grandson last night and the room was very nice! Great view, good size room, comfortable beds. Have stayed in other hotels in Manhatten and they were small rooms and old. This room was up-to-date, the staff was excellent and they even had a breakfast bar in the moring with fruits, cereals, eggs,danish.....would definately go back. It is close to the 1 Subway line, convienient if you want to go to Times Square by subway.

  • This hotel is brand new. It opened in the end of October and is not your typical Hampton. You walk into the lobby and it has a boutique feel with its bowed ceilings, steel beams, large glass doors, stream in the middle of the greenhouse, The lobby looks like it has an industrial chic feel to it. The greenhouse is not to be missed with its large rainforest like artifact head rising from the ground, with a stream of water running, making it feel as if you were truly in a rainforest just stumbling upon a thousand year old artifact. The guestrooms are nicely decorated with LCD tvs and I guess typical Hampton ammenities, but with a urban chic feel in the color choice of green and beige. Spacious enough rooms for Manhattan. The staff seemed to be well trained, friendly and joyful. I booked my room at the end of October for a little under $ which was a steal, but I assume this hotel will compete with the boutiques such as Thompson or Soho Grand when its fully up and running.

  • The hotel is brand new and opened in September.2008. I booked at the introductory rate of about $ because I wanted to stay in Soho since my wife wanted to go shopping. We did the central park thing last year and wanted to try a new neighborhood. We chose Soho, but all the hotels were over $ a night, and the Hampton Soho came online just when we booked, as it was not online the previous day. I could not have made a better choice. The lobby is gorgeous. Very clean, sleek and decorative. The greenhouse is nothing like i have ever seen in a Hampton as it is a great garden in Manhattan. The rooms are Manhattan sized rooms, and not as bad as the W New York on Lexington Avenue. We had very comfortable beds, a view of the empire state building, internet connection, shower, and flat screen TV. There is a ""business center"" in the lobby, but it was only a laptop and a printer..small, but adequate for what we needed to do. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help with directions and recommendations. The hotel is very convenient to the subways, only 2 blocks away, and also Spring Street, where you will find the high end retail stores. I visited the Soho Grand and 60 Thompson and am glad I chose the Hampton Soho as those hotels are only 1 block away, and I paid $ less per night.

  • Pois ? estivemos neste hotel entre 26 de mar?o e 4 de abril de 2009, adoramos, recomendamos a todos aquele que venham para c? que tentem ficar neste hotel, e comodo as pessoas s?o simpaticas, limpo, novo, tem pequeno almo?o inc., tem uma sala de pequenos almo?os que a qualquer hora do dia podemos passar beber um ch? ou um caf?, ? noite quando estamos muito cansados de palmilar as ruas podeos comprar comida (japon?s Chines....s?o bons exemplos) e comer no hotel, h? sempre pratos talheres copos microondas...e simpatia ....
