  • We stayed here for three nights and were gone on business for most of the days. We were initially concerned about the parking, but it never proved to be a problem at all (6.95/24 hours, or .50 per hour for on street parking) but free if you are gone between 0800 and 1800 hrs.Pros: bed comfort, hotel RESTAURANT and garden (also a good Thai restaurant Indomania, 26th and Collins)...walking distance. Close to boardwalk/beach. Pool area nice, but didnt get to use it. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.Cons: small, dated bathroom, noisy on Sat. night, distance from the heart of S. Beach. Could have been a little cleaner.We would stay here again

  • Very nice hotel only 1 block from the beach and Collins avenue. We got the room with 1 king bed, it was comfortable, the room was clean, bathroom was small but clean. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. Easy parking, buy the pass at the front desk for $* to park for 24 hours. South beach was a quick cheap cab ride away. We would definitely stay again.

  • Ive stayed in a room with king-size bed and believe me, I loved this so much that I was waking up at 12 and I was always missing my breakfast. But thats the point of having a vacation. The good thing was that I could have my morning coffee by the pool. It was more like a brunch actually; the restaurant offers great gourmet attractions.

  • I loved this hotel - although it is old and you can hear everything going on. I stayed in the room directly above the main entrance and could hear comings and goings at all hours. Other than that, my room way clean and comfortable and the staff was great.

  • The hotel was in a more residential area, but that was good for a more relaxed atmosphere. It was still close enough to walk to restaurants, and there were useful bus routes nearby. The beach (with a nice boardwalk) was minutes away, which was great. Also, a supermarket was only 1 block away... The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms were well-maintained and decorated in a pleasing/comfortable way, and the pool sand shaded restaurant area were lovely. Everything was very comfortable, which is a great thing in a hotel! I would stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

  • A friend related to some people in a film company which stayed at the hotel told methat the people in the movie production were saying that the hotel was awesome and thatthey will go back; that they were treated very well by a very friendly staff, that therooms were very clean and that the bar was cozy and that the restaurant was fabulous.That the atmosphere was very friendly, at ease, casual, and, at the same time, witha touch of class. I commented this to the night Front Desk person, and he showed me a fax sent by that film company expressing their favor for their great experience at the hotel and their pledge to come back and recommend the hotel to other film companies.From my own experience I can attest all of above and will come backMy room was spotless clean and neat and the housekeeping personnel was fast, discrete and non intrusive nor disruptive.The front desk is one of the best I ever seen in my many travels, the white hair guy in the night shift, vast culture and a great rapport with guests, like if he was the owner, with a vested interest in having his guest happy.The bar/restaurant is one of the top ten in Miami Beach with great food, and very attentive and friendly staff.Loved the background music at night and breakfast, a great selection of classical music.Liked to have the paper delivered in my door every morning.Loved the alligator with the room key attached to it, makes a great souvenir and theme of conversation.The garden and pool are a Mini Paradise.Not a 5 star hotel in Dubai but is great and its people make it better.

  • Fairly nice boutique hotel, a little far away from middle of South Beach but great if you dont want to be in the action. Clean rooms, great staff, wonderful restaurant. Only complaint, the pool was dirty and the hot tub was out of order, bummer for cold Tennesseans looking for a treat in the sun. We wanted the South Beach experience so would stay closer to middle of town next time. Nice, restful hotel if thats what you are looking for.

  • This was our fourth stay at this Deco gem, located just outside the South Beach dining and entertainment district, but near enough to dip into at will. The hotels beautifully landscaped terrace and pool are an oasis; the restaurant is superb; the decor and atmosphere are lovely, spare, serene; and rooms, beds and amenities are consistently fine. Hotel staff are cordial and helpful. And overnight parking is less than $7.00 per 24-hour day--compared with $25 or more in South Beach. We wouldnt stay anywhere else.

  • THis hotel claims to to remodeled. All that was done was they put new flooring over the old and painted. Bathrooms are small and not up to date. The hotel staff isnt friendly. The restaurant is small but nice. Food was pretty good but pricey. If you stay dont stay on the main floor by the lobby. In these rooms you can hear everything all night long. We had a room full of young people that partied all night and got in at 5:00 a.m. and then wanted to party in the room. The hotel staff tried to quiet them but failed. The fire alarm was pulled at the same time and everyone had to vacate the hotel. This hotel is close to the beach but there is not very good choices for activities. For the price and location I will not stay here again.

  • For the price the hotel was vey nice, cozy and quiet. We went to the restaurant and the food was AWESOME, but during our dinner we saw two cockroaches on the restaurant. They should do a better job on pest control. But overall the food was the best, the hotel is great and again you get a boutique hotel for the price of a Holiday Inn.

  • For the price the hotel was vey nice, cozy and quiet. We went to the restaurant and the food was AWESOME, but during our dinner we saw two cockroaches on the restaurant.   • I chose this hotel based on the travelers reviews because for the most part is sounded like a pretty nice place and the pictures looked nice (very misleading). The rooms are extremely small which would of been ok but the bathroom was tiny. You could not hardly move around in there and really no place to put your things. The bathroom need a major overhaul the caulk in the tub was black from mold as well black on the bottom of the face of the tub. Our top lock did not work and I asked the front desk to have someone look at it and as far as we know no one did anything about it. I am not a very picky person but this hotel left alot to be desired.

I was there for a weekend and the prices were higher than these for the working days. Dont forget Creek 28. This is one of the best restaurants in all Miami and the chief is a true magician. Even you just visit Miami and not staying for an overnight, definitely you should try Creek 28. I had butternut squash ravioli tossed in sage brown butter sauce and Swiss chard and goat cheese and honestly it was wow!

My advise is to try the Grilled romaine salad with oven-dried tomatoes, red onion, grated parmesan and dijon vinaigrette. Im not a big connoisseur but I think the chief is either Italian or French.

  • The Idian creek hotel offers alot of peace and quiet in an area known for hustle and bustle.It is about 12 blocks from South Beach but is an easy walk I would reccomend to and young marrieds both straight and gay. The rooms were a nice size and the pool on the premises was an added plus. It is close and convienent to everything on Miami beach...singles

  • The hotel did not have their staff there overnight.unable to get extra wash cloths.The resturant has great food but it took an hour to be seated and an hour to get our food.Parking is horrible near hotel. They have a parking lot near hotel but you have to use a lot of quarters .It is not worth parking during the day there if you plan to go to south beach. South beach in not in walking distance.You would need to have a car or takie other tranportation.The bathroom was extremely small. The housekeeper came only once to clean. Only made up the bed once.Lastly when we checkout we accidently left some bags behind.We called right after we left the hotel to retrieve our things.But and they put us through the run around lieing about not seeing anything in our room.We know the staff took our things.   • The hotel itself is old, but cute. The lobby was nice, staff was very friendly. If you book this hotel, please know that you may get a room that is not attached to the hotel. It is actually an apartment. I thought that was pretty neat, but if you are not from Miami I would opt to stat at the hotel. I am from Miami in Orlando 2 years now so I felt safe and comfortable. The floor was tiled in the ""apartment"" or room that I stayed in so I didnt have to deal with old, dirty carpet. The bathroom was small, but it was updated and clean.The bed was comfortable. I did not get a chance to go to the pool, but please know I didnt have cable. that did not bother me b/c I was hardly in the room. K.Snowden Orlando,FL
