- I have been to Vegas several times and this was our best trip thus far. We had 9 people in our group and we had a great time at the pool (they could use a couple extra girls to take drink orders that service was a little slow but not any worse than other hotels I have been to). We really liked the rooms comfortable for the price very clean and well laid out. The thing that we really loved was the concierge took care of getting tickets for shows and took time to ask what we liked and made recomendations. We ignored his adivice on one show and he was right we didnt like it. We made the coment that it was pricey to take cabs from the hotel to the strip and he suggested car rental disscussed several different veh options ordered the rental, the hotel took care of all the paper work and when it cae time to return it dropped off the valet ticket with the cocierge and that was done. The concierge was great and help us with all sorts of non gambling activities and we have used a concierge before at other hotels never were they this useful.

- GVR was great. We split our vacation between staying on the strip the first half and at GVR the second half. It was just what we needed after the craziness and bustle of the Strip. We stayed in the East Wing and the room was beautiful! Great beds and linens, luxurious bathroom and towels and very nice amenities. The servicing of the rooms twice daily with turndown is a very nice addition. The service at the hotel was excellent-the staff was there at every turn to assist in any way from the housekeepers to the valets, to the bellmen , to the front desk attendants. We especially enjoyed the main pool area with the sandy beach and zero entry, as well as the bed-style loungers and misters. We didnt go to the adults only pool, but it sounded like a fun time in there.The public areas were immaculate and there were many places just to sit and relax or read or whatever. The casino, food court, movie theater, restaurants, and bars onsite meant there was always plenty to do. We liked the Original Pancake House for breakfest (very quick and efficient), and the Feast Buffet at dinner was top notch. GVRs location is fabulous-only about 10-15 mins from the strip by car (we never used the shuttle), and right off the highway. There is an open air shopping center right next to the hotel/casino that has both sit down restaurants and quick service restaurants, as well as plenty of higher end shops and boutiques. This place is a great alternative to the strip, especially for families and couples who want a relaxing, but luxurious place to stay.

- This hotel is absolutely georgous......Has everything you need. Only wentto the strip one time in four days. Loved the pool....didnt win any money. The slots were not very kind....The negative side is it is kind of hard getting around. walked around lost for a couple of days....

- I really like this place because the hotel is separate from the casino - which means there is a quiet, comfortable lobby away from the noise and chaos of the casino. Also, GVR has a wonderful exercise facility and great spa with steam room, sauna, hot tub and very pleasant staff. The adjacent ""District"" shopping center as well as the Whole Foods and Cheesecake Factory across the road mean there are a variety of eating places and stores within a short walk. The attached multi-screen cinema is also a plus. The rooms are very comfortable and getting to the Strip for a show is a quick 15-20 minute drive (we usually rent a car since we like to see the surrounding areas). All-in-all, I highly recommend this place.

- I took my mother here for her birthday. We had a wonderful time. I have to say its more for adults, but personally I think Vegas in general is an adult vacation spot. We really loved the Pond Pool and the more quiet atmosphere. We went to the strip for shows and would have liked more shuttle options. Otherwise you will take a cab that will cost about $* to get back. I think I would consider a car for this location again in the future if they dont improve the shuttle options. WE LOVED THE HOTEL tho. It was BEAUTIFUL and the amenities were really wonderful. The rooms, the pool area and furniture, the Mojitos! All were top notch. I would love to go back!!

- We really loved GVR. Entire staff is professional, down to earth and makes it a priority to help the guests.Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very comfortable, bathrooms nice.Casino was a good size and not too big. Odds seemed pretty good on the slots.We loved the spa, had treatments each day we were there. Best Massage I ever had so I went back to a second time the next day! The gym was nice. It had all of the cardio and weight training equipment you could ask for. Pools were all over! There was a few main pools, then one they called the Pond - which was a bit pricey and exclusive so we didnt go there. There was also a pool in the spa which was very nice. The location is not too far from the strip. We have been going to Vegas yearly and I have found a hotel that is comfortable and in a beautiful place.Also really liked the District. We caught an excellent Jazz concert one night while we dined outside at one of the restaurants. The Original Pancake house was a good deal but beware the portions are HUMONGOUS!!Husband stayed in the sports book most of the time and he really liked that as well.

- If you are looking for a relaxing , then GVR is the place for you. The pool was a little small for the size of the hotel, however it was a nice touch to have the sandy beach bottom. Also arrive early if you plan on staying poolside all day, because you will definitely need one of their portable umbrellas. The casino was also an unexpected highlight due to its smaller size and the variety of slot machines. There were always ample seats available at all times of the day. It was also nice to have the food court located nearby, as well as the 3-4 restaurants located on the casino floor. All had good food, but The Feast had the most reasonable prices. Be sure to sign up for their players card, too.Some drawbacks would be the hotel incidentals charge. We werent informed of this daily fee which covered the slippers, newspapers, bottled water, etc. when we checked in. It would have been nice to have worn the slippers, had we known that we were paying for them daily. Also, if you miss their courtesy shuttle to the strip or airport, be prepared to pay between $*for a one-way cab ride. You must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the shuttle time to pick up a numbered ticket to ride. If you are the 15th person...you are out of luck.All in all, we had a great time and would visit again. The nightly turn-down service was unexpected and nice, and all the rooms have doorbells too! So if you are looking for some Las Vegas heat and loose casino action, but not the hustle and bustle of the strip...then you should consider GVR.

- This hotel was great! It has a spa, casino (where you can actually win!), awesome pools, and the beds were soooo comfortable. There is not one bad thing to say about our stay here. We were extremely happy here. It is a short drive from the strip, very easy to get to, and there is a mall directly across the street with many shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone no matter what you are in Vegas for. Its great for business travelers, families, or just for fun. You can live like a king/queen on a budget. I will definitely, positively, absolutely come back to Green Valley.

- My daughter, her 4 month old baby and I spent two days at the resort both in the hotel and utilizing the spa. It gave us a chance to rekindle a relationship that has been strained for the last few years. For this opportunity both of us are grateful.I myself have been to many hotels throughout the world and on many curises and I would like to say that this was the most positive experience overall that I have had. The people in the hotel were very courteous and attentive. They appeared to like their jobs. No one waited around for a tip and all were willing to help us in anyway we needed and we did have some special requests with having a baby with us. Whoever is teaching your customer service should be praised tremendously.The spa was an out of world experience. They worked with us to ensure we each had a positive experience and assisted us with the transfer of the baby. Staff and several more people that we encoutered were wonderful. I am sorry I can not remember all of the names that both myself and my daughter came in contact with but I wish to express our eternal gratitude to all of them. The spa experience is one that neither of us will ever forget and I will certainly pass my recommendations for your resort along to other people. My only complaint was that the coffee set up in the room was minimal and not very good. I usually travel with my own coffee pot and supplies. We would have appreciated less bar supplies and more coffe supplies. However, it did not ruin our stay.Thank you again from Regina and Michelle Garcia.

- 2 teachers in search of sunshine and rejuvenation on spring break. GVR was, honestly, everything we had hoped and dreamed for. We wanted sun, relaxation, pools, friendliness, comfort--all on a teachers budget. This place is gorgeous, clean, friendly and not crowded at all on spring break. Both staffers and fellow travelers were lovely. We are not gamblers so we didnt mind that it was 15 minutes from the strip--in fact, that was a plus. The spa facilities are $$. We got a 1/2 hour massage once to experience it, then found 2 spas 5 minutes away and got facials and more massages for a normal price. There is shopping VERY nearby--5 minute walk through the hotel. JJill, Crate and Barrel, various restaurants, etc. Then at the end of that is Whole Foods. We ate there every day b/c it was so much cheaper AND healthier. We are going back next year with more friends, I cannot recommmend this place enough! I came home sublimely happy and rested.

- The resort was more than what I expected. All the staff at the resort was the best, very nice and friendly. Every thing you needed, it was just like you were the only person there and I know that is not true. But they treated me like I was. Very clean warm and relax atmosphere. I would definitely come back for the price that my online agency offered. Well worth the money.

- The resort was more than what I expected. All the staff at the resort was the best, very nice and friendly. Every thing you needed, it was just like you were the only person there and I know that is not true. But they treated me like I was. Very clean warm and relax atmosphere. I would definitely come back for the price that my online agency offered. Well worth the money.

- Stayed at GVR 3 days Dec 21-24, very nice accomadation about 6 miles from the strip, with a cinema and shopping district at the Hotel casino entrance, even though th 5 star resorts on the strip are nice also this type of setting is much more relxing than being traped in a mega resort, the restuarnts and the buffet have some the highest ratings, and is located in a nice upscale part of vegas off highway 215, This is one of the finest resorts i have ever stayed and was a bargain.

- The hotel was absolutely gorgeous - we were not disappointed at all. In fact, it was even prettier in person than on the website. The staff was very friendly and it was very secure. We will definately go back and will recommend it to our friends and family.

- We stayed in December 2008 1 week prior to Christmas, and it was absolutely perfect.The room, food, staff, spa, casinos were wonderful.Would definately recommend it to anyone including families with children. My son lives in Henderson and it was and will be the next place we will stay during the Christmas Holidays.

- This hotel is phenomenal! From the moment you walk into the lobby area, youll know youre in for a treat. The decor is beautiful, the rooms exceptional! The service is excellent! The only minor detail I would give a second thought to is the main pool. Since it is connected to the sand pool, the water appears to be hazy and discolored somewhat. Sand tends to be pushed into the main pool area so walking on sand particles is a surprise when youre not expecting it. The cocktail waitresses and life guards at the pools are excellent as well!! Please be generous with tipping them. They go the extra mile to accommodate the guests in the HOT, HOT weather. They are real troopers! We will definitely stay again and bring the family next time.

- THis is a great hotel that is located about 7 miles from the strip. My wife and I loved the rooms, the service, the pool and the food at the hotel. It will be hard to find a better hotel in Las Vegas unless you have to stay on the strip.The only problem was finding the hotel entrance. It is hidden and not well signed.

- No Kids, no Husbands, no worries...GVR is our favorite place to go, the location to all the best shopping is key, the hotel itself is a jewel in the desert, with views that change by the minute as the suns position changes. We are always treated very well, and have GVR as our base for Christmas shopping...already booked for next year!..The location of GVR is the best, away from the noise, yet close enough if you want it..barr none the best kept secret in Vegas!
