  • The hotel was very modern and chic. The free breakfast every morning was convenient, good and well stocked. The hotel staff spoke basic english and that was extremely helpful with any and all questions. The hotel is off the beaten path and taxi drivers had difficulty with locating it even with directions that were in the chinese language/alphabet. The subways are not as close as indicated approximately 2 miles walking distance. That was the only downfall. I booked a tour with the front dest and it was easy and inexpensive. Overall I was extremely satisfied and the breakfast was a bonus.

  • First you should know this hotel is not correctly located on the the online travel website. It is located directly east from the south gate of The Temple of Heaven. There are no subway stops anywhere near the hotel, and a taxi driver at the Beijing Railaway Station refused to take us there, een when we showed him where it was on a Chinese map with Mandarin characters. So, if you dont mind a walk to get there, or speak mandarin, the hotel itself is very clean, has friendly staff and very clean rooms with great showers. There is a laundry room should you need one, and the breakfast buffet is better than most with a good assortment of western food. Beware of trying to eat in the breakfast room when tour groups are there - it is very crowded and a bit of a rugby scrum to get your food which disppears fast. Overall, a positive experience.

  • Perfect location, 10 mins walking to Temple of Heaven. Easy to call a cab, close to Tianan men Square and Wangfujing Street. Comfortable room and bed. Staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast is included in room rate, and free for internet everywhere of the hotel.
