  • Girlfriend and I came to Miami for a get away weekend. Good value stay, however the rooms/bathrooms are small but who spends time in there on vacation anyways. Very noisy rooms b/c of the hardwood floors so dont plan to sleep much with partiers being out all night around you. Service was ok at the bar, except XXX. He was excellant! Being a local he told us where to go, and where not to go.The resort fee includes beach towels, continental brkfst, and wine tasting in the evening. Great location, near the beach and shopping. Remember gratuity is included in most dining areas so service is very poor throughout South Beach. Would stay here again for the value and location.

  • I made a reservation thru Travelocity for this hotel but when I arrived at 4 pm (check-in 3:00 pm). I asked why my reservation wasnt honored and was told that their were guests that extended their stay. I arrived at the sister hotel very rudely by their staff then given a room that was mody due to the fact the bathroom above me leaked into my room. I contacted the front desk and Travelocity for some assistance but this hotel refused to move room or refund my money. I spent over 2 hours going back and forth with Travelocity and the hotel before I was given a refund by Travelocitys choice not the hotel and moved to another hotel. Worse experience ever!!

  • Well, lets get the negatives out of the way. 1st of all, there was no parking on the premises or on the streets, so we had to pay to park in a municipal structure about a block away. 2nd piece of bad news, there was an additional daily charge called a ""resort fee"" added for charges to cover a continental breakfast, beach towels, pool use, daily newspaper, exercise room, wi-fi and a wine social. Im just wondering why instead of a separate fee, the charges weren?t just added to the price of the room when it was quoted. Finally, our room and the T.V. were small much like a cabin on a cruise ship. But, since we were out exploring every day, that didnt matter much. The pluses: The location was fantastic, it is located on Collins Street (a main happening street) and only a block from the famous Ocean Blvd and its glittery sidewalk cafes. Across from the cafes is a green belt called Lumis Park that fronts the great public beach. We were also a block from Washington Street, a major shopping thoroughfare, and three blocks from Lincoln Street, which is closed to automobile traffic and which boasts countless restaurants with outdoor seating and that are located amongst upscale retail stores. The hotel itself and many other buildings are done in the whimsical Art Deco style, which is unique to this vibrant area. Our room and the public places were clean, nicely decorated and well taken care of. The staff was mostly pleasant, helpful and available. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • My boyfriend and I decided to slip away to Miami for our five year anniversary. Exhausted from earlier airline problems, we were relieved to arrive at such a beautiful, relaxing place. I extensively researched hotels before our trip and this one caught my eye with the decor in the pictures. Nothing exaggerated; the place was upscale. Minutes from great dining, beach nearby, and shopping a few blocks away...what more could you ask for? Much privcay...we didnt care about ice ;o) Nothing but great memories...we will definitely return!

  • The room was a little seedy, but cant beat the location. Staff were not very polite, very SoBe. The valet at $* a day seems steep but your best bet given street parking prices.

  • Bed was huge, excellent location surrounded by everything, only negative room could use a paint job. Definitely hotel for the young if you can handle noise. Excellent deal. Staff was nice. Food is very expensive. The hotel has a very nice bar and youll enjoy the garden.

  • Bed was huge, excellent location surrounded by everything, only negative room could use a paint job. Definitely hotel for the young if you can handle noise. Excellent deal. Staff was nice. Food is very expensive. The hotel has a very nice bar and youll enjoy the garden.

  • Do not stay at this "hotel". The rooms remind me of a very bad college dorm room. The shower is ultra tiny. I could not lift my arms to wash my hair without bumping into one of the wall of the shower or the shower curtain. The measurements were 2.5 feet X 2.5 feet. (My boyfriend actually measured it!!) The location was great, but plan to stay out all night. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. The gas station across the street was a great amenity, because that is the only place you can get ice!!
