  • This trip was my third returning trip to Tobys. The food at the restuarant was good and affordable some of the staff are pleasant and professional. However one of the women at the front desk may need some professional etiquitte training. I called the hotel after my trip and a young lady was very rude and and asked me to call back eventhough I was calling long distance. Initially she did not even listen to my question. she stated she was to busy to take my call. I have never had a complaint until this trip my credit card was billed after I left the country for food purchases. My receipt has one quote but the hotel charged me additional price later and billed me. Clearly there was a discrepancy and this was my reason for calling but, I was told to call back ""I AM TOO BUSY"". I will be traveling there this year again and I will correct the error with the manager in June2008.

  • Tobys is both affordable and comfortable. The rooms are clean and the property is well maintained. The staff is both friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Paul the driver took very good care of us when we needed to go anywhere inlcuding a tour of the countryside. He also arranged a fishing boat for us. The restaurant at Tobys is as good as any on the island. The food is great and the prices are reasonalble.
